  1. Most of us that were mainly MTM2ers played 1NSANE a bit but it never got as much success as MTM2 though that could perhaps be a result of our time being spent trying to kill each other during capture the flag...fun times and extremely amusing watching 7 trucks all go after one poor guy.

    The "Jeep" also gets stuck very easily with the new demo update so I tend to stick with the big truck to see if I can get it stuck in mud...so far I have not.

Monster Jam has always had smaller sponsors they don't specifically need to have a title sponsor to be successful but it does help...but title sponsor or not don't expect Monster Jam to just disappear because of it. Personally my only hope is they have varying track colors...not sure about the rest of you but I got rather bored with the red and yellow the second time they used it for the World Finals. Would be an interesting thing for sure, possibly similar to what Robby Gordon has with Stadium Super Trucks I would like to think.

    I'm sure most who follow weather already know this, there were rumors going around early this morning but it is now confirmed. https://www.facebook.com/RipTimPaulSamarasAndCarlYoung?fref=ts Tim Samaras and his son Paul along with their chase partner Carl Young also known as Team TWISTEX were killed in the tornado that hit El Reno, OK. If any of you watched Storm Chasers on TV you've likely seen or heard of them. R.I.P.

    What he said, the only known and possible conversion from MTM2 that can be done is .bin and nothing else...but it would be quite lovely to convert an entire .pod file and pick it apart in blender.

  10. It's not the system that is broken but it is sometimes those who are chosen to present it...seems like your idea just over-complicates a simple well known and understood format.

Interesting list you have there, I like some of the ideas but to me your list has a bit of an arcade feel more than simulation to me but I'm also realizing you have a lot of listed things for offline play which I also like. One thing I will instantly agree on that is missing is an instant replay that you can view races in slow motion and export the replay as a video file for easy upload to YouTube.

I'll try not to start this off too long but I was just recently thinking while talking to Mark (Iron/Werner) about a few random things and I wandered off on to what could be the possible future of monster truck simulations after Rigs of Rods and I think there is a strong potential that it could be created by several of us here. We all know exactly what every one of us wants...as realistic monster truck sim as we can possible get our hands on (well most of us anyway). Some of you may not know but there have been several attempts at this back in the MTM2 days but they were either scrapped, lost or those working on it just lost interest or had no free time to develop it any further. With how many great game engines there currently are I think it is indeed possible for it to happen but not many of us have any sort of game developing or coding knowledge. Now the obvious issues that come up right away if you give any thought to this is going to be licensing for things such as names, bodies, chassis, etc though I am sure there may be some teams out there that would love this type of idea. I don't know about all of you but I certainly would enjoy being involved with something that could change the way monster trucks and monster truck games are viewed around the world...it honestly has got to be one of the largest fan bases without a licensed or official simulation game and I find that quite sad personally. This is mainly to spark conversational and hopefully it can one day lead to something incredible. A few honorable mentions of monster truck games and attempts at them will be listed below.   14. Been listed for a little while now but don't ask me for any details because I do not know any. That truck (or chassis mostly as almost all of the parts put on have been refreshed) is really old in monster truck years. It started it's life as one of the first Eradicator race trucks which would make it around 14-15 years old. 1999 2002 2005 It became Backdraft in 2006.

  17. Klayton you really need to make track texturing tutorials once you are completely satisfied with that type of texturing because so far it looks to be the most realistic dirt textures we have. Truly looks incredible.   19. Decided to make a few changes before I re-upload it to fix the broken download.
  20. Skimmed through a few videos and I have a few suggestions. Game Volume: While it is nice to hear the games it is rather pointless to do some sort of commentary over it if it completely drowns out your own voice. Voice Volume: In each of the videos I skimmed through I could barely tell anyone was talking at all unless you were doing some sort of scream/squeal. The Music...I know it was only for a short amount of time but if you want music I think you should leave it at the end of your videos with more information (Facebook page, subscribe, etc) Now this part bothered me a little though it may not bother others at all, I disliked the few bits of complaining I heard in the one happy wheels video and granted it was probably in a sarcastic manner it was hard to decipher it due to the previously mentioned volume issues. I can see a point if there was a legitimate bug or glitch but just because you keep dying on a level or killing yourself via sword throws that is entirely on you not the creator of the level. I don't know of many people that want to spend 10-20+ minutes watching someone play a game and complain throughout a lot of the duration of a video so I would suggest trying to hold back on that. You are 15 according to your profile here so don't take the voice comments too harshly as your voice will likely change quite a bit in the future (or maybe not but you just never know with certain things). On your channel you have Tobuscus and Pewdiepie as featured channels so a wise idea would be to study some of the things they do as you're watching them and don't be afraid to go back to some of their earlier videos to see what they've changed. Hopefully what I've written can help you out in some way without being too negative granted I only looked at about 3-4 videos but noticed a common issue right from the start in all of them, future suggestions I would give you would be a higher quality microphone, editing software you are used to and know your way around (video & audio). Good luck with your channel. Oh yes, I almost forgot something...don't be afraid to speak clearly (and sometimes that may be louder then you are used to sitting by yourself) or if you are afraid of bothering or waking anyone then try to schedule your recording time so it does not interfere with any others you may be living with. Also I see you have 2 different accounts listed above in the post and then in your signature, my suggestion on that is choose the one you want to grow the most and focus on just that one channel.

  24. We can still get Tornadoes, location has nothing to do with it but more of the perfect conditions for them to form. Best advice I can give to anyone when it comes to severe storms pay attention to the wind speeds and if it feels like a cool wind if it was hot earlier as the storm gets closer the wind will pick up and feel a lot colder then at first...other then the obvious look at the sky for dark clouds/rain curtains. Where I live I've never seen a wall cloud since there is always a lot of rain at the front of the storm but I have seen pictures of them from nearby towns of storms that have passed over me. Anything else you could probably just Google and read (some of those reads can be quite lengthy but offer a lot of information) Remember, just because it hasn't happened doesn't mean it can't.
