  1. Well, glad to hear clutch overload is normal. Thanks for the help. I'll screw around with .38 a bit and see if I can get it to work. Maybe I'll get back to this thread if I get it to work. Thanks again.
  2. Okay so I tried this in .37 (I don't think there is an option to do it in .38) and I got some weird results. I right clicked on accelerate and clicked reverse. I didn't change anything else. What this did for me was 1.) Switch the triggers around so the left trigger was accelerate and the right trigger did not work at all 2.) Whenever I accelerated, I had to do it very slowly and gradually or else a light would show up on the GUI that said clutch overload or something like that. It was the bottom light. So couldn't just gun it. 3.) Like I mentioned, the right trigger did nothing, so there were no brakes. Let me know if I need to reverse anything else or if I did something wrong. Thanks for the suggestion, I can at least drive in one of the games now.
  3. Hello everyone. After not playing this game for a while, I decided I would boot it back up. During the period of time where I did not play it, I downloaded Windows 10. When the game loaded,I picked a track, picked a truck, and I was off. However, when I started the truck and put it into first gear, it went off at full throttle without me pressing a button or holding down a trigger. I found that this happened in all of the versions of ROR I have (.37, .38, and the newest ROR). I am using the input map I made a while ago, and I have not changed anything on that since I made it the first time. I have no idea why this is happening. My only guess is either Windows 10 changed something or something else happened. Any suggestions or thoughts on how o fix this or to determine the cause of this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
  4. Definetly all Halo games. I love the Master Cheif Collection. Reach is pretty fun too.
  5. Makes sense to me. I just wouldn't want to go out and buy a good computer just to run a game or two when I already have one that works great. I'm not expecting this move to happen too soon (at least I hope not) but when/if it does, some of us may face this problem, that's all.
  6. It takes a pretty decent computer to run BeamNG, doesn't it? I can guarantee that not everyone on this site has a pretty decent computer. I've tried the demo of BeamNG and it's pretty crappy for me. I get like 15 FPS or somewhere around there.
  7. My xbox one controller works perfectly fine with RoR.
  8. Awesome trucks. No lag for me with the HD models (hooray). I think these are pretty revolutionary trucks. I would love to see some back wheels falling off in the future. I've only tried them on .38, so I'm downloading .39.5 as I type. Fantastic job! Edit: I don't really see a difference in handling between .38 and .39.5.
  9. All I do for my sounds is extract the zip file with all of the sounds in it, copy and paste the sounds into the V4 pack, and then go into each truck file to put in the sounds I want. To figure out what to write in the truck file, I used truck files that already had different sound and just used those for other truck files. I really hope this helps. Also, in a reply to I didn't really. Armed forces 4.0 comes with a sick train horn so i just used those sounds. Sorry for the super late reply.
  10. Due to Columbus Indiana's horrible efforts to clear the streets, school got cancelled on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday plus a 2 hour delay on Friday due to about 4 and a half inches of snow and some pretty cold weather. I can understand a delay on the days when it was super cold and when it had just snowed, but four days off? C'mon now.
  11. Nice. I like how it seems to land harder and bounce a little more. It feels much more realistic. Great job, it's a lot of fun.
  12. I have used .38 ever since I started playing rigs of rods. I have also been using it for Sim-Monsters and I think the experience is much better compared to .37. I tried out .37 for a while, but the lag over detailed obstacles was really bugging me, coming from .38 to .37 so I switched right back. I am all for this change. I think it is a great idea.
  13. It worked! Thanks a ton!
  14. That must be the problem then because I'm running .38.
  15. This track didn't work for me either. It said the same thing as your World Finals 6 track.
  16. It did not work for me. It said the terrain was not supported.
  17. Well, if the sounds are your problem you can always go into the .truck file to where it says "soundsources". Right underneath that it will have 98, (sound) 98, (sound) and 98, (sound). You can delete the last line and change the other sounds to the sounds that the regular V4 trucks have, so you won't need any other additional sounds. Hope this helps.
  18. Thanks for fixing it!
  19. I'm missing hotwheelsbody.mesh, hotwheelsbody.material, and hotwheelsbody (png)/ I've found the mesh and material, but I have not found the png image. any ideas where I can get that?
  20. Download Son-Uva Digger 2.0 2014. You'll find SUDpeishaft.mesh in the zip.
  21. Try placing the pack in vehicles if you haven't already tried that.
  22. All I do to get an addon truck to work is unzip the addon truck zip file (to make it a folder instead of a zipped file), copy the files in the in the folder, then paste those files into the V4 pack. If it gives you an option to copy and replace a file, copy and replace. Once it is done compressing, I zip the addon truck folder back to a zipped folder, and I put that zip file into vehicles. This works for me every time. If this process does not work for you, let me know. Hope this helps.
  23. I just want to say that I have rigs of rods .38 and the .38 compatible V4 pack and the addon trucks work for me. I have Chris Hamilton's update and Edy Beltran's pack and they both work for me. I have the truck updates (Madusa, Metal Mulisha, Son-Uva Digger, ect.) and they work as well. I do not deny, however, having to add a few files here and there in the packs to get some of the trucks to work or to have to go into the .truck files and modify a few things. I personally do not like .37 that much and I personally think .38 is better and a bit easier to use. Therefore, I think it is well worth it to have to add or change things here to get a truck to work in .38. I'm just saying it's not that difficult to get trucks to work in .38, and if you add the updates to your V4 pack, most trucks will work.
