After about two months of very hard work, I can proudly say that Overkill Evolution is now released! This is probably my best work in Rigs of Rods to date, and I couldn't have done it without a great team of people behind me! Enough said, let's get to the credits so these people can get the recognition they deserve! Building Team: Daniel Donnelly (DanDon) Mark Colineri (Mark Colineri) Nicholas Kozak (Outlawed) John Dough (John Dough) Johan Seminario (acdcfan56) Matt Wilkinson (SealedGecko) Edy Beltran (Coconutmen) Credits: Body Model/Graphics - John Dough, acdcfan56 Chassis Model - Outlawed Chassis Construction - DanDon, Mark Colineri Chassis Texturing - Mark Colineri Engine Model/Textures - SealedGecko, RockCrwlr, Mark Colineri Transmission Model/Textures - acdcfan56 Transfer Case/Output Shafts Model/Texture - crazyman444 (modified by DanDon) Lexan/Diamond Plate Models - DanDon (textured by Mark Colineri) Pedals Model/Textures - acdcfan56 Shocks Model/Textures - Sim-Monsters V4 Pack Makers (modified by DanDon), Coconutmen Tire Model/Texture - RockCrwlr Rim Model/Texture - acdcfan56 (modified by Wambo, DanDon), Wambo 4-Link Bar, Steering Ram, Tie Rod, Driveshaft Model/Textures/Placement - DanDon Axle Housing Model/Texture - crazyman444 (about 80% modified by DanDon), DanDon Rear Steer Motor Model - DanDon Coil Model/Texture - Sim-Monsters V4 Pack Makers, Coconutmen Battery Model/Texture - Sim-Monsters V4 Pack Makers Shock Placement - DanDon, SealedGecko Suspension Set-Up - DanDon If I forgot anyone or anything, I do apologize and let me know through a private message and I will be sure to update the list of credits! Another big thanks to everyone involved and I hope everyone on the Sim-Monsters community enjoys this awesome truck!
  2. Like I said on Facebook, this is honestly the best looking Avenger body I've ever seen (besides the normal lighter green style), but what throws it off for me is the Fox Sports 1-esque logo around Avenger. Otherwise, great work by Garners Towing.
  3. That was one cause, but another cause was minor drivetrain issues where driveshafts, input shafts, and miscellaneous other things that were caused by the tires gripping too much on some landings or take-offs. A lot of people just choose not to "upgrade" to them because they're weak (bang on a sidewall of a Goodyear or Firestone, than bang on a sidewall of an EcoWork).
  4. Finally got the rims done! Thanks to Andrew Wamsley (Wambo) for editing the rim models and making the texture! A few more minor texturing things to fix, then to do some shock adjustments, and this thing will be ready to release!
  5. I've never really cared too much for painting or making graphics for trucks in RoR, but I thought I needed to make my first real official custom truck for me to use in some leagues that allow custom trucks. So, I decided to play around with Photoshop a little bit and came up with this: Any constructive criticism is more than welcome for it. I want to keep it on this body model (credit to John Dough for the model), but I'm thinking off adding a few more sponsor decals and a few other small details to it. Here's a chassis picture as well, and yes, some of the colors will be changing on it:
  6. When me and Adam Anderson were on Skype, he mentioned how Ryan was playing Rigs of Rods on his T.V. I asked what is was about, and he mentioned how it was this really cool monster truck driving simulator that he got off of Sim-Monsters. Well, a year later, I got around to looking into it more, then on August 13th, 2012, I played with RoR for the first time. Of course, wasn't good at it right away, but I got the hang of it after about a month. I competed in my first fun run later that month, then my first league event in the second weekend of September.

  8. I'm getting new rim models made up for it so it has the new Pettibone planetary cover model, along with 12 lug nuts and 6 triangle supports. Yeah, I realized that they were swapped around. I've been working on fixing them.
  9. Did a little bit of prop updating and placement for EVO
  10. Rear steer motor model belongs to your's truly, and very nice work.
  11. This is one of two apparent tire designs that Feld will be using on their fleet trucks come 2015.
  12. Iron Outlaw is booked for another event that same weekend.
  13. Big thanks to Nick Kozak (Outlawed) for the chassis model, Johan Seminario (acdcfan56) for the graphics and upcoming rim model/paint, John Dough (John Dough) for the body model, and Mark Colineri for the texturing work on the chassis! I'm putting in some more work to the truck to make it as good as it can possibly be, and then it will be good and ready for release! More screenshots will be coming soon!

  16. Yes, Metal Mulisha is owned by Feld Motorsports.
  17. Me and Chris are working together on more of those updates. I'll be releasing some soon myself, and he will also.
  18. Doughboy's views on Monster Jam are FAR from the real thing.
  19. Doing some axle housing remodeling for Overkill Evolution. Pretty much rebuilding it from scratch. Won't be the same once I'm done with it.
  20. Only went all-day Saturday. We would've went Sunday too, but we couldn't find a cheap and decent hotel room in the area to stay overnight at.
