Are there tracks that aren't linked to sim monsters but on mediafire and whatnot? I found a lot in the league directory and wondered if there were any anywhere else?

So i am new to the forum part of this game.......been playing for probably a year or so.  But i have version .37 , should i update to a newer version or stay with what i got?  And where do i find the download for .38??  Thanks!

IMO, I prefer .37, but then again I'm not a content maker so it might be better for .38 ig

Has anyone noticed that when you watch on tv, they add audience sounds? Like its the same scream and cheer every time?

Not really new to this site, been here for about a year but I just play by myself. I just wanted to say thanks to all of you for making my dream of a real game come true. I wish I could get more into it. Like content making and leagues. I'm also in the western coalfield region of Kentucky if anyone is close.

You can easily make the truck breakable. You need a breakable truck and the truck that you want to make breakable. Open the breakable .truck file in Notepad.  Select and copy (Ctrl+C) all the lines from "nodes" to the line "camera". Then open your regular .truck file in Notepad, select and delete lines from "nodes" to the line "camera" and paste (Ctrl+V) the copied lines from the breakable truck to the regular .truck file.

If the the breakable .truck file says something like

"detacher_group 5

set_beam_defaults -1, -1, 200005, 300000000005"

, you will want to copy those those lines and replace them into the regular .truck file as this is what makes the truck "break".

It doesn't really matter which breakable .truck file you choose to use to do this as they are all pretty much to same.

Im also having problems with the sounds i got the 'alternete' folder and extracted it into my smv4 folder and the trucks still have no sounds and i cleared my cache. please help!

Extract the .wavs into vehicles folder. then open a .truck file using notepad, go to 98, gravediggersound and change it to either, Zoomies, Mufflers, Sidepipes. then just open truck in game

clear and regen cache,

Cant get rigs to recognize dpad? Knows all other buttons and axis. Anyone know?

Needs more destruction, more busses and cars

I do think backflips are over used. I think they should make obstacles that are good for a backflip around one time. Like when cam did his.

Does anyone think todays tracks arent as good as before? They are all becoming similar. Mid 2000s the tracks were sort of unique with more cars and busses. Now its all dirt.

How do i make a truck breakable?

Try putting re-extracing beaus sound files back into. The .wav only. Then regen in config. I had the problem.

So i have beaus sounds. I want to use the sounds with the v4 full breakable pack. I take the sounds, and copy and paste them into the normal truck file. When i click on the truck, the mouse pops up and it crashes. It also does that when i try to put the sounds in a breakable truck. Im trying the incenerator truck (only left hand and front engine truck besides max d) to work woth beaus sounds. Neither the normal nor breakbale work when i copy and paste the 98 zoomies sounds and reverse alarms.

Any ideas.

Perfect truck, the first person view needa to be corrected, up higher. And needs to be breakable. And ot would he the best truck IMO

So anyway, what im trying to say is, doesnt the sound pack have to go with the breakable trucks? I cant get that menu because i dint have .117 you get from sim. I cant open truck files like that.

If this is in the rigs of rods you get from sim monsters, it doesnt work. I have tried over ten times. Do i need programs. I judt got rigs from a ad. Its the only one that i found that works. So I don't know if i would be able to do that. Hence why i asked.

Wondering if someone could take the full v4 breakable pack by davynijland and put the sound pack from Beau4x4 with it. Tired of the annoying motor sound now and love the breakables.
