  1. I can't take credit for it this year but I'm glad it has continued on without me haha
  2. Dear lord the new Monster Jam site is a cluttered mess and a CSS nightmare. Half the code renders differently for different browsers so the viewing experience is totally inconsistent. The tickets page is the worst setup of all.
  3. I do not know a thing about how any of this stuff works. I feel so old. I could at least bs my way through using BinEdit and Traxx back in the day. Purple box ramps everywhere!
  4. Great job. Just downloaded it and took a quick spin and I enjoyed it. Truck is maybe a little too loose and leans a bit more than it should but otherwise I think it's good. I agree with Mark that the rims are too dark, they're more of a medium grey. Otherwise really well done. Thanks for making it.
  5. Crusher is completely a company truck. Randy's also a fly in now so he's not having to run the rig, maintain the trucks, etc. As for the copying of likenesses, it's probably not worth the headache to them since Monster X is such a small player and Monster Jam pretty much dominates the industry. I do find it funny though that the people that own the right's to the Doom video game are reportedly trying to block the trademark of Doom's Day.
  6. One of these days I'll make it up to one of the VMS mud races. Never fails though the events are always on weekends where I'm working. I really wish they'd set the place up to hold a full on monster truck event though. The speedway had some awesome shows years ago but for whatever reason they stopped doing the shows.
  7. Somebody inform Duhon of this. I think he'd be quite surprised to learn he won a wheelie contest in Melbourne when he's not there. And yeah not to pile on but Lee's always been a stout racer. He's a good driver in general. Well rounded and can win in racing or freestyle at any show if the bounces go his way. Am I not watching the same run here? I watched the afternoon freestyle and it really wasn't all that exciting. I wouldn't consider that unbelievable or a career best. Not knocking Buetow at all here, sometimes you gotta drive smarter overseas with limited parts and time between shows.
  8. It was on the original Brutus chassis (Spike this first quarter). Cory showed me a couple photos of the new chassis build and I'll be very interested to see the completed piece. Considering how stout Koehler's piece is you could probably drop the new truck out of a plane and it'd hold up.
  9. I forgot which number it is specifically in the fleet. I want to say C-31 or C-32. If I remember correctly it was previously the Air Force/Monster Energy chassis that Damon drove before it went to JP. I very well could be wrong on that one though.
  10. Maybe the seat is just in there for general use, but that looks to be a Butler seat. How many company drivers use them over the ISP? Might be able to shorten the list a tad as to who it's going to.
  11. I might have to consider going up a bit. The $200ish range was more what I was willing to spend vs what I could spend. I'm just trying to be somewhat responsible with spending. Being an adult is lame sometimes.
  12. Just curious if anyone else here is playing beyond 1080p/1200p for Rigs and would have a recommendation for a video card around $200ish? I've had a 32 inch BenQ monitor at 1440p for a little while now and got by without much issue but some of the newer trucks and tracks are making a serious hit on my framerate with most of the eye candy toned down. Basically I'd like to get something better at handling the newer stuff without going too extreme. I would also like to get a card that could drive three displays for regular use, but only need single display for gaming. Here's my current specs if that helps at all: CPU: AMD FX-8320 Motherboard: ASUS M5A-99FX Pro R2.0 RAM: 16GB DDR3 1600mhz Corsair Graphics Card: MSI Radeon 7700HD Storage: 500gb Samsung 840 EVO 2x WD 2TB hdd 2x WD 1.5TB hdd Power Supply: Corsair HD850 PSU Displays: BenQ 3210pt 2560 x 1440 Panasonic tc-p42st30 1920 x 1080
  13. I haven't been on instagram in a while. I should probably just post a Doom's Day picture to stir up the insanity.
  14. Another thing to consider, Rosalee probably won't get to do many shows because she's going to be in school. For those that may not know Rosalee is very intelligent and had opportunities to go to some of the top colleges in the country. Education for her is probably going to be the priority for the next few years.
  15. Pretty sure it was Greg's brother that drove Lumberjack this weekend.
  16. ^-This. I tried to get my camera wifi to cooperate with Nikon's terrible app on my phone to post taht shot but unfortunately that wasn't the case. When in a pinch, shoot the screen. Not ideal but it got the point across. It was pretty much one of the most entertaining monster truck races I've ever watched. Just wish Steven had eased up just a tad to get the truck pointed in the right direction so they could finish side by side. After reviewing the gopro in cab though it all happened so fast and I don't know if he realized Runte was right there.
  17. Dan Runte had a death in the family so Larry was brought in.
  18. Deuce has had a number of hard wrecks in that truck and a number of failed backflops that have done a number to it sadly. I don't know if her's has been retired but I could see some of the wrecks taking a toll. From what I was told a couple weeks ago Lupe's chassis was retired. That thing was in bad shape. Unfortunately the old silver Batman chassis that Seasock ran got retired and is sitting out back of the Dungeon. It's in great shape, I honestly couldn't see anything wrong with it. From what I understand the company is going to be retiring chassis after about five years of use.
  19. I don't post on sim monsters often, but it was worth signing in to salute you for posting Novelists. Wasn't expecting to see that on here. Love those Frenchies
  20. Charlotte looks pretty sweet. It's probably too late but if you want any reference photos from down on the track itself I've got some.
  21. If it was replicated correctly I wouldn't have said anything. I'm not tryin to be condescending, just offering some insight since I was at the event and walked the entire track. Like I said before, the scale of the track is way off. The racing lanes are way too long, the ramp placements aren't right and most of them aren't the right angles.
  22. The scale of the track is pretty off and visually doesn't look much like Virginia Beach. There's a lot of simple things that could've been done to really improve this as a replica. I applaud you trying to make the track though and did enjoy it. I've got some photos that might be of use if anyone would like references.
  23. I don't know how close to a realistic rep you're trying to make so don't take this too harshly, but the proportions for the track are way off. The pit side dumpsters should be way closer to the first racing hills. The distance between the first jump and the cars is too long. The the far bus stack isn't agnled, it's straight and pretty much in line with the other bus stack. The one hill near the stands needs to be closer to the racing lane as well.
