About This File

Monster Jam is back?

Had this track on the backburner for about two months, talked with @Mario_Ortega and @Chris Bto try and get this stitched together, I did the entire racing track, Mario made the freestyle track, and Chris helped with getting the sand drags area slippery. Overall I think it's a good track for what it's worth.

Hope you all enjoy!

Sorry, something is messed up with this track. The black jump ramp doesn't work at all, on either the racing or the freestyle tracks. Truck tires get stuck while going over it. The Black car which is inside the car stack in front of it on the freestyle version was painted with tar. Truck tires immediately get stuck and trapped on it. Not much else to do here once you take away this jump feature. The bus jump is nice though. It's a short drag track so obviously no timer on it.

Edit: Apparently i've been informed that this jump ramp is not for monster trucks, its for cars. I don't understand why the collision mesh can't be fixed to work with both so that everyone can have fun. But hey, what do I know.

Meh.

Could've been better for what it's worth.

Main thing, the dirt texture looks like a solid color and very ligth color, it also seems you used a very poor quality texture of dirt

On the videos the dirt looks very bright becuase of how VHS handled colour and it being kinda overexposed in some parts.

The green on the ramps is very saturated and the chalk looks like noddles, i recommend using Photoshop's Kyle Ultimate Charcoal brush for those.

I find intriguing the fact that you actually painted the shadows for the cars and that, very interesting technice for FPS kinda tracks, but still mostly useless and unncesary since you are not doing the shadows of any other object which make the stuff look ominous and weird.

Also, the sand has a snow grip, kinda counterintuitive there buddy.

Very meh track, could've been better.
