RORSPS Headed down south to NRG Stadium in Houston, TX for some old school J-Hook Style racing! @Brandon Adam in Grinder would get the fastest qualifying, and after many photo finishes throughout racing, he would also move on to take home the racing trophy! We then move on to freestyle, where we see A LOT of high numbers being put up left and right, but coming out on top would be @Chris B in Showtime taking home not only the freestyle win, but also the overall event championship via the freestyle score tiebreaker! Next week stay down south and continue to head west to Glendale, AZ for what might be the best stadium event of the season! We hope to see you all there!

We have reached the halfway point of the season as RORSPS stops at St Louis, MO! The drivers were able to maneuver through the turns on the elevated platforms, but only 1 person can master the racing course, and that would be @Vincent Akard in Backwards Bill! Freestyle however was a greater challenge, but the 1 driver that would come out on top would be @Adrian Cooper in Ares! However, none of these drivers were the overall event champion! While Vincent did tie when it came to points, the overall event championship title goes to @Blake Thompson in Hysteria, who received the higher freestyle score! Next week we plan to continue to go out west and visit NRG Stadium in Houston, TX! We hope to see you guys there!

Stop # 4 of RORSPS starts to head west as we stop at the Southern Illinois Center in Du Quoin, IL! This track proved to be very challenging for our drivers trying to navigate through the sharp turns and avoiding the turn tires. But the driver coming out on top in racing would be @John Dough in Spiderman! And since this is an arena event, our drivers only had 90 seconds to wow the crowd and judges in Freestyle, and doing that would be @Trevor Michalesko in Short Fuse! He would use that win, along with his final round racing appearance to get the overall event championship! Next week head a bit further out west to St Louis, MO! We hope to see you all there!

This event was absolutely insane! Racing was tough as the drivers had to drive through the water, but it would be @Nick Worthmen in Blue Thunder taking home the racing win! Freestyle had a lot of insane moments too, with @CMDeerfoot coming out 3rd in the order to take home the freestyle victory! However, just like last week, neither of these drivers did enough to secure the overall event championship. It would end up going to @Brandon Adam in the Advance Auto Parts Grinder, who made it to the 2nd round of racing and placed 2nd in freestyle! Next week we head from the outdoor wide open beach to the indoor (not as wide open) Southern Illinois Center in DuQuoin, IL. We hope to see you guys there!

Stop # 3 of RORSPS heads from Orlando to a bit further up north to Virginia Beach! The rain storm down south has moved up north, and while the track is now dry for the most part, part of the track is now flooded! This should lead to some incredible action for racing and freestyle with this additional obstacle! Who will dominate on the beach and who will end up sinking in the drink? Find out on Wednesday July 21 at 8 pm est!

These tough muddy conditions proved to be a challenge for the drivers here in Orlando, but 16 of our best drivers came out to put on the best performances possible! @NoThanksIz came out as the 7th fastest qualifier, and against all odds, was able to get the racing win! In freestyle, it would be @AaronLurie blowing away the freestyle competition with some huge wow factors, such as his consecutive backflip and crazy saves! However, neither of these drivers were able to snatch the Overall Event Championship, as the Overall event Champion had to be determined by 2 tiebreakers! Izzy, Vincent, and Trevor tied for Overall, however the higher freestyle score is the 1st tie breaker, only leaving Trevor and Vincent who both tied in freestyle. The freestyle tie breaker is determined by who got the score 1st. as a result, @1998 toyota corolla got the extra point to get the Overall event championship title! This next week should be very fun as we head back up north to Virginia Beach, VA, the largest track of the season! We hope to see you guys there!

For stop #2 of RORSPS, the drivers are heading down south to Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida! This track features St Louis Style racing, but with a twist where the trucks start in the tunnel! Unfortunately, mother nature called, and a huge rainstorm is going to hit the city of Orlando! But the show must go on! Which drivers will come out on top in the mud on Wednesday July 14? Tune in to find out!

A lot of drivers came out to tonight's event, but only 16 were able to compete! @Brandon Adam got the fastest qualifying time, and was able to carry that momentum all the way through to the racing win! If you all think this event was huge, then wait until you see what else will be in store for the rest of the events this season as our competitors will head on down to Orlando, Florida! Stop # 1 of RORSPS starts at The Georgia Dome in Atlanta, GA! This venue is well known for having some of the most tackiest dirt in the circuit, so sand was placed in the turns to help the drivers slide out more in the turns for racing rather than hiking up on 2 wheels. Hey everybody! Welcome to the Rigs of Rods Summer Points Series (RORSPS)! Here, 16 of the best drivers on Sim Monsters will compete for both racing and freestyle wins, while also fighting for that overall event championship! Each and every one of these points will determine which top 16 drivers will make it to the RORSPS World Finals 5 (for context, this league has ran off of Sim Monsters for 4 seasons so this is technically season 5)!

The amount of points earned is based highly on attendance, the more people that compete, the more points you can potentially get! So make sure to show up when possible to earn the most amount of points as possible!

The drivers competing in this league will be determined by your qualifying times on the track, with the top 16 making it in! Events will be taking place on Wednesdays throughout the summer starting on July 7th at 8 pm est! Qualifying will be ran differently than other leagues, there will be 2 qualifying slots to run in! 1 slot will be taking place on Tuesday evenings from 10:30 pm est - 11:30 pm est, with the next one taking place Wednesday evenings from 7 pm est - 8 pm est (also to answer the question for you, you only need to qualify once in the lane of your choice, and you don't need to show up for both time slots, just 1)!

You are allowed to run replicas and customs with V4 settings! In addition, custom tracks made by me will be used for this series with a new track and racing style being used every week! Sign ups will begin sometime next week (date/time TBD), just make sure they fall within the rules!

Thanks you everyone for showing up to this test event! Getting the fastest qualifying time was @Bonky Bob 2 in Backlash! He would then proceed to carry the momentum all the way to the racing finals, just to fall short to @1998 toyota corolla in Hoonzilla in a close finish! For freestyle, it was @Chris B came out, blew away all technicality through the roof, giving him the freestyle win, and the overall event championship, beating Brandon Adam in a tie breaker!

Hey guys, this is going to be the test event for Rigs of Rods Summer Points Series (RORSPS)! This event will be taking place on Wednesday June 2 at 7 pm est on Arnhem 2009. We will do qualifying, racing and freestyle. Qualifying will last from 7 pm est - 8 pm est with a quick drivers meeting at 8 and then the main event starting soon after. You may use a replica, or a custom as long as you made it or if you've been given permission to use the custom truck. If you choose a replica or a repli-custom, then it must be a truck that is on the Sim Monsters website (If you REALLY want to use a replica that is not on Sim Monsters, then you must dm me about it first before signing up. If you don't, you will not be allowed to use that truck and must change it to one that meets the requirements). If you're using your own custom, then it does not need to be uploaded to Sim Monsters, just know that all members must have access to the trucks. 1 last thing, make sure your 4 link bars are parallel to each other, if your truck is belly dragging with the 4 link bars pointing upwards towards the axles, then you will be asked to raise your ride height to fix the issue (I can do it for you if need be). If your truck is caught belly dragging, then you will not be able to compete until this is fixed! The Top 16 qualifiers will make it into the event. We will be using the latest version of Rigs of Rods, 2021.04, so make sure you have that version downloaded. We are using V4 settings for this fun run. Please join the Sim Monsters voice chat at 8 pm est for a quick drivers meeting where I will go over the rules again, answer any questions/concerns, and explain a few more extra details regarding the event.

Qualifying:

• IMPORTANT: Make sure your timers are working correctly and show up here. If your times do not show up, make sure your anti cheat's api server is set to default and apply changes. Also make sure your "disable online api" option is unchecked. This will be important for calculating points later on, so make sure your times show up BEFORE qualifying.
• 1 person will be called in at a time (first come 1st serve).
• I will ask the driver to ready up. Reply with ready, say you're ready in the voice chat, or wiggle your tires to show that you are ready.
• Then I will say go at a random time in the ROR chat.
• WAIT until I say ready up before saying ready.
• You get 1 pass in the lane of your choice (no reruns).

Racing:

• When your race is called, you will have 2 minutes to get into the game and spawn in (if you need your race dropped, then let me know before your race is called).
• I will ask both drivers to ready up. Then a go will be given at a random time in the ROR chat.
• Lane choice in Round 1 will be based on your qualifying times.
• Lane Choice for Round 2 onwards will be based on your time from your most recent pass.
• NO neutral bombing (if you are caught, a 5 second penalty will be applied).
• You will be given a 5 second penalty if both front tires do not hit the racing ramps.
• 90 degree turn rule: If your truck surpasses 90 degrees upon entering a turn, you will be given a 5 second penalty.

Freestyle:

• You have 2 minutes to impress the 3 judges.
• BE REALISTIC. If it hasn't been done in real life, chances are it is unrealistic. If a move is deemed too unrealistic then it won't be counted towards your score and might lead to a possible RII. I will let some moves slide, but don't be stupid with your runs.
• You will be RII'd for hard cage hits, hitting the wall, if your truck is on its lid, and other huge crashes.

There will be an overall event champion as well, so make sure you aim high in these competitions to earn as many points as possible. Remember most importantly to have fun!

With a couple of last minute competitors added to the lineup, the Orlando 2021 went underway! It would be @Chris B in Husky Showtime coming out first in qualifying with a time that could not be topped by the other competitors, earning the #1 qualifying time of the night! And he was able to bring in those fast times all the way through to the racing finals where he goes up against @RORmadness in Max-D Blackout! Chris had the lead at the half way point, but it was Travis who made up the much needed ground in the final turn to get the racing win! We then move onto freestyle where Chris came out 1st and put up what looked to be an almost unbeatable run, and I say almost because Travis came out later in Max-D Blackout and burned down the house in Freestyle taking the lead! Other drivers came out to try and top his run, however the rest of the drivers just fell short and had some worse luck than others, giving @RORmadness the freestyle win and the double down trophy!
