Tire Problem.

Nathan H.

Question

All of my trucks that use BKT Tires don't load with the tire textures. However, If I use fluffy BKT trucks they do load with textures. Is there any way of fixing this? MY tires on all of my GD 30's and Trucks like Max-D, Sonuva Diggger, or Perpetual Destruction show up with solid Black tires. Please, is there any way to fix this? Also, whenever I download a track and put it in my packs folder and then regen my cache, the new tracks never show up. It didn't use to do this.

First, that problem has happened to me as well. What's always worked for me is trying to take out a new truck, like you said fluffy for example, out of the vehicles folder. For some reason certain trucks interfere with other ones, so keep removing the files of the new trucks that you added around the time this happened. Second, I usually put my tracks in the terrain folder, but that shouldn't matter too much. Make sure it's .4 compatible

I put all of my stuff in the packs folder because I don't have a terrains folder. And, does that mean I basically can't use my new trucks? Mr.Self Destruct told me it was some lag overload problem but Idk how to fix that.

  • Move your vehicles to the vehicles folder.
  • Make sure there are no folders in the vehicles folder.
  • Terrains don't go in the terrains folder in 0.4.6 anyway.
  • Don't count the lag overload thing anymore.

Well, I'm forced to create a folder inside my vehicle folder because I usually take all of my V4 files out of the .zip and put them in the vehicles folder.

Smasher, as for the solid black tire thing, it's a 4.0 exclusive problem. Everyone that plays 4.0 knows that problem. I dunno if it can be fixed or not.

Go into Rigs of Rods 0.4.

Click "vehicles"

Copy-paste your vehicles in there.

Delete the folders.

I run Rigs of Rods 0.4 so I should know. DON'T DELETE THESE FOLDERS!!!!!
