  1. If the color were just a tad bit darker or duller it would have the spooky purple that I think was intended. Which may end up being how it looks, considering the possibility that the white render background is making the truck look brighter We'll see, the final version may still be different.
  2. Yeah, just gotta figure out where to place it. Also, rims! Thanks to Johan for letting me put these on
  3. So, here's something I've been working on for the past couple days: I had a good idea for a Marvel truck not (yet?) included in the FELD fleet, and thought it might be appropriate to go back to putting weapons on trucks. Here's a good shot of the lightbar, with real glowing lights! Katanas, explosives, lights, and satchels all modeled by me One more ortho view in Blender... To-Do list: - Add spec maps (might end up needing some help on that) - Fix minor model and texture problems (clipping Katanas, etc.) - Add a few more stuff to the body texture (tail lights)
  4. Now, before people start complaining, I'm pretty sure the reason FELD changed Superman to this is because the DC trucks are actually now sponsored by DC's parent company, Warner Bros., not directly to DC. Similar to why Batman also received a makeover last year, Warner Bros. wanted their trucks to resemble the likeness of recent movies. So before this becomes another round of "why'd they change it?", it's most likely because there are still fans of the Superman style truck and they may not have been able to keep the truck around otherwise. The absence of a cape might have something to do with a cape being used on another TBA (in the United States?) superhero truck, but all we can do at this point is speculate. All in all, the overall design of the truck isn't too bad, I think the render just makes the truck look more shiny than it will be. Yes, it's a standard mid-2000's Ford F150, but looking past the simplicity, the paintjob fits the modern Superman concept, and if it's true FELD was unable to use a cape, there's not much that can be done with a Superman style truck without making it look ridiculous (3D hair ), so they figured the best thing they could do is leave it the way it is. TL;DR This time FELD most likely has a good justification for their choice as opposed to what happened with El Diablo. It might just be me, and I might be looking into it a bit too much, but I feel like people are starting to become more prone to complaining no matter what choice FELD makes (I'm not saying that El Diablo wasn't a bad idea).

  6. I wouldn't be surprised if we see another rendition of Iron Man considering all the different designs in the new movie. It could end up being set up similar to the alternate El Toros, with schemes unique to each driver.
  7. Circa 1974 Dodge Ramcharger going up, I've got a couple things to go back and change on what I have so far , and I'm not sure if I'm entirely satisfied with how the bed cap turned out. I don't really wanna get p3d yet, so let me know if you wanna see it at another angle or something.
  8. That body in the picture appears to actually be drawn concept art. So the real body still may differ slightly from that image. I have more faith in this design than Zombie. It has a more fluid design and -aside from the tongue- appears to be symmetrical. ANOTHER thing I think a lot of people are missing: I'm not exactly an expert on cultural arts, but I think the design is supposed to reflect certain Latin American art styles, which, although branches off from a conventional motor vehicle style, would better fit the truck's purpose.
  9. They do have a similar format, but they aren't exactly the same shape, and assuming the bodies are fairly expensive (NEA for sure if those are working LED lights) I highly doubt it's a concept that will eventually become overused (beyond FELD), and at this point, I'll take anything over another half-concept truck designed around the Ford F-150 mold.
  10. I really like how that truck looks, the futuristic police theme is a very interesting concept and I think it suits Norm really well.
