  1. And I thought my life sucked. I really hope things get better for ya. Just keep your head above water and you'll pull through I'm sure. Best wishes to you and if you ever just want someone to talk to, I'm here for ya.
  2. Damn, guys! This stuff is awesome! I need to get off my butt and get back to work on my stuff but I just haven't had the chance lately. Plus, Outrage is ready for DL once I can get on here long enough to do it. Mixed feelings on the new look, by the way...
  3. Nope. might could get one, but I'm not sure
  4. I have one, but it's a regular cab short bed. I can send it to ya if you want it
  5. My ego uis fine, thanks. And no, I'm not Asian klayton.
  6. I hope not lol. Again, I'm doing fine on day 2. Don't know about my little brother, as he's not out of bed yet. Anyways, I'm off to work. Later guys and girl!
  7. I wasn't in the parking lot, the front car was waiting to turn. Tonight got even more fun when some woman started screaming "get off the damn road!" at us, I turned around and yelled "There's been a wreck!" so she rolled her window back up and gave me a pissed-off go toi hell look. Then once the cops got there, of course he asked me for my license and insurance. Gave him 3 insurance cards: 2 were mine and one belonged to who i bought the car from. He handed one of mine and the last owner's cards, and told me the one he had was expired. He handed back my up to date card for some reason. so now I have a nice little ticket, but all I have to do is show them the valid card and it's gone or so I'm told... FML And I have given some thought to buying an old junker and getting into the demo derby at the local fair. But still, two major wrecks and no one injured? My dad told me that's luckier than winning the lottery and I can believe him.
  8. Just had another wreck. Me and my bro are alright, just a little rattled. My car was the only one damaged strangely. What happened was the first car was turning into a parking lot, and I hit the car behind them and they hit the first car. Knocked the grille and both headlights out of my car and screwed up the hood pretty good, but it should be repairable. Problem is I'll have to pay any bills out of my own pocket as well as my own insurance now. Pretty sure I'm gonna sell that cursed hunk of metal first chance I get...
  9. Alright, so big story right now around my area is a local high Schooler died of cancer earlier this week. He'd already had the same thing before and they got rid of it but it came back and there was nothing they could do to stop it this time. His mom was a teacher in one of the schools, and I may have even had her one year. I know my sister did. Now for the topic's title, I just read on FB that the local Papa John's Pizza held a special promotion in which they would donate half of their proceeds to his family. They had so many people come out, the state troopers had to close down an entire section of the main highway and have people out directing traffic around the line. I haven't heard an exact number yet, but I'd imagine it was pretty high. The official FB page for Papa John's even posted a story highlighting the restaurant "Papa John's would like to highlight our restaurant and customers in Savannah, TN who heard about a young man in their community fighting cancer and decided to step up and help! Our franchisee, Mark Alexander, announced that he would donate half of the restaurant's sales from Monday, February 11 to the family. The people of Savannah, stepped up and showed up...boy, did they show up! Traffic coming to the store backed up to the point that state troopers closed the highway and had to direct traffic! Thank you to our Papa John's team and customers in Savannah, for your support of this young man and his family! Better Pizza, Better People, Better World." As I commented I go there for carry out often, and I personally know at least a couple of the employees there, and I know I graduated high school with one of them. I'll have to thank them for this next time I'm in there. R.I.P. Aaron Bell, you will be missed. And here's the story: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10151328492102639&set=a.70360222638.77873.34703237638&type=1&theater
  10. Pretty sure there's already a TV show thread...
  11. Ehrmahgherd, lolz ovehrloadz! hah, stuff looks great guys!
  12. Yep. Seems Jimmy isn't gone after all...
  13. Very high on my list as well. you heard their new song on COD: Black Ops 2? http://youtu.be/uJbrTgUL0Dk One of my favorite songs they've done in years, to be honest.
  14. Shift and +/- on the number pad. Works like a dream.
  15. I think this is one of thosre "I can look all I want but I'll never get close to touching one." situations... In the meantime, my keyboard now needs a drool-mop. Be right back... EDIT: is it just me, or does the GM guy sound like he's stoned outta his mind? I just keep waiting to for him say "wooooooaaaaaaaaahhhhhhh, liikee, the coooooollooooorrrsss..."
  16. I would but I'm too busy with all kinds of sh!t lately.
  17. Dammit, the post ninja strikes again! Beau, nice job on the sounds, though the transitions from Scarlet Bandit on could be a little more smooth IMO.
  18. Seems like it. I got the car back a little while ago, runs just fine again. can't say the same for my day though. Got hammered with a rush at work right after I came back in off my break, completely blindsided everyone there, not to mention we were out of or nearly out of all of what was being ordered. Then I had to stay almost an hour late trying to get dishes done that should have been done before I even got there this morning. then onto the restaurant opening preview party. Was pretty good. Barbeque sauce was a little too spicy for my taste, but some of the best barbeque that's locally available. Waitress was cute too. then got stuck at my mom's concert rehearsal, she's a great singer, got my car then came home.
  19. I didn't tighten the nuts enough. Looking at the tire, you could see ovbious wear on both the lugs and their slots on the rim where it had been wobbling like crazy. I'm just really lucky there weren't any cars on the other side of the road at the time, that would have been a disaster. We got it towed off to the repair shop before nightfall, so maybe it won't take too long to get it fixed up. And I mentioned it was making a strange sound? It sounded like a freaking helichopter was flying just overhead all the time. Not to mention it was shaking like crazy. Told my dad about it and he thought it was something with the axle.
  20. They most likely will. But I will admit this one was my fault. Last week, I thought that tire was flat and I took it off to check if I needed to put the spare on. turns out it wasn't, it was jut low. so I put it back on but apparently didn't tighten the nuts as much as I should have so I went a week with a loose tire. Made one hell of a racket, but I didn't know what it was. Now I know, and knowing is half the battle. Sorry, couldn't resist doing that.
  21. Oh trust me, it was a fun experience. Don't know which was more fun though, that or calling my parents to tell them I'd just been hit by a semi...
  22. Well, I am now convinced that my car does in fact hate me. My little bro and I were on our way out to our grandparents house for lunch. Just a ways out of town, we feel the front end of my car lurch really big, and then the front end drops out on the left and I see that tire go rolling right across 3 lanes of traffic and bounce off the curb and into the woods. My parents came by a few minutes later and that's when the real fun started. Me and him, who are the tallest people in our house both being over 6 feet tall, had to cram ourselves into the almost nonexistent backseat of his cavalier to finish the drive. Now for the future, I've got a full schedule at work this week, my next and only other day off is Saturday, and I get paid on Friday. No clue how long it'll be in the repair shop or how much the bills will be so this week is gonna be an absolute hell. Wish me luck guys, I'm gonna need it. Oh, and about the damage to the car: it screwed up the fender pretty good, and I'm gonna need a new brake rotor and new lugs, maybe even a new wheel too. Not looking forward to that either.
  23. Very nice work John! But (There's alwayas a but) The name on Destroyer looks to be a little too sharp. I'd suggest lightly blurring the edges of the letters, or try messing with the saturation to clear up all the blue and purple around them. Hot shoe, Track looks great as well. I'd just be concerned about the high amount of verts around the pile of cars for the stunt car to jump into. Looks like it'd be lag city for some people with lower powered computers. Of course, I could be wrong as I have no clue how you made it. Just looks to me like there would be a hell of a lot of unnecessary verts. And to add my name to the pot, I for one would rather have constructive criticism than a casual "oh it looks good" and no one ever gives it a second thought. If there's something I can fix that I might have missed or just impove on, I wanna know it, dammit! Or if you've got a suggestion to make it look better, same thing! Sure, I may get mad if it turns out to be really frustrating, but I'll be thankful if it looks better in the end. And what was I talking about??? Speaking of, would anyone mind beta testing Outrage some for me? I like it, but I'd like the opinion of someone who has more seat-time than I do. Just shoot me a PM or HMU on AIM and I'll get it to ya soon as possible.
  24. Hrmmm, now that looks familiar. You get that from the 3d Warehouse? Looks just like what I used as a base for my Outrage body.
