  1. Well, it's official.... I just bought tickets to the World Finals. It will be my first time going and I am honestly very excited. I've never seen a monster truck show outside of Toronto so it will be a lot of fun to see the show over there. Now it's just figuring the trip over there. Bought the Down Down tickets just for the fun of it. I'm about row 25 section 107, pretty decent seats and right about in the middle. Should have a good view of everything.
  2. I went on ticket master to buy tickets for Sat and Sun (I always go both shows) here in Toronto and noticed a few things. For one, low row seating on the bottom level is only All Access Pass or VIP, starting at $140. There is only a few standard left, Ticketmaster is showing it's getting sparse for seating at the bottom level and in many sections nearly sold out already. The bare few in the middle bottom of the stadium are $85. I'm sure that's over $20 of an increase. Monster Jam better put in a little more to the shows for that much more money. I decided to go for row 1 2nd level near the middle of the floor both days, can't go wrong for the price and the view. Whats up with Cam's schedule this year? It's awful, and missing the only big stadium show in Canada, being Toronto. Again Monster Jam what are you doing? Final thing, what happened to Vancouver, is it not happening this year?
  3. So Toronto's Sunday show was pretty good, some great racing and freestyle. Rod put on one of the best freestyles I have ever seen him do in person or on video with a great save. I was amazed he was even able to make it out after a spectacular wreck in racing. The overall freestyle show was good but a bit of a mixed bag. Tough luck for Ryan with some motor issues, seemed to be stuck in first gear and the throttle seemed to be jamming. After getting some air or moving around the RPMs would stay the same. That setup he has got really loud with the continuous throttle on like that. He also spend a lot of time on two wheels showing off some skills. Really impressed With Steven Thompson's run, some huge jumps and great momentum. Cam had a good freestyle but with some issues as well. Truck shut off on him once. Pulled off a crazy backflip but landed a little funky and was unable to save it, he rev'ed the engine only to get high RPMs and no power to the wheels. I'll post some of my images later on in the week. Not my photo:
  4. Rage will not be returning to Toronto for the Sunday show. Confirmed via AllMonster on Twitter. John Killinger(?) was driving Wrecking Crew Saturday night, Corey will be taking his place for the Sunday show.
  5. Video showing a little bit from Toronto, shows Rod's crazy donuts and the only good freestyle. Video does not show Cam's first big jump.
  6. Toronto was a total bust for Sarurday night. Less than half the field of trucks even completed a freestyle run, it was 6 or 7 trucks to do a full freestyle run out of 16. Grave Digger pretty much won racing by default as Trent in BH cut out on the first turn. Cam had one good jump, broke on the 2nD Ryan run was really good, but nothing big or even a wow moment. Edited Adam to Ryan Im going to the Sunday show as well like I do every year, here's hoping to a better show!
  7. Are they just for the pit party or are they incorporated into part of the show? First time I'm seeing or hearing of these things.
  8. Adam has a surprise in Toronto, calling it the Son-Uva-Digger Rocket. Seen on Facebook Edit: A Grave Digger one can be seen as well in Rod's Facebook post.
  9. Team Scream in Toronto with the sweet looking new Rage chassis!
  10. Toronto track is looking sweet, typical back flip ramp at one end too.
  11. Whats with so many shows having uneven numbers? Just about half or more of the shows from the 15th-17th of January have an uneven line-up. Will there be a truck added to even things out or is FELD sticking with some uneven numbers?
  12. Noticed one thing weird on the MJ schedule that has puzzled me a little. For the Maple Leaf MonsterJam Tour BOTH London and Vancouver are on the same weekend of February 27th. However, Vancouver on the MJ site is listed as a regular MonsterJam and not "Maple Leaf MonsterJam Tour." It's obvious those dates are final and both those shows are going to happen on the same weekend, but do you think it's an error on the site that Vancouver is only listed as a regular MJ and not part of the Canadian tour? Seems weird to me that they would do things differently for that one Canadian stop after a few years of the Canadian tour stopping there.
  13. Can't even get them to open. I put the zip file in the file with all the other trucks, and I get an error message saying that monsterstart.wav (or something close to that) cannot be found. I tried dumping the zip file's contents into the monster truck folder and got the same result. I read in the comments of the download file that i need a certain sound pack. Where can that be found? I cannot seem to find it and am pretty sure that is the likely problem. Thanks for your help!
  14. Where do you get that dashboard (HUD?) and how would it be installed?

  17. *good footage starts around 1:20 wonder where this is going to take the sport? looks like it needs work and tweaking, but WOW! incredible innovation right there. maybe 3 coil shocks per arm may help with handling and the landings?

    v1

the VERY first monster truck pack for rigs of rods is STILL available on the repository, i saw it on there yesterday the trucks are immensely different in both handling and overall look (you have to see them to understand what i mean), if i remember correctly, the physics changed significantly in v3, however, there may have been small on the previous, i cannot be sure nor do i remember do not ask me to send them to you, they are quite easy to find on the repository with logical searching
  19. arent these the ones that are just RWD? you would be better off with the wheelie king if you wanted a r/c monster truck
  20. huh? i never mentioned Wolo, nor am i interested in his truck packs i do believe its a bigger problem than just "rearranging" as i clearly stated in the original post, being, cleaning all RoR related content off the computer, restarting the computer, and re-installing a fresh version of 0.27.126 where did the Wolo thing come from?
  21. funny, how this turned into a random talk about your RoR problems thread....... did NONE of you read what I wrote? smooth guys, real smooth
