Well I would like to thank everyone for coming out. I think we had a great event, and I think next week will go off without any problems. Going forward I am hoping to keep freestyle lenient, but likely somewhat stricter than tonight. I don't plan on any of the tracks to allow for the same moves that you all did tonight so there won't be much lost by it. I want to congratulate @JonnyZimmer2 for his Double Down tonight. Maybe a sign of things to come this season. However there are many competitors that did a great job in freestyle. I think the points series is going to be competitive this year and I'm looking forward to seeing how it turns out. Hey I just updated the NAMT versions to get rid of the countersteer. Redownload for the new version!

I've converted @Double.D ッ 's Motorsports Pack to be a standalone .4 pack. I also added a NAMT version that you guys can use. If you do not change the shocks2 settings, they are all approved to run. So if you still need a truck for NAMT, feel free to use any of these. I may be converting some more open customs if I have the time and feel it's necessary.

Aaron Lurie has provided a great track for us to race at, and it should give you all a good taste of the type of tracks to expect from NAMT this season. So far out of the 33 sign-ups, 13 are approved to race, 6 require edits and resubmission, and 13 have not been sent to me. So @Ghostx mapped this great XJ Jeep body that @Andrew made, and I felt like trying to make a custom. I ended up making two teammate trucks. Still a WIP, gotta fix some props lining up and other odds and ends. I'll try to get this uploaded before NAMT starts so people can have some open customs to run. Oh and a piece of trivia if you can figure out what truck I got the surfboard from. "Hey don't you have tracks to work on???"

Just a note for everyone, be sure you have permission to run a custom before you sign-up. If it says private/personal custom, you need to ask the creator to use it.

NAMT is running all custom tracks at replica stadiums. The tracks are being made new for the league.

Changed requirements for limiting straps. They are now optional: shocks (limiting straps) (optional) ;limiting straps 22, 44, 0, 0, 1.0, 0.1, x, i 39, 4, 0, 0, 1.0, 0.1, x, i 30, 69, 0, 0, 1.0, 0.1, x, i 11, 64, 0, 0, 1.0, 0.1, x, i x - precomp, adjust as necessary. Suggested range is between .75 - 1.0, but values may vary depending on your node beam. This is an optional modification for your truck, consider testing with and without it and decide for yourself if you want to use them.

Alright, after some thought and consideration I have decided to require limiting straps on all trucks running in NAMT. The required edits can be seen in the rule book or in the NAMT 2018 Custom Truck Modification Rules thread. Additionally, I have redone the way points will be allotted during events. The updates can, once again, be seen in the rule book, but I will also post them here. Going forward you will be scored out of 50, as was planned, but you will earn points for the event based on where you finish. Racing Competition: Winner: +16 Points Final Round Loser: +15 Points Round 3 Loser: +12 Points Round 2 Loser: +8 Points Round 1 Loser: +4 Points Freestyle Competition: Winner: +16 Points 2nd: +15 Points ...etc... 16th: +1 Point Points allotted to a driver will depend on their placement after each event from 16 to 1. In the event of a tie, all tied drivers will earn the same amount of points. The next driver that is not tied will earn the amount of points they would have earned had all drivers ahead of them had not tied. The NAMT settings actually are the SMRA settings, just with the addition of the changes to the commands2 lines.
