Decided to remake the Hot Shoe Truck since the other one didn't look right to me, I'm going to put a new chassis and have a new suspension put on it, I'm going to basically redo the whole truck.  Nowhere near done.

If my truck "didn't look right to you" then don't look at it.

I am a bit annoyed that you thought that you could go ahead and do whatever you please with my piece.

Listen, it's wonderful that you are finally tinkering and learning how to do this stuff. I applaud you for learning and trying to throw in with the rest of this community to produce content, but you really should have asked for my permission before doing whatever you please with my truck.

I know I haven't been around as of late, but I do still stop by to see what you all are working on, until I hopefully get the drive to finish/produce content again. That being said, you could have e-mailed me via this site. I would have received the message and let you know asap if it was ok or not.

So sorry to burst your bubble, but I'd rather you cease from continuing on any modifications to my piece. In the future, please contact me first and wait to hear word from me before thinking about noodling with my content again.

  2. My favorite content that I've made would no doubt be Clarkson International Autodrome.

While I don't know what has become of the league entirely, this track originated from being in discussions with Alex Vester on a schedule for the inaugural IDS-RoR season. I liked the idea of a venue in the UK. Alex agreed that it would be a cool idea. Yet we were stuck on what kind of a venue could be created. He finally said "just make a stadium and throw a random name on it." I then blurted out "Clarkson Stadium", to which he replied "oh my God! Do it!"

Of course I wanted it to be more than a mere stadium with a random name on it. So I knew I had to go all out. Jr Seasock suggested a circular stadium with a circular floor. He also thought up the race course. The rest was my affair. The entire stadium, the incorporation of giant animated screens displaying Clarkson's face, the animated digital banners, the custom made models of Morris Marinas, Ford Transits, and Caravans to name a few. Much love and attention was poured out onto this track to give it the right look and feel.

I'm still super proud of it. I like all the pieces of content I created. But this one is my favorite.

  3. MTD for me is the optimal mobile monster truck experience. It may lack Monster Jam trucks, the tracks may not be all that realistic, nor are the moves you can pull off in the game. However, as far as mobile monster truck gaming goes, I prefer something fun to pass the time with over something overly realistic.

If I want to play a realistic monster truck game, I'd jump on my pc and play RoR.

  4. i want a beta pack soooo bad

I want you to shut up SOOOOOOOO bad.

what was the website the trucks were found on

Yeah go ahead. That's a great idea, asking about stuff like that. You'd be no better than this person in question who went about trying to find a way to get an early look at the V5 pack, subsequently causing all this grief, and this discussion. Nor would you be any better than the losers out there who are able to gain access to spoilers, scripts, and other such information from a developer working on today's console and pc games, resulting in that company having to extend development time, take damage control, and suffer financial headaches at the result of a no life loser who couldn't just wait, or be patient.

Do us, and yourself a favor: stop whining, asking, and spamming about this pack or the contents therein. You'll get a taste of it when we all get a taste of it.

Or continue. Maybe that would result in your ass getting permabanned from these forums, doing us all a favor.

    I certainly wouldn't miss you.

  5. Now that we understand each other, I must agree that none of this is helping matters. Whether we have V5 or not is again, not the end of the world. Content will come. Not in the form of a big pack, but by smaller releases at a time. That eases the pressure on the development staff and gives the guys on the sidelines an opportunity to contribute their talents to the cause. It's an opportunity.

Where one door closes, another opens.

And whatever was currently in production and close to completion won't be dropped. It'll be finished eventually and released, to those who have their undies in a bunch over such matters.

  6. Watch your attitude, slick.

That is NOT what you said. You clearly stated

There's a good chance what had leaked wasn't even finished anyways.

As what was stated in the inital post:

to get half finished content that sadly does not even remotely showcase what we had in store,

So "there's a good chance" shouldn't have factored in to it if you read it.

  7. There's a good chance what had leaked wasn't even finished anyways.

You obviously didn't read the initial post. What he got wasn't any where close to finished.

I'm sorry, but it is minute. Absolutely. I realize what he had done was wrong and that nobody likes it, but I fail to see the reasoning as to why it would stop the project. There's a good chance what had leaked wasn't even finished anyways.

Nothing is minute about a hacker going in behind your back, invading one's privacy, trespassing where they don't belong to steal and damage. I'm glad you think this is a matter that can so easily be swept under a rug, but to those involved, it could have lead to numerous other headaches.

This is already turning into MTM2. It really just sounds like an excuse to give up on the project as a whole.

I fail to see what you mean by "already turning in to MTM2".

In MTM2 we didn't have a dedicated group working on truck packs. Whoever wanted to create whatever truck they wanted to see made was able to do so through having the models provided to them. It was left up to those users to fill in the gaps. If a certain Grave Digger didn't exist, then one, two or three users individually, or as a group would work to bring the truck to the community. Eventually, current trucks were brought to the community at a more rapid pace instead of huge leaps, months or years at a time.

  8. I love how an announcement like is made, and most of the annoying "takers" on this site who don't contribute anything useful to the community throw a tantrum and whine about how "they wanted this truck so bad" or "THIS IS PISSING ME OFF" in regards to a pack not being released.

All ya'll whiners just shut up, because it pisses ME off.

It's sad to see V5 "go out" like this, after the effort and hard work that was put in to it. I think a majority of us are a bit disappointed by the outcome. I however can live with it. I'm not an ungrateful no life peeve who's life just ended just because a virtual pack for a video game won't see the light of day as intended.

It's a sad state of affairs. However, I do believe you guys made the decision that you felt was right to make. I'm just sorry that your hard work in this pack seemingly was torn to bits by some jackoff.

I don't see it why everyone should be punished for a troll's action. By feeding him, hes the only one with the content and we get jack squat. I say continue on because if not, then this looks to me like it's an excuse to not finish it. Take your time with it, it wasn't going to be released til next year anyway. By that time comes around I am sure most people will have forgotten about it. I really doubt a kid would go out of his way to hack a someones profile in which I doubt the content was even kept anyway.

And what content is that? As was stated, what this loser got away with isn't even a resemblance to what we could have expected from V5. The next line of your post can be taken as a slap in the face. These guys are surely not looking for an "easy way out". If they wanted an excuse not to finish the pack, they would have found one better than this.

Have you contributed anything to this community? Who are you to make this statements? Even if these guys did want to stop working on the pack, isn't that their choice?

It is done on their own time, their own schedules. They don't owe us anything. They don't even have to work on this stuff. Especially not when in the end, it's released in to the hands of ungrateful users who lose their head when they hear content won't be released that they somehow feel entitled to.

My above statement deviates from the topic at hand. In the end, this isn't the end of the world. To those who are getting worked up because they won't get Grave Digger, or feel it's unfair that now they won't get the pack need to ease up, and shut up. Find a different hobby if this bothers you so badly.

  9. I fail to comprehend what is even being said, or what you are trying to convey (if anything) with this post.

I don't know why I bothered, but I tried twice to read your post and now I feel as if my brain cells are committing suicide one by one.

  10. I've no problems using/hosting through media fire. I like hosting through them a lot more than GameFront. I'll be will continuing to host my content through mf.

  11. Ya know, I've got two Different old school venues available on this site, with multiple tracks per venue.

The truck itself is amazing in detail, handling, suspension travel, and it's cool to see the drive shafts etc. turn as you move along. It does seem that the truck is a tad too bouncy physics wise, but that's just my opinion. Overall, wonderful stuff!

  12. Sorry. This isn't a fail picture, but how about what you can consider to be a fail video?

My wreck/break at Mankato Speedway Criss Crossover-Rama while racing against Mark Colineri. One of the coolest breaks I've ever had. You can see when the rear tire hits the top of the vans how the truck breaks.

After the break and the subsequent rollover, you can see how the truck was acting. The rear end was trying to come around on the front end as a result of the rear steering being out of alignment with the front, and how the rear end was lop sided like the rear suspension broke.

  13. File Name: Mankato Speedway - Criss Crossover-Rama

    File Submitter: Hot Shoe

    File Submitted: 15 Aug 2013

    File Category: Tracks

    *****Important Disclaimer*****
Due to some users having experienced lag, the Low Lag version has had the fencing deleted off the track, as this has been the most common reason for lag experienced by these users. That is all I’m going to do in an attempt to make this track as low lag as possible, while still keeping MOST of its integrity.

If you do experience any lag, I tried my best. In the case of such an event, it will most likely be the amount of vertices used in the making of the ramps spread out over the track, or your system/machines inability to properly run the track.

The sky sphere, horizon, light poles and beams of light, stands, and billboards do not cause lag, so refrain from asking such questions. You have your answer here and now.

Please keep in mind that no amount of de-lagging is a sure thing. It’s called LOW LAG, not NO LAG for a reason.

    Information:
Mirror 1 is the FULL VERSION.
Mirror 2 is the LOW LAG VERSION.

    Description:
Mankato Speedway – Criss Crossover-Rama is yet another track brought to you by the minds at Demolition Tracks Creations, offering a new evolution to one of the better known and more popularly ran track configurations, the Crossover Course.
This however, is no ordinary crossover course. Brought to you from the mind of Jr Seasock, and the course built by David Stewart, Mankato Speedway Criss-Crossover-Rama will provide all comers with a challenging and thrilling venture. Racers will have to negotiate the twisty layout which features three jumps and crossovers per lap, totaling to six crossovers for the entire course.
When the sun goes down, the Mankato Speedway lights will go up. If this new Criss-Crossover layout wasn't challenging enough, racers will have to brave the course in the dark with only the Mankato lights guiding there way.
    Welcome to Mankato Speedway’s Criss-Crossover-Rama!
