You really must pay attention to when this thread was made and when the last post was made.

Awesome! Great blend of the modern body style with the radical old school touches. Not sure if that was what you were going for, but that's what I got out of it. I can't tell definitively from the picture, but do the headers have openings in the hood to come through or do they jut through the geometry? Not a big deal. Just thought a few openings in the body would give it a more realistic feel.
That's actually exactly what I was going for. And about the openings in the hood, I'll have to talk to Chris about that. He's my Blender guy

Couple of cookouts to go to, blowing some stuff up.
You know. Normal day here in southern Virginia. 'Murica.

I'd have to say either Traxxas, UTI, or Magnaflow. Hell, maybe even Lucas Oil since they are big into the offroad scene.

Hey guys, since we here at DJM Racing strongly encourage every participant to create a custom truck of their own, why not have a place to show them off in their test, build, or finished stage. If you don't quite want to reveal your truck, feel free to create some kind of teasers to hype it up. I'm sure everyone here would love to see the rides they'll be matched up with come September. Feel free to post some progress reports as well!
So, without further ado, Déjà Vu in it's build stage:
Alright, I've shown mine. Now, it's YOUR TURN!

Well, after a lot (and I mean A LOT) of help from Chris Hamilton, we have this:
We also went for a Meents style paddle for Rear Steer (which we believe is the first left-handed rear steer control in RoR):
And it wouldn't be the 80's without these:
So, what started out as something I drew in Government class when I was bored, has finally taken to life thanks to Chris.

The only thing I would say is make the stadium more like an oval. Other than that, great job working on detail.

A better look at Bad Habit:
Joe Sylvester also said on Facebook that Rigid Industries LED Lights is now the primary sponsor and the Dodge dealership sponsor may or may not stay for a while, so it looks like this design (the paint/wrap anyway) may be staying with us for a while.

I wouldn't necessarily call what Neil did a corkscrew. More of a pirouette.

You need a photoshop account
No you don't?
In the reply/edit thing there's a button with a picture of a tree. Upload the picture to a site (I use tinypic.com). Copy the direct link URL, click the picture button, paste the URL in there, and boom.

Well, here it is. My custom that started as a drawing I did in Government class one day while I was bored. Tried to go for a fusion of modern day monster trucks with a taste of the 80's styles we all love.
Credits:
Paint: Yours truly.
Placement of everything, KC light model, body modifications, exportation, and everything blender related: Christopher Hamilton
Tires: John Dough
Everything else yet to be mentioned: V4 guys.
I do reserve the right to use this truck in any league or fun run I choose, and I will be using this for the upcoming DJM Racing season this September.
If you have Beau4x4's sounds, feel free to change the script on this truck to Zoomies!
Thanks for downloading!
P.S- Even if you did want to use this truck, wouldn't you just feel silly driving a truck with my name on the roof?
