  1. so now we're removing posts just about color concerns? now this is just getting kind of sad
  2. working on the escalade neons glow animation does this look neonish? it's an emission texture so this'll act as 'light', emitted from the actual tube, overdrawn to simulate glow. i'll add flares to give off 'real' light which emits onto the frame/ground now if only i could make custom lightwarps
  3. made some neons for escalade. blue bits are glass, purple bit is the actual neon tube. and yes, it does glow ingame. still working on an animated emission texture so the light will flicker like real neons. if i can be bothered i'll make some custom flares that are long enough to suit the tubes, if you have your grahpics settings up they do project light onto the ground and other meshes if the moon aligns 'n stuff. should look neat and yes, i could make them toggleable with the headlights key, but that's too much work. keypress events 'n such
  4. why has nobody taken my THPS points run yet
  5. Why yes it is mediocre. it isn't the best thing in the game, and it isn't by any stretch of the imagination bad, which means it's mediocre, neither here nor there. besides, people were calling it awesome in particular which spurred the thought, thus, i said it was in fact, not awe inspiring brilliance wrought from the very fabric that god himself used to knit the universe together, thus it it's not bloody well awesome. also i like how someone removed my other post. all aboard the conformation bias train, whoo whoo
  6. awesome is an incredibly strong word and i wish people would stop taking/using it with a grain of salt
  7. funny, this is how good i remember myself being (protip: no i wasn't)
  8. i should refinish it with some of the parts i'm making for ratty
  9. always loved rush, and demko, i'm sure if you played the N64 port of 2049 at any extent, this should warm the depths of your heart to a raging inferno of nostalgia and love don't worry, it's even harder than the original and for those who don't get it
  10. not really. making one and a half games, working on a sim, doing post secondary portfolios, trying to get items into team fortress, wrangling the kind of despotic ninnies one finds in life and trying to line up a few careers at once doesn't leave me with much time, this is just something to do for fun.
  11. how did that thing get released, i thought i never finished it
  12. transmission's only 1/3d of the way there, hell of a lot of shapes to work in
  13. yeah i know, i scanned it from a notebook coming on 3 years ago now and i haven't touched it since. thing is i can't draw no more so i can't really mend it either
  14. ok, select the broken part, hit control A and hit "apply scale" then hit control a again and hit "apply location" this should mend it
  15. but why Also i'm texturing ratty, which is a stelwart reminder of how poo i am at texturing, but i have found a neat trick that at least quadrooples the clairity of an image without losing any memory. same size, same resolution, gobstopping results. the grit is going to be metallic paint, before you couldn't even see the detail in the paint. and not to mention all the edges around the rust, and in fact the rust itself was blurred byond recognition. but now it's clear as day. brilliant
  16. i fail to see how this would cause something to completely disappear
  17. EN GUARDE pretty crap this. dropped the ball a few times, but i can't be bothered to do better as i'm doing other stuff i still play the PC version of that. fun as hell
  18. i'm talking about in blender, the object properties for the other parts are probably wrong
  19. my gues is that the object perametres were off, so it's either too small to see, or somewhere off having an adventure in space due to placement
