Hey All!!!!

A team of us around here have been hard at work thinking up new ways of running events, and we think we have one you guys will really enjoy. Picture this; everyone being in the same server so you can watch other peoples runs as they happen Racing AND Freestyle, with minimal FPS drops. Here’s how it will work, say 10 people are competing, while two are racing the rest will have a 1 node “vehicle” spawned in, this way lag is reduced on all sides, and whenever it's your turn to race, you spawn your truck and race. Once your race is finished you re-log and spawn back into the 1 node “vehicle” simple as that and it should provide a way for all competitors to be in the server at the same time reducing fishy moments of bad RII calls, close races, and other silly nonsense that may go on. So this will be a test event to see how things go. If worst comes to worst we will just run it like any other fun run. So there is 0 guarantee this will work. It’s going to be a learning process for all involved so don’t expect a silky smooth event. However if this does work well, we could see this used more often as a way to incorporate everyone into the events at all times instead of just sitting around in a discord getting into trouble waiting for your turn to race.

This Event will be held on versions  .4.6

Rules:

1. Respect the officials running the event.

2. No running around the track like a jack off

3. ABSOLUTELY NO CHAT SPAM

4. All calls are final by officials only

5. When an RII is called, come to a complete stop immediately

6. Do NOT spawn in your truck until asked

7. After completing your Race/Freestyle exit the server and rejoin using the 1 Node Vehicle.

8. Incase you dont join back quick enough, wait until the next race is over to avoid interference.

9. If more rules are to be added, we will update you guys at the event in the discord

10. Do not complain if you don’t see a truck thats spawned in, its your responsibility to download all trucks you would like to see during the event and we will not wait for you to download them

11. Trucks must be .4 standalone 

12. Only Replicas

13. No fighting in the discord, if you got a problem with someone please take it to the pm's or talk to an official

From what I read by him, its still the same PEI Chassis, but with new parts on it that PEI has sent over? If that makes sense.

Not sure if anyone has posted about this, I checked back two pages but saw nothing. Anyways, Titan and Epidendio are planning on coming back for first quarter. The truck sounds like its going to be a guinea pig for a lot of new parts. Exciting.

How do you specifically know that the dirt in Tampa is the same as Sunrise? Yeah the color might be similar but the dirt content could be completely different resulting in a much better compound on the track? Or maybe their experimenting with ways to keep the sand levels down by spraying the course more often with water? Feld is human too, and they arnt perfect so cut them some slack man. It's a company, the company's gonna do what they need to do  to save money. End of story.

I hope those few adjustments are including the correct shock body model, RKM trucks dont run those shocks. But other wise, looks decent

See this? This is the right way to handle constructive criticism. People can definitely take note from how you handle yourself. Also just another side note on Over Bored. I'm not sure whether its the lighting or what, but the black of the body doesn't look black. Other than that, your doing some great work!

I believe what @Outlawed is trying to say, is that making "Breakables" isn't actually realistic and doesn't work well, is buggy, and generally stupid. It's basically the reason why they never took off amongst the older truck makers. They focused on the stuff that made competition and the product we use better. Rather than this stuff, its a waste of time, and doesn't make anything better.

Download Audacity and use it as the audio recording device. If its still quiet you can boost the volume through that software, and just mix the gameplay and commentary track through post production.

I definitely like the new flames, they look really good for a first effort, I might recommend making the flames themselves be a .png file that you can take off and edit, change colors and such without having to worry about messing up the rest of the hood, but thats just a personal thing to me, improves customization and makes it easier to edit long term.
