I don't think I've ever seen these two guys run this hard ever. BJ blew the whole YGS thing out of the water, and Mikey has blown the doors off, especially in Anaheim.
Facebook is giving both of these guys 50/50 and 2 thumbs up.
I really hope they give Steven the same treatment BJ just got; you compete in Young Guns for two years, then get yourself into World Finals the next year without having to win it. Junior is doing fantastic in Pirate's Curse so far. While he hasn't had a lot of luck in Freestyle lately, it's Racing that he's starting to get better at, not to mention he made it into the Semi-Finals twice so far during the FS1 Series.

I hope Bari, Coty and Morgan atleast get an invite. I'm fine with Nicole if she doesn't flop on the 1st jump like last year.
She only flipped because that ramp was too damn steep. Only 2 drivers (I think, cause I know Colton did it) got through that ramp.

If you've known me for a while, you know I'm a huge Scooby fan. it's obvious that I'm happy with this announcement!
And for once, Facebook is extremely happy with this announcement as well.

to say Dennis is not freestyling well this year is wrong, yes he has flipped early a few times but, how do you flip over? you go big, Dennis with his new seat has done a tremendous job this year, he has been screwed out of a few wins in my opinion, Dennis has a good shot at both, racing and freestyle this year, just my two cents.
As long as he gets easy matches in the brackets, and the track is (hopefully) not as insane as last year, I agree. He definitely has a good shot at both championships this year.

ya he shouldve won in 2004, also i dont think neil got invited to 2007 because he broke the driveshaft in freestyle in 2005 and got shut down and couldnt run anymore and he was having an amazing run
Are you serious? Everyone knows Meents should've won in 2004, though Soza did pretty good, too.
But I DO agree, Neil did have a good run in 2004.
-
Ahem, I was talking about the past few EVENTS. Not the past few YEARS. He did well in 2014 debuting the truck, and carried that into 2015.
Also, I looked at the results of all shows that had him in it, and nope. No victories from him so far.

If you can see the video on my profile its when Marc McDonald gave me his trophy and hat! I was celebrating my 21st birthday and made a sign. He called out after he won the Speed and Style competition and said "theres a fan here celebrating his 21st birthday and i want to make it special for him, where are you?" i literally jumped out of my seat in excitement. Marc will forever be my favorite driver now just because of that moment yesterday.
So jealous, man. Marc is also one of my faves.
-
^I would have to disagree. For the past few events, he didn't even qualify for the bracket, nor has he gone huge in Freestyle or Donuts.
Also, who saw a backflip coming from this guy?
-
Now that i think of it, if Neil runs hard out there, this may be the first time we'll see someone REALLY trash the body of Cleatus.
-
Wake me up RIGHT NOW if I'm dreaming. First Hot Wheels, then Max-D, now CLEATUS?
My only question with this announcement is what are they going to do with Frank Krmel?
-
To be honest, I actually did not see this guy coming, but I am happy to see him back. Let's hope he throws down in this thing just as hard as he did in Dalmatian in '08, or maybe even harder, cause if there's anyone that really deserves an FS championship, it's this guy.

Welp, I win. MetLife lineup:
El Diablo driven by Lupe Soza, Grave Digger driven by Dennis Anderson, Max D driven by Tom Meents, Son-uva Digger driven by Ryan Anderson, Metal Mulisha driven by Todd Leduc, Lucas Oil Crusader driven by Linsey Weenk, Gas Monkey Garage driven by BJ Johnson, Monster Energy driven by Damon Bradshaw, Scooby-Doo driven by Nicole Johnson, Soldier Fortune driven by Chad Fortune, Mad Scientist driven by Lee O'Donnell, Madusa, Team Hot Wheels driven by Scott Buetow, Zombie driven by Bari Musawwir, Mohawk Warrior driven by George Balhan
Well, if they keep it at 15 trucks, this show is gonna suck. Also, I noticed some differences here: No Monster Mutt Dalmatian or El Toro Loco in it.

That's what YouTube is for. There's almost always some footage from every show.
Except that sometimes the footage is crappy.

Am I the only one who thinks that 2008 to 2010 had to be the best years in Monster Jam history?

Welp, at this point we all know who's going to win the FS1 Series, unless if Bradshaw gets all 5 possible points in both Detroit and Syracuse.
-
Uh, isn't that first pic from 2011? Cause it looks familiar.

This truck has barely competed in one season and is already for sale for an absolutely awesome price... What has this world come too?!
If I hit the lottery, I'm buying that thing.
Here's a truck i did not see coming, who wants it? http://www.racingjunk.com/Monster-Truck/182641805/monster-truck.html

Bari Musawwir won the first show in Providence, and competition is starting to get intense. Musawwir is only 1 point ahead of Vernard, so I guess it's going to be a close one for the next few shows.
Also, Richmond lineup:
Iron Outlaw driven by Mike Christensen, Bounty Hunter driven by Trent Montgomery, Monster Mutt driven by Bryce Kenny, Northern Nightmare driven by Cam McQueen, NEA driven by Norm Miller, Zombie driven by Sean Duhon, Full Boar driven by Ed Eckert, USA-1 driven by Roger Gauger
Who let this Monster X guy in?

Nicole absolutely deserves a spot this year. Ever since El Paso last year she's shown very steady improvement and is honestly a good driver this year. I'm quickly becoming a fan of her.
15 hours ago, Charlie H. said:She did do a solid job in her freestyle thingy in Atlanta last month, so I certainly won't be upset if she makes it
FINALLY SOME OF YOU AGREE WITH ME!
Also, looks like Marc McDonald got in. Based on the way he's been performing, I say this is his year!

We have yet another newcomer to El Toro!
Cincinnati:
Grave Digger driven by Cole Venard, Max D driven by Jared Eichelberger, Scooby-Doo driven by Brianna Mahon, El Toro Loco driven by Tristian England, Zombie driven by Bari Mussawir, Monster Mutt Dalmatian driven by Cynthia Gauthier
-
I have some news, according to the official Monster Jam Website:
1. Cole Vernard of Grave Digger has eliminated 6 of the competitors from a chance of winning the East Amsoil Series. Only Bari Musawwir of Zombie still holds a chance to win the series.
2. When it comes to the West Amsoil Series, pretty much everyone's chances of winning that series are gone, thanks to Morgan Kane of Grave Digger.
3. Adam Anderson has scored so many points in the FS1 Championship Series, that he knocked out 13 drivers' chances of winning the series. If he scores such as ONE POINT this weekend, then there goes Damon Bradshaw and possibly Tom Meents. If he triple downs it, he WILL be this year's champion.

Well, we all know that we'll be seeing at least two new competitors in the YGS this year.
My predictions for the next 5 into the first 8 for WF 17?
Rod Schmidt, Alex Blackwell, Marc McDonald, George Balhan, Candice Jolly, and Scott Buetow.
My predictions on new YGS competitiors? Two hints, one for each.
One, this driver had the best debut out all of new drivers of 2016, as claimed by MJ.
Two, this driver debuted a new paint scheme this year, and did a fantastic job in Pittsburgh, as mentioned by Zach Nicholas.
Oh, and one more thing. If they don't bring Brianna Mahon back to the YGS this year...
Brian = MJ
