  5. I knew the voice actor for Robotonik, he was one of the best people i've ever known. Baldry was a friend of Dad's, when dad was over in england in '71-'74 trying to start a british music career, before coming back and starting/joining https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VyH_TTszwS8. However, while in england, after sleeping with Ron Wood's girlfriend first night in london after his first trip to the Marquee, he was invited to the studios where the stones were recording, and was introduced to Baldry when he was doing Good to be Alive, and was incredibly good friends with him ever since, until Baldry died in 2004. Baldry was an incredible person and i admire him wholly

Charicters are massivly expanded, tackles social issues, abstract concepts, philisophical questions, and does it while still being brilliantly depressing, hilarious, and with a healthy dose of slapstick and juvinile humor beside the high ideals and complex jokes i miss the ninties man

  13. Coming to a BeamNG near you someday mabye Honestly the biggest problem now is the suspension. The front is going to be cantaleaver suspension similar to the original snakebite, as it ran with front cantaleavers for a few weeks before going traditional, you can see the start of the mounts up front. The rear is going to be J arms with a big spring/sway bar assembly around the rear boot. intended for BeamNG as a little showcase thing for a ThinkTank application, as well as brass beast and some other stuff. should be fun to drive about, unique if nothing else

  15. i made it ages ago already, edge loops are a complete mess though also this, because i hate you Honestly though, the model is a mess, i can spot a few dozen broken faces even without going into edit mode. Not to mention the actual skin is just purely terrible. i don't even think it's even worth releasing
  16. why does CVH's truck have sway bars? seems really strange to have sway bars on a coil truck, nothing but a limitation

AO bakes rely on scene lamps in blender, so make sure every angle of your model is covered by at least one lamp, make sure it looks 'proper' in shaded view (under textured in .49, or just textured in anything above .5) and be sure to jack up the AO passes in the world tab, which removes the 'grit' from the AO bake, otherwise everything looks like quake II with textures of a higher resolution than six. also set it as soft light in photoshop, or hard light with a low transparency, a really stiff bake just ruins a model, as it leaves nothing to the actual shading ingame, but seeing as all the SM materials used are just horrible shadless flat colour, mabye it's best to leave it on high. But none the less, the art of making something look nice is simply the use of subtlety. soft colours, nice shading and soft occulsion looks good, and actually sells colour more than pure saturation and horrible ungodly shading or ostentatious lackthereof. also i see a lot of project from view mapping on that model. please don't do that, especially if you're relying on AO bakes for model definition

  20. So why does the little window sill on the cab have an AO bake, but everything else is unshaded flat saturated misery
