People told me they thought I was dead.
Yes, this project is nearing the 2 year old mark. I don't play ROR nearly as much as did a year or two back, and creating around half a dozen unique paints isn't going to happen fast, especially at my own pace, as I try to replicate everything as close to the real thing as I possibly can.
I've invested somewhere around 30 hours in this paint alone. I can already tell you that due to poor ref pics (I don't think anyone owned an HD camera in 2003), not everything is accurate to the point of exact replication, but I got it to where I personally think it's as close as it can get.
I had to redo the side and hood flames more times than I'd like to admit. I don't think I can mentally handle doing all of the paints myself, so PM me if you are interested in helping me out!
I still gotta prop up a chassis, put it on some nodes with the rest of the truck, and find people to do a couple of paints for me. With that said, this project still isn't gonna be done for quite some time.
But I'm not dead.

I don't know if you intended it or not, but you spelled business wrong.

That doesn't accurately answer the question he is asking.
The problem is, you have no inside faces on the body. Only one side of a face is visible. All you have to do to fix this, select the entire body, copy it and leave it exactly where it is. Then, flip the faces so they are not inwards instead of outwards, and change the texture to a fiberglass texture.
I thought that the video demonstrated how to add backfaces, my bad.

New Nine Inch Nails LP "Bad Witch" was announced earlier today and is available on June 22nd.

New album, new merch, new tour dates. It's a good time to be alive.

I've been rekindling myself with Deftones and Stone Temple Pilots recently, and it's been a huge trip down memory lane. I can honestly say that the 90's were the greatest decade for music, and I will forever stand by that opinion.

@Mr. Self Destruct Do you think you could upload a new mediafire link and update the download with it please?
Whew, those bodies were just bad V4 Ogre ports that I didn't even finish right. He'd probably be better off asking around for bodies but I could probably take some time over the week to re-rip and fix V4 bodies if he desperately needs them.
However, I also have a folder full of bodies and bakes but I'm not 100% sure if that belongs public since there are some bodies that were already released, or not meant to be released without being attached to a truck.
Sorry for the delayed response, school's been a b!tch and I haven't been able to do anything as much as I'd like to.

They're a business. Guns are a very hot button issue right now and to avoid anybody suing or protesting and making the company look bad they removed everything that could've posed a possible threat. We may not like it, but it's what FELD has to do to stay a business and bring us exciting Monster Jam action without politics getting in the way.
1 hour ago, Wave said:FELD doesn't exactly care what's going on with other companies creating violent content, they only care if they are in the clear from any potential legal issues guns may bring to Monster Jam and their other motor sport events. Eliminating guns from the trucks was the easiest possible solution, and now they don't even have to deal with potential problems other companies may face in the future.
I haven't kept up with Monster Jam recently but these are the most logical answers. Guns have always been controversial, so to avoid any of the controversy coming to the sport, they removed any gun references from their entire roster. With the amount of school shootings within the recent months, don't even think about them coming back any time soon, either.

Huge thanks for @Chazzymp for painting/sending me Jim's 3rd Quarter paint
Paint by @Swegliner849 and me
All paint by me
I'm like 90% sure that purple paint is just a badly proportioned rip of the one that was made in 2014.

Little late but whatever.
My first season of SMRA didn't go as well as I had wanted it to, but it was a great experience nonetheless. I met a lot of great people and all around had a blast for the events I was able to make. Can't wait for the next season to come around, and I look forward to coming back better than before!
Congratulations to Andrew and Damian for their respective championship wins, and thank you to Kozak and Chad for putting on a great season.

why is the body so small.......?
Also redoing this for the PEI pack, was not satiated with Ferns with the wrong chassis, so Decided to fix it and add it to the pack.
Long post incoming.
From the looks of it, your chassis is wrong too.
I know I've said this a million times, but the chassis is closer to something like this (used Pouncer as an example).
From the looks of it, you took a new gen PEI and added some rods to make it seem like an older gen (used Hooked SUV as an example).
The Wall of Steel video shows a close up of the chassis and it's most definitely an older gen PEI, probably with some modifications done to it that can't be seen under the body.
I downloaded the chassis pack a while ago and also noticed that it was like that for a lot of the trucks in that pack, along with GD14.

anywho rebuilt a truck for @ABgamerX needs some fixes thouPlease upscale that body and raise the shocks on it. The shocks shouldn't mount to the lexan. There are also a couple of node oddities, like hydros raised too high, swaybars/links not connected, etc. I would definitely take some time and make sure the nodes are 100% right before anything.

As much as I like seeing new content posted here, if you honestly meant that as a meme, then it should go in the Fail Pictures thread. Otherwise, I would take some time and make sure you 100% know what you're doing before throwing something together. I've seen some of your work around here and it's actually pretty good. Just take your time, and you'll definitely have something really good.
Idk, it's the weekend, maybe I'll have something to actually show for myself in a few days.

Oh hey, it's another Digger paint. I wanted to remake this after I saw it in an old MTM2 video.
I was wondering when there'd be a Digger with that ribbon in the front, makes a nice touch.
Great work! Looks clean!

in my opinion just release racing & FS together as a whole cause there's no sense on releasing the racing version and not including the freestyle verson.
but ey. do what ever you please. It's not a matter of what makes sense, it's a matter of you can either have one now, one later, or neither because Chris'll end up getting burned out on the project altogether.
No need to be passive aggressive, either.

As far as I know people still use 2.49 for creating and exporting. I personally use 2.79 for creating and 2.49 for exporting since I am not aware of any plugins compatible with newer versions. Welcome back nonetheless.

Swaybar Link/Bottom 4-Link Nodes
in Help and Support
Posted
I'm editing nodes for Avenger, and apparently the front swaybar link nodes and the front bottom 4-link nodes meet at the same point. I can't align the swaybar links onto their mounts without moving the 4-links off of theirs, and vice versa.
Here the 4-links are directly in front of their mounts (they're just a tad too short), but the swaybar links aren't lining up with their mounts because of the nodes. Moving the swaybar links to where they're supposed to be causes the 4-links to move out of position.
Any fixes/help?
