Casey Graves Posted June 17, 2012 Share Posted June 17, 2012 Too much rotating mass its as simple as that. Also the ramp gave way which caused it to twist like it did. After seeing what Tom did, I think the double is definitely possible the first two things I would do is put a smaller motor in the truck and make it 2wd, mainly to cut down on the rotating mass which will alot it to spin alot easier. The ramp also played a key roll in how the truck flipped, the lip seemed to be a bit too much and instead of throwing the truck up and back it more or less threw him back and just didn't have the air to allow the truck to complete the rotation it needed. Now that I saw the way he approached the ramp and the way it took off, it is 100% possible for the double backflip. He said the cars got in the way.
