  1. Not many sponsors at all, the logos are just big.
  2. Definitely like Tropical Thunder more and War Eagle looks good!
  3. Reminds me sort of like the old Obsession body in a way, of course I like it haha
  4. I don't think adding a password is a good idea... It's not right to limit some people to not getting to see one of the most popular threads on this site. We are trying to progress this site back into the active community that it once was, and by limiting the SYP thread to only certain members, It would make them want to be less active on SM most likely.
  5. Everybody please take five minutes out of your day to read this. This is something that I typed up and needs to be said to all of us here on SM. Alright, I have sat back here for quite a while now and have tried to keep my mouth shut, but enough is enough... When are many of you guys ever going to grow up and treat this community with the respect that it deserves? When will you guys leave your childishness and child like comments behind? When will you guys read even the basic rules we have here and respect them? I am getting tired and beyond annoyed with how child like some of you guys are. It is complete Bull sh*t that you guys are on most of these threads name calling, insulting each other, leaving child like one word responses, failing to follow the simple rules of replying, and the list goes on and on. Take Show Your Projects for example, when I first joined this and the RoR community, I used to get pretty damn excited when I saw that there was a new post in the SYP thread because that meant that I was most likely in for some new and exciting content, projects that stepped up the game and set standards for future content. But that was back when we as a community made content to try and innovate this game to the potential that we knew it had, but now I go into the SYP thread and all I see are pages on top of pages of people arguing and only one or two projects… And even then, those projects are jeopardized and put on halt because the content creators are feeling rushed from every person asking when it will be released and demanding it to be released soon. The problem there isn’t even so much that people are asking for it to be released but rather it’s that the people asking for it are the same people who have never made content before… People that just don’t understand how much actual hard work it takes to make these things. People that just don’t appreciate the value of how hard and how long it takes to make this content. You guys want something so badly? Learn how to make it yourself if you can’t wait… Just because somebody is making something, try and rival it and make it better! That’s how we got here with all this amazing content. A few years ago, I always used to give Klayton a hard time and try to challenge him in track making and stuff. Even though I never came close to how nice his content was, at least I was out there trying, and that is what this community needs. We need people that are working and creating new content, not people who are going to sit back and think that they are entitled to everything being made and pester the content creators so much that they don’t even want to make stuff anymore… Guys, when you ask all the time when stuff will be released, It really gets to people that are making content… it honestly makes it not fun for us. Understand? Guys, you REALLY need to shape up before this community becomes a complete ghost town. We used to have so many damn amazing content creators that there was almost an unlimited amount of things we could use in the game whether it be tracks, trucks, paints, props, etc… We used to have so many people that there were HUGE packs being released of trucks, crazy and exciting custom and replica tracks, but now what do we have…? A couple Diggers, a couple Max-D’s, and a couple other trucks on Show Your Projects? I don’t mean that as in insult in the slightest to anybody making those trucks because they really are awesome, but the point is that your awesome work is ALL that we have left now because our community is just being overrun with immature people, and that HAS to change if you guys want any future here. I miss seeing Klaytons trucks and tracks, Johans amazing custom paint jobs, Kozaks crazy but awesome Canadian beasts, etc… Imagine how advanced we could be right now with all this content… It’s a damn shame we will never find out though due to premature people bringing this site down. Just please please please, read/follow the rules, don’t ask when things will be released, and RESPECT EACH OTHER!
  6. No need to throw anybody under the bus. Can simply say Trent has moved on, no need to poke a bear or play the I know more than you card. No need to say no one wants to hire him...
  7. Yes, a cutout windshield helps the visibility greatly. The lexan often times is rather difficult to see out of and can also fog up, get very dirty, and scratched up all of which reduce visibility, so by cutting it out, It allows the drivers to see better.
  8. ***VERY IMPORTANT***** It appears that some a-hole stole Donald's firesuit along with some crew shirts in Salinas this past weekend. If any of you come across a Titan firesuit and or a few crew shirts for sale online, please contact the Titan facebook page or Donald's personal page if you have him as a friend.
  9. No offense, but I don't find that funny at all. Coming from a crew and drivers perspective, that was one of the scariest hits I have ever seen in a monster truck and Mikey is very lucky to have gotten out of that as he did. Even though he avoided serious injury, that is still an incredibly hard hit. You have 10,000 pounds landing upside down with no give in the cage... That hurts... As for the Obsession camp in the YGS... Unfortunately we had transmission issues in Obsessed during the YGS which made Eric stuck in high gearing causing it to be very difficult to get off the line which in the end resulted in a first round loss to Becky (congrats to her for doing very well this year)
  10. Why can we not just say congratulations to Mikey... He had an amazing and solid run. This guy is a helluva driver who pays out of pocket and works on his own truck to keep it maintained to put on a great show for the fans. How would you feel if you worked your ass off day in and day out to get told by people you didn't deserve it. How about not only getting invited to the BIGGEST monster truck show, but WINNING freestyle at the biggest monster truck show and getting told you didn't deserve it. What about paying out of your own paycheck to absolutely destroy your truck for the fans and then have those same fans tell you that your run shouldn't have won. Overkill is one the most beautiful trucks out there and that team runs their stuff very hard and works even harder to keep their stuff maintained, clean, and beautiful looking. The least you can do if you don't agree with the judging is tip your cap to these hard working people and move on. Coming from an independent team, I know how much blood, sweat, hard work, time away from home, and money is behind each and every trophy. I FULLY understand that people have their own opinions on things, but don't take anything away from Mikey, the Vaters team, or family. They have all made incredible sacrifices to get to the World Finals and go all out for the fans, just be respectable and congratulate him on being a champion.
  11. No... What we need to do is thank all those people who put so much of their time into the trucks that we DO have. Lets be thankful for what those hard working people have done for us and appreciate all the amazing content this site does offer us.
  12. This morning I awoke to the very sad news that my very good friend, Lloyd Massey, was killed after getting struck by a car. For those that don't know who he is, Lloyd was the announcer for WGAS, the promoter who I and the Obsession Racing team work with a countless number of times a year. Every race I went to with Lloyd, he was always there with the biggest smile on his face and was somebody whos body language showed that he truly loved his job.He truly was an amazing person and the definition of a kind human being. Lloyd and I were very close and I am beyond saddened to hear about his tragic passing. The memories that we have made will certainly be held onto forever and something I will never forget. I am beyond lucky to have known this amazing person and even luckier to call him a friend. R.I.P Lloyd Massey, Godspeed my friend.
