    Monster Jam

    - After months of waiting, Marvel monster trucks have finally been revealed! We have confirmed 4 trucks that are set to debut at the London event on July 15th! These include Iron Man, The Amazing Spider-Man, Thor, and the all new Black Panther monster truck! Iron Man will be piloted by Brandon Arthur, Spider-Man will be piloted by Bernard Lyght, Thor will be piloted by Myranda Cozad, and Black Panther will be piloted by Bari Musawwir.

    - Two more champions have been crowned this past week! Weston Anderson claims his second consecutive series championship during the Baltimore event and Tristan England claims his third series win during the Colorado Springs event. With all the Arena champions crowned, the only tours that have yet to crown a champion are both Stadium tours, which are starting to come to a close. Stadium Championship Series Red heads to Foxborough, MA, for the last points event before the championship event next week in East Rutherford. Stadium Championship Series Blue heads to Salt Lake City, UT, for the last points event before the championship event next week in Kansas City, MO.

    - The International Tour headed to Johannesburg for an amazing event! Tony Ochs would win Racing, while Charlie Pauken would win Skills and Freestyle, with a perfect consecutive backflip!

    Monster Jam

     "Mike" Pagliarulo filled in for Mike Christensen this week as Stadium Championship Series Red stopped at Atlanta Motor Speedway for a pair of events. Show 1 saw Tom Meents winning Racing, and Camden Murphy taking Skills, Bryce would take home another Freestyle win, which in turn gave him his second Overall Event Championship this season. Show 2 saw Adam take home Racing, Freestyle, and the Overall, with Todd Leduc winning Skills. The series takes has an off-week, and will return to action next week on May 6th, in Foxborough, MA.

    - Stadium Championship Series Blue stopped in Reno, NV for a quartet of non-point events. This would also be the beginning of Coty Saucier's journey in El Toro Loco for the remainder of the tour. Tyler Menninga continues to dominate arenas, taking all four Overall Event wins! The only other winners were Coty with a Donut win at Show 2, Cory Rummell with a Skills win at Show 3, and John Gordon with a Donut win at Show 4. The series resumes this week at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, CA on April 29th.

    - Brandon Vinson has etched himself as the first of 24 competitors announced for Monster Jam World Finals XXII! The Defending Monster Jam World Finals Racing Champion was able to clinch the win after the first show in Green Bay last week. This week, the series stopped in Columbia, SC for the first-to-last event on the tour. Our boy @JonnyZimmer claimed all four Overall Event wins, dominating all three shows, sweeping Show 2. Both Brandon Vinson and Brandan Tulachka were able to snag Timed Racing wins in Shows 1 & 3. The series stops in Evansville for three more shows, before the series ends!

    - Arena Championship Series East stopped in Hamilton, ON for 4 amazing shows! Wins were shared between Weston Anderson and Armando Castro, with Bernard Lyght taking home a Timed Racing win in Shows 1 & 3, and Dalton Widner taking home a Timed Racing win in Show 4. The series heads to Baltimore, MD for another four shows.

    - History was etched into the Moody Center history books, as Monster Jam visited the arena for a pair of non-point events for Arena Championship Series West! A surprise fill-in appearance saw Zombie driver Bari Musawwir return to his rookie roots, as he drove El Toro Loco for an absent Elvis Lainez. Tristan England would completely sweep Show 1, but Show 2 saw Bari Musawwir take the Timed Racing & Donuts win, Krysten Anderson took home Skills, Freestyle, and the Overall Event win. The series picks back up this week at Colorado Springs, CO for a quartet of events.

    - The International Tour returned back to action, as the tour headed to Cape Town in South Africa for one spectacular event! Tony Ochs took home Racing, Skills, and Overall, while Myranda Cozad took home her first Freestyle win of the season, with an amazing freestyle run. The tour stays in South Africa, as they head to Johannesburg on April 29th.

     

    Independent

    - Triple B Motorsports unveiled a brand new Monster Patrol design, celebrating the trucks 30th anniversary! The truck, driven by Austin Tweedy, made it's debut at Grand Forks, ND for the Toughest Monster Truck Tour last week, returning back to its iconic black and green scheme.

  3. A lot has happened since the last post, so let's dive into the news!!

    Monster Jam

    - Arena Championship Series Central comes to a close this week at The Resch Center, April 14th-16th, @JonnyZimmer currently places 2nd, just 71 points behind Brandon Vinson. Will the reigning World Finals Racing Champion take home the series again, or will the 2022 Co-Rookie of The Year take home his first Series Championship?

    - Stadium Championship Series Blue returned to action last week two weeks ago in Seattle, Washington, with an action-packed night, the series heads to State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona this week for a one-night event.

    - Shaker and Bad Company debuted brand new designs in Seattle, with Bad Company sporting a new jet black and neon orange design, and Shaker debuting a new camo/metallic design.

    - Stadium Championship Series Red also returned to action two weeks ago in Syracuse, New York, with Bryce Kenny getting his first overall event win! Nick Pagliarulo would win freestyle with an amazing opening run, staying on top of the leaderboard for the entire competition. The series heads to Lincoln Financial Field this week in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania for a one-night event.

     

    Independent

    - As teased on Instagram, one of Triple B's trucks is set to debut another new design. A new Black Dodge Ram body for Bear Foot had already debuted earlier this year, so the news is bringing up lots of speculation as to what truck is receiving the new design, as well as what it will look like

    - Rampage is back! The truck (Now owned by Trantina) is set to debut at the Outlaw Monster Truck Drags, with Austin Tweedy behind the wheel.

    - After being on hold for nearly four years (With a finished render revealed last year), Big Kahuna is coming back this week! The truck is set to debut in Harrison, Arkansas at the Monster Truck Insanity Tour.

    Monster Jam

    - Todd Leduc finally got his first freestyle win in Jacksonville last week, as well as Travis Mowery getting his first racing win of the season in Velociraptor! Stadium Championship Series Red heads to Orlando for a single-header event!

    - After the inclusion of Overall Event winners starting in 2017, Flyin Ryan had been chasing the dream of winning an Overall Event Championship, that dream finally came true on February 25th, in El Paso, when he was able to place himself in the top 5 for all three competitions! Stadium Championship Series Blue heads to Arlington for a single-header event!

    - Speaking of Stadium Championship Series Blue, it would appear that Mark List has been removed from the image of the tour lineup on Monster Jam's website. Charlie Pauken has been driving since the fourth Anaheim show of the tour, and El Paso, as well as the upcoming Arlington event. Chelsea VanCleave will be piloting the truck for Nampa, Vancouver, and Seattle. Mark is listed to compete in all events after Glendale, but this is yet to be confirmed.

    - More fall events have been announced for Quarter 2, including a surprise stop at Savannah, Georgia at the Enmarket Arena (Which is home to me haha)!

    The Monster Jam All Star Challenge is back!
    Sorta....


    Dubbed The "SuperStar Challenge", the event will take place at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, California, in November.

    Two teams will battle head-to-head in Racing, Best Trick, and Freestyle!

    This is an event nobody will want to miss! 

  8. Since January is pretty much almost over, figure it's time to take a look back at Month 1 of the 2023 Monster Truck Season! (Yes this will be a regular thing)
     

    Monster Jam

    - After a disappointing start in Oakland thanks to a blown motor, Tom Meents is quickly picking the pace back up in Max-D XX. Tom stands at 117 points, currently tied for third with Bryce Kenny in Great Clips Mohawk Warrior, as Stadium Championship Series Red heads to Miami this week for two action-packed shows!

    - Tyler Menninga continues to dominate his tour in Grave Digger, as he's grabbing multiple competition and overall event wins like there's no tomorrow. Ryan Anderson is not too far behind, with a 35-point deficit. Stadium Championship Series Blue heads to Houston this week for two Texas-style Throwdowns!

    - "Teeny" continues to do what he does best, as he dominates his series through month 1. Arena Championship Series East heads to Newark this week with four shows!

    - The reigning World Finals Racing Champion surprises nobody, as he continues to holds the lead in his series, battling the likes of Coty Saucier, and Tony Ochs. Arena Championship Series Central heads to The US capitol for three action-packed shows!

    - After taking a week off, Arena Championship Series West heads to Sacramento for three shows! Elvis Lainez leads in points, with reigning Arena Championship Series West Champion, Krysten Anderson, in fourth place.

    - Matt Cody joins FELD Motorsports, after crewing with Vaters Motorsports for 13 years, driving Grave Digger on the International Tour

    - It seems like Monster Jam is bringing in new drivers left and right, as Chelsea VanCleave will make her Monster Jam competition debut in February, driving Blue Thunder & Zombie (For South Africa) for the International Tour! 

    - Trophy Truck Driver Brandon Arthur will also make his Monster Jam competition debut in February, driving El Toro Loco for the International Tour!

    - Myranda Cozad moves to Monster Mutt Dalmatian for the International Tour, after piloting Scooby-Doo! for nearly five years.

    - Brittany Marcotte moves to Scooby-Doo! for the International Tour, after piloting Zombie for three years.

    - Charlie Pauken found himself a spot in the International Tour as well, shelving Monster Mutt once again to drive Megalodon!

     

    Independent World

    - Trantina's Bear Foot debuted a brand new body and scheme for 2023! The truck now sports a 4th Generation Dodge Ram, with a slick black paint scheme, which some may faintly remember from the early 2000s.

    - Jerry Beck debuted his third race truck, called "Maximus" at Rio Rancho for Toughest Monster Truck Tour, with Daron Basl as the main driver!

    - After going on hiatus for nearly two years, Kevin King returns to the monster truck world! He will be piloting Quad Chaos for Triple B Racing at select All Star Monster events, with his first event being this week in Norman Park.

    - Cory Snyder in Toxic leads the 2023 All Star Monster Truck Championship Series heading into Norman Park!

     

     

  9. Well, we are finally in 2023, and oh boy, have lots of things changed. (How I have been keeping up with these threads, I have no idea lol)

    With this in hand, let's dive right in and start with the Monster Jam World!!

     

    Monster Jam

    - After many, many months of waiting. ThunderROARus has finally been revealed. The "Apex Predator" made it's debut yesterday night at SnapDragon Stadium in San Diego, CA. Colt Stephens will drive the truck on Stadium Championship Series Blue, while Tony Ochs will pilot a second ThunderROARus on the Soldier Fortune Black Ops chassis for Arena Championship Series Central. It was also shown that the mouth of the truck has an opening mechanism that will be displayed for pit parties, and closed for better vision in competition.

    - Iconic country duo LOCASH will perform on stage at Monster Jam World Finals XXII as a halftime show.

     

    Next up is the independent world!!

    Independent World

    - James Trantina III has been making quite alot of noise in the industry for the past few months. He has purchased the following: Ice Cream Man name and chassis (From RKMT), and both RKMT PEI chassis that recently ran as Razin Kane and FTI Torque, leaving JR with the old display truck (Better known as the OG Razin Kane chassis). USA-1 has also debuted a new Chevy C-10 body for the 2023 season. Bear Foot is also set to debut a new scheme sometime soon. 

    - Joe Urie has returned back to the monster truck world, after his career was put on halt during the 2020 season. He will be piloting Ice Cream Man for Triple B Motorsports.

    - Rookie driver Tommy Varilone (Known for driving Hang Loose for Monster Truckz) will be the new driver of Lone Wolf for Triple B, due to Tanner competing overseas for HWMTL.

    - Team Throttle Monster are officially the new owners of the Jurassic Attack name. The name had recently been a partnership with Don Frankish and Team Throttle for the last two years.

    - Mike Harper has also made quite alot of noise in the independent world as well, purchasing Split Personality, Reptoid, Turbulence, and Black Gold.

    - Speaking of Monster Truck Wars, our boy @Preston Pérez will be piloting a second Outlaw on the PEI Toxic chassis.

    - Due to the Razin Kane chassis being sold to Trantina, Buddy Tompkins has joined the Robbins team! He will be piloting both Krazy Train and Plane Krazy for the 2023 All Star Monster Truck Tour Championship Series, until the new RKMT trucks are ready.

    - Jerry Beck has purchased a new Eddie chassis, expanding Badlands Racing to three race trucks (Dirt Crew, Dozer, and the new Eddie chassis). This new truck is set to debut at Rio Rancho, NM, for the opener event of Toughest Monster Truck Tour.

    - Obsession racing has acquired a new CRD chassis, after the old DKP chassis was sold off to become the race truck version of The Veteran. It is unknown when the new truck will be ready.

    - Double Action Motorsports is currently working on a brand new tractor monster truck, as a teammate to Devastator, it is set to debut sometime later in 2023.

  10. Lot's of new stuff, so let's dive right into it.

    In The Monster Jam World

    - Former FTI Torque driver Jamie Sullivan has joined FELD Motorsports. She will be driving Monster Mutt Dalmatian on Arena Championship Series Central.

    - Another newcomer, Ashley Sanford, will drive Megalodon on Arena Championship Series West.

    - Frank Krml will be piloting Stone Crusher on Arena Championship Series East, alongside teammate Chad Tingler, who will drive Zombie on the Hooked chassis.

    - Jamey Garner will be driving El Toro Loco on his Over Bored chassis for Stadium Championship Series Red.

    - David Olfert has been moved to Arena Championship Series West, with Travis Mowery taking David's place on Stadium Championship Series Red.

    - Hunter Souza will be driving EarthShaker on his Wrecking Machine chassis, as the teammate to Dalton Widner's Jurassic Attack.

    - Todd Leduc will be driving Megalodon on Stadium Championship Series Red.

    - Joe Foley and Chris Koehler will be making their First Quarter Monster Jam Debuts! Joe will be driving Axe on his Koehler chassis, while Chris will be driving Monster Mutt on the Brutus chassis.

    - Colt Stephens will be the final slot on Stadium Championship Series Blue piloting the new ThunderROARus.

    - Travis Mowery's Velociraptor will have a blue shell, with green teeth and nails.

    - Charlie Pauken will move to the international tour, leaving Monster Mutt (and Rottie) to drive Megalodon.

     

    In The Independent World

    - Trantina has bought the Quad Chaos/Holeshot name and body from Jerry Beck, and is expected to announce more arrivals into the stable soon.

    Yeah, Trantina said he had two new trucks planning on debuting for next year, most likely they're the old Razin' Kane and FTI chassis.
