  1. I made them steep on purpose so that you can't launch off of them and actually have to roll them like they were doing at this show. This is going to be a replica of the 91 racetrack. I will be doing a fantasy freestyle track based off this also. The freestyle track will have better hills for big air so you can launch off them. This right here is the race track.
  2. So many awesome projects going on. Great work everyone, can't wait to play with some of this stuff. Here are some updated pics of my Silverdome project.
  3. When I get everything done I'm going to completely hollow it out. There will only be textures on what you see and there will be nothing behind it Another guy said that his tracks were between 2000 and 7000 triangles and this is slightly over two as it is right now with lots to delete. I don't plan on going over 3000 by the time it's done. I am definitely taking precautions to try and limit lag.
  4. Your track is looking good RockCrwlr. I can't wait to run on that track. Here are some updated pics of where mine is at. I can't wait to do the track on it.

    Hey Yo

I have been signed up for a while but just started getting involved in the last week. I am into anything mechanical or programmable and have been a monster truck fan since I was 4. I have been to almost every Silverdome show from 1988? through today. As far as I am concerned Monster Trucks are the greatest Motorsport ever. I will be making some tracks for ROR and maybe some trucks. I was an avid fan of the Monster Truck Madness games since the first one came out. I bought my own computer when I was in the seventh grade just to play Monster Truck Madness 1. I never got to play online and still haven't with ROR. I mainly just play around and do freestyles. Never figured out how to make tracks or trucks for MTM2 and was surprised at how easy it is for ROR. Expect some Big things from me in the future. My current Silverdome project can be viewed in Show us your projects chapter 7.
  6. I'm now learning how hard I made it. When I first started I didn't know the program helps you get your measurements right and was doing everything on my own. It's actually a lot easier than I thought it would be to build these and it would be a lot farther along if I knew half of what I do now when I started. I should go a lot quicker and easier next time I build one. Patience is definitly the key to building something like this though.lol
  7. It's really just going to be what you see in the current one with the parking lot, the pit area outside and access to the different levels. Not even double the ork of this one. And with what I learned on this one I can build it a whole lot simpler. Only one venue and one purpose built track ill be on it. The only track will be on the floor of the Silverdome. I'd like to be able to race go karts on the walkways on top of the stands and drive cars around the parking lot, basically have free roam on the place. Hopefully my new computer will be built soon and I won't have to worry about lag anymore.
  8. My next version of the Silverdome will need those details because I'm making it so you can roam and play in other areas with other vehicles besides just on the floor. I will be going into a little detail on the current one just to practice.
  9. Not bad. It'll be interesting to see when it's done. Google sucks for pics of the inside and has only a few good ones outside. Luckily I have been there a lot and have many personal pics to work with. Wait tiil you see the one I do after October 1st. I'm taking pics of everything I can and doing a super detailed one.
  10. I almost had to do that with mine. The floor is perfect but some of the lower level stuff is off slightly on the height and I don't think I'll have any problems using it. It's my first time using the program and I learned how to use it building this track. I haven't had to start over yet luckily.
  11. Finally back online again. Here are some updated pics of my Silverdome Project.
  12. I working on making a super realistic Pontiac Silverdome. Building this thing has become my new addiction.
  13. I've been there more times than I can count. I going to take a ton of pics in October at the next truck show so I can make this as detailed as possible. It is within 15 feet of being perfectly scsle and it's not enough to make me do a whole bunch of stuff over again. There will be little hidden things for those who roam around it. I have huge plans for this. More pics going up in the projects section.
  14. Never knew it existed. Look for it over there everyone.
  15. My first track project and it is the Pontiac Silverdome. I am trying to make it super realistic and scale down to the foot so you can jump out of your truck and wonder around the different levels and parking lot. Here are a few pics of it's progress so far.
  16. I'm guessing this is why I keep getting errors when I try to download stuff. How long do you think until I will be able to get this awesome stuff?
