I would like to make a request that the stadium floor would be unrealistically giant, kind of like this, but with a lot more obstacles for racing and freestyle than in the picture. (Credit to Mark for the track.)

Yes, because all you did was rename the .truck file, and you kept the paint for the body the same as the original truck. You need to either reclone everything, or import the mesh in blender, texture it with the new paint, and re export it.

That's a great looking custom, but how about a replica?

You probably want to make the "Let's Play" Logo on the top smaller, since it intersects with the Air Flow Visor on the back part of the roof, causing the texture to overlap. This body is very old, so there are a few problems with it.

The Green Star? That's where the cab and bed sides part, you put the star over both pieces in the template; If you fix the paint, (Like move the Star Closer to directly under the window,) Then I will replace it on the truck. If you do that, you will probably also want to make the logo on the roof smaller, because the Flow Visor on the roof will intercept the paint, and cause some of the lettering to appear on it.

Not the best request thread as far as specifics on what you wanted on the truck as far as props, but since you included the paint that you wanted, I thought I would do it for you real quick.

Yeah, google was probably not the best place to find them, atleast for version 2.49, because of all of the different plugins that are made for different versions.

Where are you getting your import/export plugins?

Uninstall blender, make sure you have no other duplicates of the program on your computer, and try it all again. That's all I can really tell you.

Make sure that you drag the scripts into Blender Foundation/Blender/.blender/scripts, and that they are in the .blender folder instead of the regular Blender folder.

Well that's obvious, but what makes you think he doesn't have all of them? Were you constantly demanding for them on AIM? In that case, I wouldn't have sent them to you either. Plus that was before Harlow said that anyone could have them. Tom is just protecting Harlow's stuff. Think before you speak, kid.
