Demko that is all part of the collective bargaining agreement for those leagues, they have a clause that basically if an owner is running a team like shit, they can take over the team at anytime to ensure the players and fans don't get completely screwed over. Getting back on topic I don't really see why everyone is griping about FELD OWNS ALL THE TRUCKS, WE MUST GET RID OF THEM RAWR!!!! Joe Needacheck, o wait we weren't picking the first car out of the race This one is hard to say, everyone looks mediocre at best this weekend but I'll go with Truex getting a breakthrough win to all but solidfy his spot in the chase, if it become a fuel milage race though Edwards coasts around the track at 165 mph for the last 15 laps and runs out of gas coming to the line winning the race by 20 seconds

Here is Monster Jams basic business model, appeal to the 5-18 year old demographic which the younger portion really don't care about a legitimate points system but rather just like watching the trucks jump in the air. They go to the show where half of the trucks are company owned trucks that are top notch and the rest of the field are independents where maybe 3 at most are top notch. Kids are going to root for the trucks who perform the best and will more than likely buy appearal of their favorite truck to wear at the next event. Even if an independent truck starts to perform well Feld is still going to make money off of that because the typical parent is going to get directed to monsterjam.com instead of the official website of say Bounty Hunter or Avenger. So with all this money Feld is generating off merchandise, they are able to pump more money into advertising which in turn draws in more fans. Basically as long as Feld is making money with the current system they have, it won't change.

Truck looks nice on paper but will not translate good to the truck imo with the way the colors are unless Zane decides to put the money into getting the truck wraped with florescent colors. I kinda hope Zane builds a longer wheelbase truck for himself and turns the current Stinger into Boogey Van

I already had this idea, just need to get around to finishing the truck, prob won't happen till AME3 though

Talent only gets you so far now a days, its all about who can bring in the most money. Also Cassill hasn't impressed me this year like he did last year, idk if its the team or what but hes really hasn't done much, and with the talent out there with the money they can bring to a team he probably won't get a chance at a good ride unless he goes to a small team and hopes they can develop into a top tier team like MWR has done over the past 5 years.

This, Crazy 98 and The Pit were my favorites from this game. The Pit was probably my all time favorite just because of how small and tight the track was. Looks great tho Tom

Why does Earnhardt need to focus on road course racing when it means next to nothing when it comes to winning a championship, as long as you make the chase you dont need to be good at all on roadies. He's been the most consistent driver this year and is a whole race ahead of Stewart in the points at the moment. Although he is coming to some tracks (besides Daytona) that he struggles at, and this will be a true test to his race team as he was in the situation last year but without the win and he really fell off after Daytona. I really don't see why you are bashing Jr as there are some good drivers with fairly long winless streaks (Martin, Edwards, Truex Jr.) who just because they haven't won in a while doesn't make them a good racecar driver.

When only a handful of people have the pack and all speak with each other on a daily basis puting in countless hours of work in each day. There was a zero percent chance of it getting leaked within the team because the only people who had it were those who were working on stuff for it.

Too much rotating mass its as simple as that. Also the ramp gave way which caused it to twist like it did. After seeing what Tom did, I think the double is definitely possible the first two things I would do is put a smaller motor in the truck and make it 2wd, mainly to cut down on the rotating mass which will alot it to spin alot easier. The ramp also played a key roll in how the truck flipped, the lip seemed to be a bit too much and instead of throwing the truck up and back it more or less threw him back and just didn't have the air to allow the truck to complete the rotation it needed.

There have been alot of pretty good monster truck gimmicks over the years like Colt Cobra driving Snake Bite in the 90s to the "mystery" driver in NWO with Chad Fortune as the NWO spokes person. Just wanted to see what was everyones favorite gimmicks and have a fun and open discussion about them.

The only way to make the trucks safer than they are is to add some type of crush panel to the top of the truck to decrease the impact if a truck were to land cage. I am sure they will be looking into making the trucks safer much like many of the sprint car chassis builders after the wreck that nearly killed shane hmiel.
