Then instead of sitting on the problem doing nothing, and continuing to stay within cloning trucks, why not ask SM? You may have too many verts or something and exporting it crashes Blender. I'm not saying don't clone trucks, I couldn't care less what you do, I'm just saying if you wanna make progress in your content creating hobby then you should ask how to fix what's wrong.

As far as updating the body and chassis go you'll have to do it in Blender. Cloning Fuel Injection won't cut it unless you're doing a repli-custom.

Welp this is a total sh!tpost but I don't care. I installed an update for ZoneAlarm (a virus protection program) and it crashed my computer and threw it into an infinite loop of trying to repair it, failing, and shutting down. So I had to reset Windows. All my addon programs (anything not installed on base Windows) are gone, including Blender and RoR, but luckily my files are safe. I won't be showing a project for a little while because it's gonna take a while to recover as my programs were many and it's going to take a lot of time to redownload them. Not to mention I was in the middle of reinstalling all my RoR mods when it happened so gotta do that to. Oh well. F.ck my life. Carry on.

In my honest opinion I think tube frames was the best innovation. It's a design that basically put leafers out of order because they were much more durable, sturdy, and efficient. It was also more spacious so it could hold better parts (better shocks, bigger engines, etc). Its a design still used to this day and was a major innovation back in the late 80's and early 90's.

2022 was just my guess. Keeping him around for as long as he's got doesn't mean my guess, but you're definitely right. This could quite possibly be Dennis's final year(s).

His contract was good until 2017. They'll most likely keep him around for as long as he's got, as he can get it resigned. The closest I can see him leaving is 2022, or the 40th anniversary.

This is true but it wasn't done. He came extremely close both times (beat by Meents by one point 2002, made it to final round but beat by a truck and a half by Seasock 2007) but never successfully achieved it. Seems like there's at least a one year gap that needs to happen (2006 and double down 2016, or two years for 2000, 2004, and 2010).
