Hey I was wondering is there a way to convert beamng tracks to ror and if there's a way please tell me how thanks
you're technically not allowed to unless you get permission from the creators. It is possible, but I recommend not trying it

Bumping this like 10 month old thread since this is an issue for me again. Since the stadium models that are released on here have all textures show up the second you load the .blend file, how can I make my .blend files do that so that you don't have to re-texture every single face?

Coming September 1st...
Racing:
Two Wheel Skills:
Freestyle:
(Please don't quote these pics to clog up the thread, quote my messages instead )
EDIT: Fixed my "blockyness" issues (hopefully), and updated pics without the "blockyness" issue

I was wondering what blender version do you need for RORMADNESS’s us bank because I use 2.49b but if I put it in game it comes out with lines instead of faces

The faces aren't made yet in that model

Name: Circle K Back to School Monster Truck Bash 2018 (Charlotte, NC)
Venue: The Dirt Track at Charlotte Motor Speedway
Racing Style: I don't believe there is a name for the racing style other than maybe "Over and Under Style?"
Replica or Custom: Replica
Date Ran: August 11th, 2018
Images/Graphics: I don't know why I can't upload pictures but they're all over Instagram under the location "The Dirt Track at Charlotte" and under the Instagram accounts of "@thedirttrackatcharlotte," "@allmonster" and other places. I apologize for the inconvenience.
Other details: Freestyle is the same as racing (tires and all) just faded color a little bit on ramps. Probably one of the easier Back to School Bash tracks to be made. Nobody has made the Back to School Bash track since 2014... we need a new one!
If Sim Monsters can't let you upload any photos, then you can either upload the photos to sites such as Imgur or Discord (Photobucket can be an option too, but I don't recommend it), copy the image address link, then paste the link here. In this case, you should be able to copy the image addresses from the Instagram pics. Sim Monsters will automatically convert the link into the image you want

I remembered something similar to this happened a lot in racing at this event, lol (It wasn't these trucks exactly, but this turn was pretty brutal by the looks of it ):

Since a couple of people had "concerns" with me using someone else's ramps for my Toronto 2018 track (Even though the creator did give me permission, plus it's my decision and felt a little guilty using someone else's ramps), I decided to make my own ramps:
Other than that, I added the barriers, and not really much else left to do construction-wise, still gotta paint the track and make Two Wheel Skills and Freestyle versions too

Am i the only one who finds it ironic that fire starter is blue aka the color of water orrrrrrr
Actually, blue flames have a higher temperature than red flames. Many people use red, orange, or yellow flames because those are the flame colors we most commonly see in real life (if you look at like a match, a campfire, a fireplace, etc., then you'll know what I mean). Just a random fact that no one needed to know

Hello, and welcome to Sim Monsters, please use these guidelines to fill out a proper request:

I have not seen anyone do this yet and I have to admit it turned out pretty good.
Note. I have no clue how to change the shocks. And the zoomies are apart of the mesh and I don't know how to change that without breaking it.
This tutorial pretty much covers how to switch props. Yes, I do tires, but it's pretty much the same (PLEASE don't ask for the truck in this video, it's very a$$):
EDIT: @NtheDiggerfan more than 1 person are allowed to work on the same project. You both could've had the same project idea at the same time, which happens more often than you think. I can't name any other examples off the top of my head, but I've seen it quite a few times.

Most of the more recent ones from the .37 section works for .4, but some of the older ones (from like 2014 or older) aren't standalone, so they might not work. Also, please refer all future questions to the Help & Support Forum: http://sim-monsters.com/forum/23-help-and-support/

It's gonna be a pack. There will be a replica version, and a few others. This is the version that i made if it was running now in 2018.
Never ran collectors, wrong shock package, and probably would've kept the rims yellow since those were the most recent rims the Legend used before it retired. To me, this looks way more like a custom than a replica.
And as I keep saying about the ramps, I will give credit when I will release it
-
They're the ramps from New Orleans 2018, I just re-scaled them slightly

If i may be able to chime in.
If a project is released to the PUBLIC, imo i don't feel its necessary to ask permission. That project and everything helped make it up, is open to the public to be used in whatever way SO LONG AS the original creator is given credit for their contributions.
If the project was kept PRIVATE and you (somehow) got a hold of it and started showing it off as your own, then there's an issue.
If you think nothing on this site was used from components that were already released and/or public, you gotta look a little closer.
I was going to give him credit either way if I used his ramps

I will ask permission to use his ramps before releasing, if he says no, I'll make my own. Let's calm down with the drama a bit, and get back on topic please.

Just gonna ignore that. Not what I meant at all. I'm talking about everyone taking things so seriously, a completely separate issue this site really suffers from. It's OK though, keep stepping on MY toes...
Anyway....
After a few hours of work, the WIP version is ready. If anyone wants to test it, PM me. Should be out soon.
(pondering weather or not to put "Weston Anderson" on the door bc when he finally drives a MJ truck I think it's gonna be the Legend)
Is this a custom or a replica, and if so, what are you trying to replicate? Also some side pics would be helpful as well, since you only have 2 front end pics

When I import some stadiums, Blender says it has more than 16 materials, which resorts me to import it without the material file. As a result, I have to re-texture the entire stadium face by face, is there a way for me to import a stadium with more than 16 materials without having to re-texture it?

Something I've been working on for the past month or 2, hoping to get this done by late August (still need to fix a few ramps, add some more barriers, and paint the track), so until then, be patient my children

you need to switch out a lot of props such as the shock package, sway bars, and 4 links. Also, you need to retexture the inside of the body to a fiberglass texture, since the paint decals aren't supposed to show up on the inside of the body. Here's a texture that MIGHT do it (If there's a better one, then please correct me, lol):

So this whole time I was an idiot and thought it did nothing since I only ever used that set smooth option in textured mode so I never saw a difference in results . Once I switched it over to solid mode, I saw a change in results, lol. Thanks guys for your help 👍. I updated my last post's pics to show the changes with it being set to smooth
