All these MTM2 posts are making me feel nostalgic. I can remember buying the game the first week it came out in '98. Those were some fun days. God I feel old now. Keep up the good work Edy!

Not too bad actually. Seem a little off but way better than your first attempt. I remember when I used to work on sounds. It was such a pain in the rear. Glad to see other people giving it a try. Keep it up.

Pretty fun game. Agree with you on the price tag but the dev's say they are going to continue updating it. Shall see. I think it's a must have for anyone that likes off-roading. I don't know what is so addicting about sloshing around through axle deep mud but this game has it.

Just to let anyone know who may have been having the same trouble he was, there has been an alternate version uploaded here to the sight that should hopefully remedy the problem for some people.

Sounds like you might have a soundscript error. I'd look through your ROR.log and see if there are any errors.

If you have any of the older versions of the sounds when I used to use all the different soundscripts for each separate sound you have to delete those soundscript files. Everything has been consolidated into the gravedigger.soundscript file now and will interfere with the old scripts. Look in your v4 pack and if it contains the soundscripts named Collector2, Downsweeps, Mufflers, Sidepipes, Zoomies, Powerstroke or Powerstroke60 you need to delete those. This has really turned out to be more of a pain than anything releasing these because it doesn't seem to work the same for anyone. And as always feel free to skype me with any questions.

I uploaded my sounds to the scrapyard a few weeks ago so they could be mine. My set doesn't apply the same sound to every truck though. And if anyone was having trouble with them working it's because of the soundscript files in the trucks Outlawed uploaded conflicted with the soundscript file I made when I uploaded the pack. Simply delete the soundscript files that were included with the trucks Outlawed uploaded and then everything should work fine.

I'm gonna have to call bs on that truck being yours. Maybe I'm wrong but a week ago the McFadden's owned it and have for the last several years as far as I knew. The only reason I know this is because they routinely kick our ass every time we race them. And if that's a 434 it's the sickest 434 I've ever seen. We run a 413sbc spraying it down with a 400 shot of nitrous (which equals out to around 1000hp total) and can't touch them. Here's our jeep running with the Naughty Rabbit in the background at the June 8th race at Iola. Hey I could be wrong, it could have sold I guess. But until I hear to the contrary, cool story bro

I think the problem lies in one of the original v4 pack scripts. The LongTube.soundscript in the v4 needs a line changed to keep from conflicting with any of my sounds. Just locate the LongTube.soundscript in your v4 pack and change the line as follows...should work fine then.

Unfortunately there's really no easy solution. You gotta find a good sound clip where the sound stays steady to begin with then you have to edit it and layer it and do the best you can to smooth out the loops, or skips as you say. It's not as simple as just ripping a sound clip from a monster truck video and hoping for the best. You can get ahold of me on aim or skype and I can try to help you more if needed. It's really a slow process sometimes and will make you want to pull your hair out when making custom sounds...
