That would explain why it can't land a backflip.

If you use automatic, then backflips are harder to do, but if you use manual, they're easy as long as you stay in the current gear you're in

How do you change gears again? Also, I'm pretty sure I use manual.

press Q, all trucks default to automatic, press Q once to change your gears from automatic to manual
