  1. She had an easy win too, very lucky break for Colton (if they can't get the truck fixed that is)
  2. Yeah I thought there would be practice as well, the night's gonna be over pretty quick without those extra passes.
  3. Tristan is facing Randy Brown in the first round, not Marc.
  4. Never mind I just saw Monster Jam's tweet that said England is seeded 15th, get your brackets ready boys.
  5. I've been looking at the double down showdown qualifying and it doesn't seem like England had a qualifying time below 17.500, so that should mean he's seeded 32nd, right?
  6. Wow, now two drivers who won their points series won't be claiming their reward. That's a shame, but Alex is a proven vet so he'll show up for sure.
  7. I'm hoping more than ever that he doesn't flip in the first 5 seconds of his freestyle, that body looks awesome and it's even more exciting that the whole thing is new.
  8. Putting Tyler above Linsey for freestyle odds is a bit ballsy, hope it turns out that way
  9. https://www.monsterjam.com/en-US/news/scott-douglass-mjwf-xviii-racing-odds Scott has posted his racing odds, and his choices for the top two warm my heart. Take it with a grain of salt of course, since I think Morgan had 40-1 odds last year.
  10. Weird how they'd flip flop like that, I wonder what's going on
  11. Shoot sorry, read it is Coty as oppose to Cole, ignore me lol
  12. That's pretty concerning, if that were the case you'd imagine whatever the issue is digs a bit deeper than just an injury. Also, very interesting how neither of the Monster Energy drivers at the beginning of the year will be driving next weekend.
  13. To be fair the last two years have been more competitive than most in the past
  14. I think Rosalee would be a good pick to be first out in freestyle. I don't she'll go too big too quick, and has the potential to put down a wow moment or two.
  15. Chuck Warner is the ultimate snub, but I can't say I'm upset with the new drivers in, particularly Becky. Hopefully Jester can make a good run in YGS.
  16. As disappointing as this confirmation is, it's not nearly as big a deal compared to if this happened five years ago. Between having more than one of the same truck at the finals and the fact that Dennis and Tom are not the clear best drivers of their respective teams anymore, I don't think their absence will detract from the quality of the show too much. In fact, it could even give two lucky drivers a chance to let themselves be known on the biggest stage.
  17. And just like that there's only 12 spots left besides the YGS champion, I swear every year I'm taken aback by how little and how many 32 competitors feels like at the same time.
  18. Sorry if I missed this discussion, but did anyone else like the term Ryan LaCoste coined called 'back-to-backflips'? It flows off the tongue a bit better than 'consecutive backflips'.
  19. Even more so, they are often better than one show weekends in my opinion.
  20. Second shows confirmed best shows, I've thought this for a while and today it's been super true.
  21. Pardon my ignorance but is this only Tyler Menninga's second year driving? Because he's proven time and time again that he has more control over a monster truck than most veterans. The second clip is also pretty good.
  22. Is it safe to say that run by Colton is the FS of the year so far?
  23. The truck was definitely broke, coupled with the fact that Tom's truck doesn't do backflips well was a recipe for disaster.
  24. Indy was badass. The first two runs were so-so and then things went from 0 to 100 super quick. Morgan won freestyle, but like five or six others absolutely tore it up, including Brianna Mahon who did the best run I'd ever seen from her (and almost doing consecutive backflips). Props to everyone showing up and putting on super good shows.
