I said in the World Finals thread when a few people complained about Scott's score for doing 3 backflips, and I will say it again. Doing multiple backflips should not get you more points, just because you did more. I'll use the same example, it's like going to the same obstacle and doing the same sky wheelies on it.

I'm not saying he didn't deserve the Nashville win, since his run was the only one I watched, but just because you did one move more than anyone else, doesn't mean you should get more points. And if these runs are any indication, it looks like it may be a possibility this could be something he does for most of his runs. But the thing is, one of the things they stress to judges is the variety of moves.

From being there and seeing the runs live, I think he did, he did one in reg and one in bonus, he had great momentum and the truck survived. I think it was a well deserved win, and if he didnt win then Gary Porter should have won.

  2. What about the 10,000 kids i heard when walking out of the stadium said "that was awesome, i cant wait until next year", we hold dearly to us a motorsport aimed at children, and I would drive 24 hours plus to go see a 2 hour show just because i love them whether the show has wow moments or not. Still a big believer in a different freestyle course after witnissing how it handles live, i honestly dont see how the trucks handled vegas back then, they just seem to wanna break after every hit.

  3. Sorry for double post, post above wouldnt let me type or anything,

but the show itself was good imo, racing was ok considering right late won every time, and donuts were good, and freestyle was very good.

I dont understand why only 8 trucks race, why not have all the trucks race, and before the final race have the donut competition, more entertainment.  And is it a bad idea to put some cars on top of the dirt pads? I think it would add more of a challenge, and Lee pretty much did his vegas run.

and i remember old intros where they introduced drivers, guess they dont do that anymore. S

Lol yeah but lets be real. IF he didnt do 3 backflips he wouldnt win lol

Scott would have been mad, he talked to the judges after damens run lol. And gary porter did excellent. My parents and i were compared st louis from 2008 to now and somehow they think it was better back then. Tom almost brought it back, and i dont see how when scott landed on the dumpster hasnt happened more often, i dont understand why they put it there,

Yeah at the start rain started to pour, which i think made racing kinda interesting, But noone could beat Ryan, the guy is too fast. Freestyle had its ups and down, I dont like fan judgeing, Max-D has some crazy air, Scott did really good, since el toro did a backflip he got a 29

Solid show, too bad ryan broke,

  6. Lets make one,

Save /sāv/ - To put a truck in a precarious position, on which the driver manuvers the truck in order to minimize the damage done. The truck must be able to continue afterwards. The driver must use skill to return truck to all four wheels (or number of wheels remaining on truck before precarious position was in current state, i.e. 3 wheels). Body damage is allowed as long as a tire is touching the perfomance area at all times. If any part of truck other than tire is touching the ground and the driver no longer has control of what happens, does not classify as a save. If no tire is touching the the performance area,    truck can not be rolled onto its roof.

    In sentence-

Neil Elliot in Anaheim 2015 had two great saves.

Tom Meents in Baltimore 2013 had an epic sidewall dont, that resulted in the truck rolling and returning to wheels.

  7. Venue- Sam Boyd Stadiums (locker rooms removed along with sign so more room)

Muddy, just like santa clara except a little dryer.

    Feld vs Indies, no budget

Vegas Style Racing except since the track is longer, double lane of crush cars, similar to PENDA Racing winner goes 2nd to last after previous champion

    1 day format,

8 truck young guns racing in between racing and freestyle of actual show, double elimination

    24 trucks

    Indies

    1. Titan- Donald Epidindio

    2. Time Fly's- kelvin Ramer

    3. Wild Flower- Rosa Lee Ramer

    4. Bounty Hunter- Jimmy creten

    5. Scarlet Bandit- Dawn Creten

    6. Iron Outlaw- Lindsey weenk

    7. Overkill Evolution- Micheal vaters jr

    8. Avenger- Jim Kohler

    9. Brutus- Chris Bergeron

    10. Straight Jacket- Kevin King

    11. Hooked- Steven Sims Jr

    12. Jester- Matt (last name here)

    Company Trucks-

    1. Taz- Adam Anderson

    2. Son Uva Digger- Ryan Anderson

    3. Grave Digger- Dennis Anderson

    4. Maximum Destruction (06 body)- Tom Meents

    5. Hotwheels (2004 it think the one with the hubcaps)- Neil Elliot

    6. Pastrana 199- Paul Cohen

    7. Wrenchead.com- Jill Canuso

    8. Monster Energy- Damon Bradshaw

    9. Blue thunder- Lyle Hanrooster

    10. Lucas Oil Crusader- Tyler menniga (dont think i spelled that right) yes i have him in crusader

    11. Monster Mutt (old body) - Bobby Z or dana creech

    12. Blacksmith- pablo huffaker

Track layout will have most best obstacles

    Rock Pile(4)

    Triple Bus stack(9)

Double fountain jump, not as large as single fountain, sort of like double van

    Concrete filled truck(9)

    Tire jump (wf8)

    Van jump on left side(wf3)

Middle jump of wf9 to the right of track

WF5 middle jump at end of track where locker room should be facing stadium.

no backflip ramps, if they wanna do a backflip, they have to find a way like cam in jacksonville.

  8. one more thing. its just a thought but most of the trucks seem to break. With the way the tracks have been designed, there isnt much anyone can do. Basically just run over dirt. i guess im just stuck in the past, i like seeing stuff cleared and crushed. im not saying they arent getting huge air or going big distances, but two massive dirt islands are difficult to clear. its like the double van stacks some of us grew tired of, it wasnt big air to clear them but it made it seem so much more impressive. Im pretty sure some of the jumps this year could have cleared the triple of wf9, but it made it seem smaller since it was just jumping a small in height dirt island.

Cows go moo, dogs bark and disgruntled monster jam "fans" nice lady after the conclusion of another world finals. It embarrasses me to think that I get put into the same category of as some of you people. The tracks was fine and was better laid out then previous years, trucks just did not hold together and some had bad bounces. It happens, what I refuse to get on board with is the notion that this show was worse then wf15. Talking out of your ass is difficult when your sitting down though so whatever.

And Tyler stop trying to play innocent bystander, your posts were intended to stir poo. Had I been at home (and you know, not at the show), I would have deleted several of your posts.

how was it actually being there?

  10. People will come back, i would go next year if i could. Honestly, ive gotten to the point where i dont care who wins anymore. At the end of the day, its still  a show for entertainment. People want to see it be an actual motorsport. We all on here and many fans see it as a motorsport. If people went for the show, they would applaud when someone flips or crashes 30 seconds in. The world finals is supposed to be as big as it gets, but the drivers cant go that big and survive it. We look back and remember past world finals as being better. We dont remember the first 13 trucks going out and wimping over the racing stack. It seems we expect everyone to be able to pull off a wow factor every moment of the run. Its possible, and with the track layout, its unlikely. A winning run equals broken parts and that means luck if they can last. Marc was one of the few trucks that didnt break and lasted a long time. But his run was sort of slow and bland. I rely on racing as the only real competition left. Its actually based on talent and not based on an opinion of what is better,
