    R/C pack v0.00001

       1,074    11

These are very nice, but I do have a suggestion to make, if it's not already been decided or so. Will these become a standalone product when it reaches full completion? I know that in order for these to work currently, you must set them in the SMV4 folder, and hopefully that can change. Other than that, keep up the great work!
EDIT: Okay, thanks to Michael10055 on RoR's main forum, he spotted what the two missing things were, and that was the GraveDiggerBand.dds & GraveDiggerBand.material.

  1. Yet another fine looking truck! Also, I saw what was added to this truck, and tbh, it's a very nice touch! I never thought I'd see exhaust fumes/smoke come out of the truck's exhaust pipes, but you changed that, so mad props to you for hopefully leading the way for others to do the same thing! :D

I have yet to try this truck, but I'm curious to see how well it handles on an i7-7700hq laptop (most likely rather well in all honesty, because I get some pretty good fps on this MSI GL62M 7REX-1067). Anyhows, this is a really well-done truck! Keep it up with the awesome content!
EDIT: I tried it out finally, and I can confirm that it isn't laggy whatsoever. Also, expect to see pictures of the truck on the screenshots thread!

Really impressed with how this came out, but there is one tiny little issue I found, and that being with the sounds. They're set to stereo, so it's like really loud, even when you zoom out with the camera. Thankfully it's an easy fix if you have audacity, which is what I did. Other than that small issue, everything else works! keep up the great work as always! :D

  2. Gotta admit, this is a huge improvement of the last version! It runs really well in the latest RoR version (0.4.7.0) too. To those who still use .3x, I can understand why you may like to still use it to this very day, but times are changing. Besides, the new version of RoR has a reshade mod, and trust me, it's honestly the best thing that has happened for RoR in a while. Sure, multiplayer may be a bit finicky, but I assure you that it is being worked on. Anyhows, I'm going to be taking screenshots of this beauty and posting them in the upcoming day(s) to the screenshots section, so keep an eye out. Keep up the great work though!

Try redownloading/refreshing, probably just a mediafire goof. Anyone else getting this problem?

I downloaded it after right clicking the Mediafire link and opening a new tab, and everything seems just fine here. Also, it's nice to see more indie tracks on here! :D

  4. I am seriously impressed with how good this track looks! Keep up the fantastic work man! Also, there may be a pic of this later on, so keep your eyes peeled on the screenshots thread. ;)

  5. As @Mr. Self Destruct stated, these trucks are pretty amazing, but it is truly a shame that new content is rushed out due to impatience from wanting to compete or just having it in their hands. If people were to patiently wait for things to be fully finished, they would take the time to appreciate the effort put into each one. Nonetheless, keep up the great work man, your content is really impressive!

Outstanding track as usual Chris! I've tested it not too long ago, and it's a really fun one, so keep it up! Also, keep an eye peeled on the screenshots thread, I have a plan for my next picture. ;)

I'm not sure why people are seeing this pink texture glitch, but something tells me that it's due to people using sandstorm sky settings, and not caelum ones. I have absolutely no problems with texture glitches (but it could be that I'm using .39.3 perhaps?). Anyhows, I'm glad to see this one around Edy, and not to mention that it looks amazing! All of these recent releases by you have been phenomenal actually. Also, I know that you've stated before that you're pretty much going to be doing other things now, but hey, that's perfectly fine. There's a lot of things waiting for you in life, but as long as you keep your head up, everything should go smoothly for you. The best of luck man! :D

I use .38, is that the invisible parts problem?

Yep, for some strange reason, the meshes that Fern uses strangely glitch on .38 and beyond. I'm not sure if it has to do with the way that they are exported or so, but it does become a little bit frustrating, especially if the individual has a preference to using somewhat later versions other than .37.

No sound and some parts are invisible

Those missing parts indicate that it is for use with .37 only, anything past that will make those said parts invisible. As for the missing sounds, your best bet is to search for the "Beau's 4X4 soundpack" via the downloads section.

Goodness, this is a great improvement over that older one you made from two years back. Just like you said on the 52nd SYP thread, practicing over time does vastly improve your quality, and this truck shows just that! Keep up the fantastic job man!

    it keeps crashing on .37

Maybe if you were to look up at what I posted, that would not be an issue. Trust me, I was on the same boat, but after finding out what was crashing RoR, I grabbed what I needed and fixed it up.

thanks shawn, like you said the trucks are great.

No problem. These sort of issues are rather easy to fix tbh.

    both trucks are missing this:

The "yellowDriveshaftcage.mesh" and corresponding texture and material file can be found in the "Power Forward" truck that was released, and there is also one other thing that needs to be added into your smv4 pack as well to make these work, and that is the "SUD2016SwayBar.mesh/SUD2016SwayBar2.mesh", as well as the corresponding textures and material files, which is found in "Rockgod's SUD 2016" zip. Just copy and paste into either the smv4 folder or in the actual truck's zip file, and you're good to go. Anyhows, these are rather nice, and it's great to actually see the 30th Anniversary scheme get the treatment it direly deserved. Keep up the fantastic work!

Mine's missing the shocks, swaybars and planetarys in-game

That means that it's not compatible with anything past .37. Trust me, I've had this issue a ton of times, so I know how that goes.
Anyhows, this is a really neat replica of a truck that I've never even knew about fern, but judging by the pictures of it, it's pretty cool looking! Keep it up. :)

Im guessing your on .4? if so, just go into the .truck file and see what files are missing IE the shock shafts, and the tie rod, and just take them from your v4 pack and place the meshes and .png's inside of the pack :)

I actually run .39.3, but I'll take your word of advice and see if I can hunt down the parts. I'll edit this post if I fixed it.
EDIT: Huh, apparently everything is there, it's just that the meshes are not showing up on .39.3, which is strange as heck.
