  1. Less back-flips....yeah right. Zimmer was more of a racer before getting in a Digger and to me still is but he's always one to watch out for in freestyle, I don't get why Team Scream as a whole get so much crap about racing...sure they might not win many (or sometimes any) races compared to a Feld driver but they've been progressively improving every year but nobody seems to ever notice it. We all know that Team Scream is more known for those wild/insane freestyles but when they start winning races no one should really be surprised by it. No matter how much it annoys us there will always bee someone (or a few) undeserving competitors in the world finals to us, but all most others see is a truck will either flip or get totally destroyed or be generally boring and cost less to repair...now if only they would start airing it live again.
  2. To me it seems he's probably trying to sell it as a package deal to get more for it then just the truck itself and then likely use the profit to build/buy a new hauler to travel farther. Running semi + a nice trailer is easily $45k+ then add in the monster on top of that. That's what I think he's up to and is solely my personal opinion.
  3. Not too sure what cars/suvs/trucks go for out west but under $1,000 AWD/4X4 and last a while....can be found as long as you don't care about mileage but the higher it is the more the "last a while" comes in to play. Mid size trucks, Jeeps, Subaru's...there's bound to be something in your area but you'll have to dig around to find a good deal and if you want decent gas mileage I would stay away from S10's and Sonoma's. If it's cheap enough you'll have to be willing to look past the automatic only option and seeing as you live in Washington I would drop RWD to the last acceptable choice. Little tip from what I've noticed selling at different times of the year, trucks are generally more popular n the summer and warmer months than cars and the complete opposite in winter/ other cold months There's something out there for everyone but you have to find it first. EDIT The low the ground stuff just stay away from even looking at them if you don't like them. I like trucks as well but that is more due to the fact I have far more leg room in a truck (ext. cabs & crew cabs) over just about any mid-sized car. If you want a smooth ride there are plenty of vehicles out there way smoother then a truck and pay attention to head room, the one thing I hate with smaller cars is if you hit a decent sized pothole or bump I usually smack my head on the roof. Do your research and read about them looking to see what common problems in any vehicles that you like and remember if it sounds too good to be true..it usually is.
  4. Usually I forget to press the screenshot key when doing these things but I remembered for once, a little easier with moving it closer to the arrow keys to...and for the record yes I did save it. Yes the body is broken.

    Advice Please

Good advice up there. ^^ Don't be afraid to ask questions either and if anyone asks something along the line of "Hey do you know how to do or do you want to learn how to etc" be honest with those because you never want to get stuck trying to fix something you have no clue what you're doing. If your given the chance to learn something new then learn it also there are quite a few heavy items that may need to be removed or brought it from outside the arena (fuel jugs, extra parts etc) so if you're uncomfortable or unable to lift heavy objects currently take that as a bit of cautionary measure. Moving tires can be a little strange and challenging if you've never done it before, they can be unpredictable and extremely wobbly and if you happen to drop one onto its side don't try to pick it up by yourself and you will most likely hurt yourself trying to do so. From what I've noticed most new crew members are started off by cleaning the truck off to remove dust/dirt, tiring up and down (assuming you're there when either occurs), helping with refueling. Don't expect to get a lot of sleep if something major breaks either, most big time repairs are done overnight at the smaller shows. One last thing, if you don't already use some sort of hearing protection then I would highly recommend you do so if you're going to be close to trucks. You can't fix the damage once it's done. Just a few things I thought of after reading some of the above posts and a few of my own past experiences, hopefully it's not too much of a jumbled mess and gives an idea of what to expect.
  6. Would be nice if we could get almost everyone active in this but I don't see it happening so for the next season plan on it being private and by invitation only (via email) also I figured I would post this as a notice since the trade deadline is approaching. Trade Deadline Friday, March 15, 12PM ET ACTIVE TEAMS Straight Outta Conklin Florida Red Wings Anal Beads Saad Suteration Canadian Bacon If you forgot the link just click the one in my signature and bookmark it, also make sure you adjust your rosters per day so all your players who are scheduled to play gather points for your team.
  7. Like them or not they are the reason we've advanced the way we have.
  8. I like these cars but I do have a few questions to ask you, do you use a normal render site over car viewer such as ten0r's render shop? I also think a great idea would be to use the same number style that the team uses on their jerseys/sweaters and seeing how most race cars have 2 paint schemes or more you could do alternate (away) versions from the home version and perhaps even their alternates if you become quite bored.
  9. I immediately thought of the same things, we sure could use someone to teach advanced language classes around here.
  10. A few months ago this creature went into hiding in an underground lair possibly to never be heard from again. It has since resurfaced in the early morning hours of March the fourth two thousand thirteen. -CRAZY!!!!!!!!!! Thank YOU for saving my favorite version of this truck and actually sending it back to me to complete!
  11. That's only when I play online, I actually discovered with this PC having the chassis on or off only takes about 5-10FPS.
  12. Never assume what you see is 100% what it appears to be.

    Advice Please

If your goal is set on strictly driving only then this is not the form of motorsport you should pursue but that doesn't mean it can't happen if you work hard to get there.

    Advice Please

You can start with trying to work on the track crew for some events like a few others have done or see about offering help to an independent team at the shop or an event, just note that under 18 you need parent/guardian permission to be on the floor at events during the show.
  15. Clearly he's been watching too many of my freestyles from ROR.

    Bad Times

Damn, I hate these threads. Hope everything starts to turn around for you, we all have rough patches in our lives to go through and unfortunately sometimes they like to all come at once. Not sure what your status on cell phones are but most of them have basic web access that you can use to come to the site or Facebook. We're always here for each other even if some of us don't like to admit it, if you ever need someone to talk to just blow off steam I'm usually on Facebook chat doing nothing. Good things will come my friend.
  17. I use it for both but that could just be me.
  18. I'm not to familiar with pain.net but most of the high quality skins like what you see in the packs are largely drawn with the pen tool in Photoshop but surely paint.net has a similar feature other then that a good eye for detail and high quality, one of my usual things to do is to find an image of what I'm trying to make and redraw it with the pen tool so it's clearer and the quality is higher. So with that the best advice I can give is learn the pen tool in whatever program you use.
  19. I dig it, clean somewhat futuristic appearance and a fresh feel which I think the site really needed. Strange part is not all that long ago I started looking about custom themes for IP Board and then SM gets a facelift! I have one minor complaint I discovered while typing this. The text at the bottom right of the thread blends in a little with the background, I can still see it fine but it might give others some trouble. EDIT: I'm also experience a little bit of lag scrolling down pages with a lot of images or a video but that could just be my connection though I don't have the issue in this thread. -I'll just edit my post if I find any issues.
  20. Hockey, music, photography, working on cars & trucks and learning about them, racing (NASCAR, off-road, drifting, rally and road racing), studying foreign culture and language, reading, drawing, sharing ideas and learning new things.
  21. Any chance we could get a dedicated forum for cars and trucks so that it's not always buried and threads like this flat-line for a month? I know this is mainly a game community but I'm pretty sure we all like cars and trucks too.
  22. As do I...how many people can say they won freestyle listening to it? I can. Fail-troll.
  23. Then the fine admins of this establishment should report his activity to his internet provider and his local authorities, hacking, malicious attacks and identity theft to name a few.
