Mark Colineri
Take a look at what the Rigs Of Rods team are doing. These are leaps and bounds further than what we have at the present moment. Edited June 8, 2013 by Mark Colineri

NavySonicShell
Pretty much, .4 is an unfinished version that was released to keep people from begging for it from what i can tell.
Mark Colineri
Take a look at the FPS. Also, they have made it possible to have many more heavily taxing models/beam structures ingame without lag.
Team Destruction
I should really get this version cause I always have low FPS and this really looks neat.

Mark Colineri
The point is the game can run at a much lower FPS while still being very smooth.
liquidfire215
It appears to be smoother due to running very slowly, look at the timer for example, do a normal stop watch vs the ingame time. Technically it appears to be smoother, its just making sure its drawing all frames to before updating time rather than having a continuous real timer.
