  1. these are all i have to go with counted the spine spikes as eleven, front spikes as four, six down the hood, six on each of the front fender pauldrons, seven on the rear ect There's nothing to fix, it really is like that I traced the shape from this So no, not really
  2. pretty well actually. still tinkering, waiting for BeamNG before i really get to work. plus i'm sort of making two other games, writing a book, working on post secondary stuff, plus BeamNG is going to have a better editor UI, so i'm waiting on that, but other then that prototyping is going pretty well. Just drawing a few node concpts out on paper right now. and i like how you can't defend the actual realism of V4 or v5, whatever it is this week. all you can do is challenge others using "LET'S SEE YOU DO BETTER", and relying on the nearly fascist community, relying on the assumption of brilliance to prove the argument against it's own foundation. the world deserves better than what this site's putting out as a sim, and you'd be laughed out of polycount if you put any of the v4 models on there while saying "this is for my very serious sim which is respected by industry professionals"
  3. maxxy's nearly there. currently halfway through mapping, then i'll add the hardest part, which are the louvers, and they'll just be stitched into the UV as is >realistic handling >sim monsters yeah no
  4. i see an auspicous lack of the wheelie bar on the back also make the vancouver version with "USA" literally duct taped over
  5. RKM defending what i have to say? these are the end times
  6. something tells me CRD's getting a big order for new bars tonight
  7. oh god those prerunner bodies are a mess. also roger has a few airbrushed skulls on destroyer, apologies for the horrendous photo And dobule trouble's got a different, deeper metallic colour on it, and the scheme is pretty different from what you've got there. Again, sorry for horrendous quality.
  8. welp my exporter for .65 produces broken models and .49 doesn't want to produce a scripts folder so i can install the old one guess i'll just sit here going blblblblblbblblbbllblbl until something fixes itself
  9. .38 is more stable, better looking, better running, and you won't have 45 posts a day going OMG WHY WON'T TIRES WORK
  10. JUST. REMOVE. THE SPACES. IN FILE NAMES PROBLEM SOLVED
  11. the metal mulitia CRD under king krunch?
  12. yeah, but that's why i respect split saves more, harder to pull off, plus they have a sense of drama that lockers dont when they're parked in limbo like that
  13. Especially when i'm overtly asking for it
  14. i think having lockers sort of takes away from saves. not to say that they're not saves, it just takes proportionately less skill when you don't have to think about where the weight is going on the rears so you don't dig into an unpowered wheel on the front and flop over. i do think it's not a save though, because yes, he landed on someone's truck and wouldn't have gotten out of it if he had open space
  15. >be bantering with ethan >idea comes up for 8 bit truck >I think i know which to build. technically it'd have to be 16 bit, but you get the idea.
  16. oh those bits yeah ok, fair point. gonna go mend that then
  17. yes they do Already like that was that you? i thought it was someone like gavin hill. sorry
  18. Redid the front end to max-d, got the front end looking better and more 'sad' while still being sharp. max-d's is truly a great body. I really respect whoever designed it way back in 1999. I've also started on the spiked body as well. soon as the shell is done i'll start on the arch flares and the face thingy Spent a bit of time cleaning up the wireframe as well, should crumple nicely over a flexbody still a lot to clean up obviously Thoughts? and for god's sake don't just say "OMG THAT'S AWESOME UR TEH BEST LEL" Let's try something new, one serious criticism per compliment. And yes i'm aware that the louvers at the back aren't there yet and i've yet to put in the angled engine by ridges. anyway, ready set go.
