I am wondering what im going to do to get my enjoyment of monster jam for the next 3 years :/ Congrats to the Anderson family on bringing home the titles of racing and freestyle champions of the last metrodome event Ryan put on one heck of a show in racing, and Adam did an amazing freestyle\ I was in section 106, and saw all of the drivers go to the next section over every time.... but that itself was cool. Today at Monster Jam shows for example the monster trucks go up a set of cars and drive on top of the RV and smash it down. Back in the early and mid 2000's monster trucks in Monster Jam would blast through them with pure aggression. DDT Posted December 9, 2013 Share Posted December 9, 2013 yeah but the cars infront of the RVs are safer and easier on parts... before (and even sometimes now) the truck would smash into the RV and destroy the front clip of the truck and sent a bunch of Debris into the driving compartment of the truck and sometimes break a steering line or something up front..while today hitting the cars first to raise the front end up it usually ends up reducing body damage, less debri endtering the truck, and easier on parts. Today a driver can plow through a RV or anything else they toss out (like in Phenix they tossed out a old solid metal RV bus thing) they can plow through/crush them and still make it just as cool if not cooler then without the cars if they hit it right Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Started getting into Monster Jam around '05-'07, and I feel the shows were much better then. Less about corpeeate sponsor and more about the trucks and the actual show.
