Same could be said for the upvotes, I say lose the voting system all together.
Says the one who is really nothing more that a troll who should stay hidden in the dark.
Anyway, I fail to see your point. How could the upvoting system be abused? I find it a rather helpful, fun system. People use it to show approval of a project, or they use it as a form of agreement for what a person has said in a topic. I don't ever upvote just for the hell of. I liken it more to Facebook's Like button. It's rather nice to have when you do not wish to make a whole post just to say "hey, that project looks good", or "I agree with what you have said."
I can also see the harm in what a downvote button could do. It would end up in forum fights, and private messaging fights. Over time, it would end up with the mods getting a needless amount of spam messages from users whining over how one person downvoted their post, and why they think it isn't right.
The very idea could cause a lot of un-needed headaches and grief, imo.
If something isn't broken, don't fix it I say.

You're right. I got my years mixed up between the Mangusta and the Pantera. Thanks for brining that to my attention.

It is nigh impossible to narrow it down to just one dream car. Hear are mine:
Practical daily driver: Nissan Altima:
Ferrari F430:
Koenigsegg CCX-R (yes I spelled Koenigsegg properly without having to look it up):
1971 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 (Full Bumper):
1970 Plymouth Hemi Cuda:
1971 DeTomaso Pantera: Italian styling with a Detroit heart.
And one of my all time favorite looking cars. Some may have never heard of it. Some may recognize it. The Cody Coyote.

that for blender 2.49 not for 2.65, read the title next time .
Oooooooh. So sorry Hagan that I didn't completely pay attention to the topic title rendering the above information useless to you. I will try to pay more attention in the future, if only to not upset you.

Disregard. Apparently I wasn't paying attention.

John Dough, again man, fantastic work on the Raptor! The Metal Mulisha scheme is brilliant. Looking forward to thrashing that thing!
-
My God, John! Micro Machines gave me a gut punch while simultaneously head butting me in the face! What an amazing look piece! Amazing work!
And John Dough, brilliant stuff with the Ford Raptor. Those graphics look sick.

Welcome RIPTheDeadSpaceKilla! I'm Hot Shoe. I was at Vales from 2002-2006. Always great to have another MTM2 vet join us!
IDS is still around. As of now it has been on hiatus until Alex is able to resolve some personal matters. If you like, make your way to the signups thread and send one in!

Welcome!

Spamming a topic mindlessly screaming HELP doesn't gain you any HELP!

I'm in love! Great work, John!

Clicked the topic, saw the incoherent wall of endless text, hit the back button.

Even if it was, you the authors are more than welcome to set it down and pick it back up when it suits you. MOST of us understand how time consuming a project like this can be, and that personal lives/circumstances are far more important than any add-on.
You guys do this on YOUR time. SOME of us can PATIENTLY WAIT for V5.
I'm still enjoying V4.

It has been discussed numerous times that this pack will include new/updated/realistic sounds.

Ditto what Demko said. Utilise the edit button for future reference. ;-)
I must say I quite like the wild paint on Never Satisfied. Looks great.
-
I imagine we'd know when they have more updates to post for us. Why wouldn't it be "getting there" or something?
-
John, I'm so exited to get behind the wheel of both Stomper and USA-1. Your work is amazing!

This video was made as an exclusive sneak peek of Mankato Speedway Criss-Crossover-Rama. This video was made shortly after the layout and crossover jump ramps were made in order to give my beta team a reference and idea on how to run this track. I think it's kinda cool to see how much the track has developed since this video was made, which is why I decided to make the video public.
Finished racing version:

You're correct Patrick. Sky spheres for the day and night versions. Lights using alpha transparency. There is no need for a time laps as one is a "Day" version and the other a "Night" version.
The code I'm using is from Klayton's amazing Orlando 2013 rep, along with his light flare texture (huge thank you again Klayton for letting me use that texture!)

Demolition Tracks Creations brings to you a new evolution to one of the better known and more popularly ran track configurations, the Crossover Course.
However, this is no ordinary crossover course. With the layout being brought to you from the mind of Jr Seasock, and the course built by David Stewart, Demolition Track Creations reveals to you this new variation that would only be fitting to debut at the mecca of all things motorsports since 1955: Demolition Track Creations and the Mankato Motorsports Racing Authority presents the Criss-Crossover-Rama racing course!
Utilizing the entire size/length of the Mankato Speedway, the Criss-Crossover-Course will provide all comers with a challenging and thrilling venture. Racers will have to negotiate the twisty layout which features three jumps and crossovers per lap, totaling to six crossovers for the entire course.
When the Sun goes down, the Mankato Speedway lights will go up. If this new Criss-Crossover layout wasn't challenging enough, racers will have to brave the course in the dark with only the Mankato Lights guiding their way.
Also, the DTC and MMRA have kindly provided a reference video of how the course is ran:
Welcome to Mankato Speedway’s Criss-Crossover-Rama!

I don't see you contributing anything, Kearney.
Not that PC needs me defending him (thats not what I'm attempting to do in this post), but PC is entitled to his own opinion just the same as you.
If you don't like what he has to say then you can always choose to keep quiet about it and ignore his remarks.
My apologies. I don't mean to sludge this topic up with another pointless argument. It's just aggravating to see someone attempt to correct what someone said or how they chose to say it. I guess in that regard, I too could have ignored your remarks.

Can't wait to see it Tom. Love your tracks!

And the man who suggested that the voting system be completely removed upvotes another post. That's a bit hypocritical, innit?
