  1. Will MJ be live streaming the finals this year? I have no idea if they do that anymore. Also, are they increasing the number of competitors this year or same number as WF16?
  2. WW: Open the .truck file for "DiveBomb" and follow the instructions in this file's description (for BKTs, but the process is the same for any tire swap): Sometimes they don't require a "managedmaterials" reference like the BKTs. As long as you're running the appropriate version of the game, this should solve your white tire issue. Also, give this read:
  3. I believe the file comments are reserved for glitch/error/missing file reports, relative questions, and relative comments. Yet another designer and 3D modeler willing to share their hard work and focus with the rest of us, asking nothing in return. Let's not forget how rare that is. Big thanks DF. Superior job on this one, as many others have said, those crush cars are great fun!
  4. This is the closest we'll ever get to it lol pretty sick though:
  5. Agreed. MJ barely even changes the layout of the ramps from one stadium to the next, it's difficult to ignore. They need to change it up a bit like many of the layouts we saw in the 2009-2012 year range (someone mentioned this year rangeas well in the last few pages). Some of the best ever shows came on some more unique tracks. See San Antonio 2011 and San Diego 2009. I don't see any reason why they couldn't use the same amount of time, cars, vans, buses, dirt that they are currently to construct some more varied layouts. I'm sure a number of us around here could sketch up some pretty sweet blueprints with MJ materials. Charlotte and World Finals are layouts that I look forward to ever year, simply because they're unique and far better than what we usually see.
  6. I've always really enjoyed your previous "CMRC" style trucks Taurus, this new batch looks beauty! 'Course you still got it MJF. Those CWFs tracks you make are some of my favourites, good to see you crackin away on stuff again (y) Fern is getting going again and I like it, great work bud. And Edy, puttin work out like hot cakes, keep er goin. Also, shout outs to Zach and Infra for all the quick 0.4 conversions! (despite constant nagging) Big thanks to all above, breathing some life back into to this place it's great to see. Here's some repli-customs I have fun slapping together, not my work in any respect:
  7. im here too, gettin pumped havent been in a few years
  8. Just you. Nice job Edy!
  9. Instructions to properly install BKTs were posted by John Dough when he uploaded them:
  10. Man, I have to say .. that Vaters team you are apart of is a superb operation. Best of luck to everybody there this season!
  11. Monsterjam.com has listed CVH in Digger and Ryan Anderson in SUD for Toronto. Don't know if it's accurate or not though, you folks would have to confirm that for me.
  12. That Tacoma accident was awful, poor family. Sorry to bring the downer to the topic here, I was just curious. Thanks for the quick and accurate info TTG. Anybody know the story with the BKTs being so shiny? Are they delivered all shined up or do the MT teams just have to use barrels upon barrels of tire dressing for displays? I know tire shine has been used on MT's occasionally over the years for pre-show and stuff, but the BKTs it's on the whole tire, tread and all. It's a dumb question, but I'm curious.
  13. Thank you for going ahead with this Dave, can't wait! Nice to see another familiar name around again.
  14. One of the best monster truck productions I've ever seen. I'd have that over MJ all day. Wish Jim Koehler was my boss, he's such a beauty lol Thanks for posting MC, I really enjoyed watching this when I got home from work earlier.
  15. Yea sure I can, as long as it they are approved by the website and O.G. authors. Here is a few more:
  16. I am getting better acquainted with prop placement lately. I enjoy putting trucks together with all these purdy parts and pieces (credit to all original designers/builders, of course)
  17. Really enjoy your video creations HM, keep up the good work!
  18. Agreed. It's a strange business move. Aren't the 3D bodies insanely more valuable than Fiber Pickups/SUVs? Expensive to repair/replace? You would think that would add up to more of a loss on maintenance/replacements than a gain on the marketing end of thing. I liked it when Bulldozer and Samson were the closest things to 3D bodys lol
  19. Yea, very well-informed writer there. Lol. The bad stuff has stayed the same for years, that's for sure. On the bright side, there seems to be more of a light at the end of the tunnel, we are seeing the game start to naturally interact with the real event more and more these days: "The physics are very convincing, and many Monster Jam drivers quietly praise RoR for its accuracy; some using it as a way to brush up on their skills during off-weeks and their driving styles have noticeably changed because of it. These trucks are a handful, and it’s no wonder why some ex-motocross stars such as Damon Bradshaw, and CORR drivers like Todd LeDuc are starting to cross over into the Monster Truck world. The events may be celebrations of destruction and promote what all other racing series hate, but there’s no denying that these trucks take talent to drive on the limit, and the Sim-Monsters trucks faithfully recreate that experience."
