  1. Beautiful piece. 5 stars for sure.
  2. Woah, it's like sim-monster city. Very nice MDM. Going to attempt a repaint, W.I.P:
  3. Job well done. Pretty large layout, yet still silky smooth FPS.
  4. RKM: I can still paint, but blender is all new to me. I'm thinking I might release some of my paint files as I practice. Open to the public, so anyone can use the textures to practice or take the projects to the finish line. My goal right now is to get a small track together. I am working through RockCrwler's tutorial and I'm about 60% successful. I remember BinEdit took awhile to get used to, but it wasn't so bad once I put the time in. Hopefully, the same happens with blender. Thanks for encouraging words, Green.
  5. Love that truck. Put on a great show in San Diego earlier this year. Nice work.
  6. Check out the tutorial request thread. I posted a link to a paint tutorial that deals with shading specifically in one section.
  7. Track Tutorial Request: 1. Mapping track layout/dirt textures to the track I learned to use Paint Shop Pro 7 awhile back using this tutorial: http://mtm2.com/~mtmg/trucks/psp7.htm It's straightforward and I still use that program to this day. Also, it's very easy to find for free with an unlimited registration attached to it.
  8. Really liked the original and this one is even more wunderbar. Keep it up.
  9. That is a a phenomenal silverado model Gabe. A nice subtle fender flare, every nook and cranny is flawless. I am a fan of the blue accents on the bottom half. Matching them with the body colour would have been too much green. There's a bit of blue in the logo, so it fits nicely.
  10. Top Menu of this website: click Tutorials > Blender There are multiple help topics and videos on importing/exporting with blender.
  11. Hey. Mr. P.P. If you don't have anything good to say, then say nothing please. Well said Mr. ac/dc. I'm a total floater with this game, I'll admit that. Since the jump from MTM2 to RoR, I have contributed nothing. Before the change, I was getting good with BinEdit and PSP 7 for MTM2 modding. I have very slowly started to get a grasp of Blender and plan to use PSP 7 for modding this game. Started some truck repaints, but tracks are really what I want to get the hang of first. Is there a common version of blender that everyone uses around here? I'm running v2.49. Just started incompetently dabbling in blender the last two weeks or so, I'm going to keep trying. Green.
  12. Everybody will be paired off with a competitor, but you are right. Players could definitely agree to allow each other to take the time to execute a perfect freestyle. Not sure there could be much done could do to prevent that. Maybe live in reality? Kidding, but seriously. I think it would still be a good time even if everybody rigged(no pun intended) their freestyle.
  13. I have always been in and out of this community for years. It takes a lot of time, effort, and commitment to be fully involved (buliding mods, running leagues, etc.). Point being, I had an idea for a league format that may alleviate some of crap that nobody likes and make for more entertainment, yay! What if .. - people sign up in pairs - each pair is assigned a day of the week, RACE DAY - race day arrives, player A and player B meet online - they each have a qualifying run - they race and submit the results/times to league - the league will then assign race days to INDIVIDUALS who have advanced past the first round - qualifying times will be used for fast loser, if needed - they each have a freestyle run - use something like fraps to film each freestyle - submit footage for judging It eliminates the hassle of trying to co-ordinate 30 different people's schedules so that they can all meet on the SAME night, at the SAME time. It's not easy. I really miss being able to run leagues. It's great fun, but it can be very hard to make yourself available for it. As for the people that DO make themselves consistently available for league administration.. they deserve a bloody break from all the organization that is required lol. Anyway, tell me what you think. Hope it isn't a dud, Greeny.
  14. Yes, that would be me. This tool isn't a guarantee, but it's easy and worth a shot if you are having frequent RoR lag issues.
  15. Stumbled across this the other day, thought it could be quite useful to the community here. It seemed to work well for me, the game runs noticeably smoother(could be placebo, who knows). Really easy step-by-step with a lot of positive feedback. Here is the link: http://www.rigsofrods.com/threads/95825-Increase-FPS-Tool Cheers.
  16. Nascar .. worst motorsport in the known world.

  17. Im having similar FPS issues but when playing online, my game works fine offline with graphics set high. I turned everything down for online, I get into the game, which runs extremely slow (can't even get in my truck) for about 2-4mins then defaults to this message:
  18. Im diggin the X where the decals cross, would be a good base for the logo.. dont know if u intended to do that lol but shes lookin noice
  19. hey crazy duno if u remember ur old buddy green lol but either way that new axle is lookin mint, the fine detail of the break rotor makes it.. slick.
  20. Man that avenger looks badass! CT and Roach are just pumpin those suckers out like hot cakes hah
  21. Truck: Mopar Magic AIM: greenygoleafs@yahoo.ca Email: greenygoleafs@yahoo.ca Im excited to run in this! Ive seen a few MTMers that I remember around here.. I remember just looking at the NTNT website and wishing I had discovered that part of MTM2 in time to run in it lol but it never came back. All the coverage and organization behind this league kinda reminds me of that old NTNT page, I love it good work I wish I found this sooner and I think it's awesome that all the MODs are taking the time to include all the fine details that make it as fun and realistic as possible for all of us, kudos!
