  1. JackM requested Ecology Eliminator and since he has done a fantastic job on making engine sounds for this pack as well as making the logo for this truck it was only fitting to get it into game. Turned out pretty great I think! I included the 3 main schemes it ran. Nearly hit my goal of 30 trucks, this would be #28. #29 will likely be a repaint of Eliminator which Cade is working on [Skoal Crusher].
  2. Some actual new trucks to share for once! Keystone Krusher and Maniac! Special thanks to Cade for painting and helping out on these two.
  3. Digger 2 dream is dead. Long live Digger 5!
  4. Almost a month since my last post. Progress has been slow but steady. I'm 1 digger away from having everything I previously made onto the new leafer n/b. Some of these trucks are really looking great I think! After Digger is done, I can start to build new stuff again finally! Cade painted some cool stuff for this which I'm excited to build a chassis for and I have a few other trucks i'm excited to try building. Anyway, here are the 6 trucks I finished up since the last post.
  5. I'm still working on it! It will be released as part of a big leafer pack in the coming months.

My ride for MTP, based off a fairly obscure truck from the early 90s - Mike Beeler's Wrecker. This is largely a repaint of the TNT Buffalo Tremor with some slight modifications and a different shock setup. Body by @Steele Sound by @JackMProductions
  7. Recent updates, finished most of the Fords. Cade painted up Monster Mash and Texas Tumbleweed added as a reskin of Wrecker.
  8. Contact mediafire for support for mediafire. You can upload files on Sim-Monsters without it.
  9. Finished most of the Chevy's. Showed Bear Foot in the last update, here is the rest of them. First Ford done. Love the way it turned out! Will be working on the rest of the Ford's next. Lastly, I picked The Wrecker for MTP, so this is my build for that. Didn't want to put a ton of effort into it since my focus is on the leafer pack so its just a re-skin of Buffalo Tremor.

A snoopy nose on a monster truck!
  11. Been awhile, don't have much "new" to share. Have started a closed beta with a group of smart people. One of the biggest changes was 4 Wheel Crazy. Its been nicely resized with a super short wheelbase and smaller body. Also got a new paint job, although that might not be as noticeable. This is the second truck to be moved over to diggerfans leafer n/b. Progress is being made! At this point in the leafer pack process, the v4 Class 2 settings, those are pretty much done! I'm just moving everything over to the other node/beam now and making wheelbase adjustments. Only other interesting change of late is a new body and new paint job on bearfoot racer which makes things look much better and more crisp.
  12. Cars with 66-inch tires? Yes! For any other tire size you're best heading to the RoR Repository.
  13. Hi, seems you downloaded the leaf spring snake bite from 1991 which, as you pointed out, wouldn't be competitive with modern trucks. Unfortunately Snake Bite hasn't gotten much love over the years on RoR. I can say that someone is developing a new pack which would include an updated Snake Bite body and most, if not all, of its variations. However, I have no idea when or if it will get released. Until then, this sounds like the Snake Bite you should use if you want to race against modern trucks.
Thanks for doing this! Woulda been nice if the spawn point was somewhere in the general stratosphere as the track, but at least the map works great for teleporting.
  14. I didn't have enough to post last week so I saved it for this week. Continuing to rebuild some of the older trucks up to the current standard so all the trucks are of equal quality. Apart from the paint, UFO and AboveNBeyond were completely rebuilt from the ground up. Bounty Hunter has the same body (I think it looks good) but the chassis, interior and engine were completely redone. Reptoid got Swegs new body, but I realized pretty quickly that it wasn't accurate for this model year so I had to redo it to have the correct rear-end. Might be hard to tell that in this image though. Apart from this, was able to build out and test a new replica node/beam for these trucks to move over to. I'm really happy with it, it might be as much fun to drive as TaurusRacers trucks while maintaining correct truck weight and speeds. Anyway, if anyone wants the private build for that hit me up [it only includes The Wrecker].
  15. Thanks to some serious scope creep on this project, the more recent builds for the new leafer pack have far outpaced he quality ones built at the start. So, this week I went back to the start to rebuild a few of them. 4 Wheel Crazy and Invader were completely rebuilt with new everything, they both share almost nothing with the original truck I did for this. 4 Wheel Crazy paint is largely the same, but I've soured on the Invader paint I had done for the replicustom awhile back so I completely redid it here. Master Of Disaster kept its body, but got a fresh coat of paint and an all new chassis. The unfortunate part about the scope creep, is that some trucks will likely get cut. As of now, Gold Dust and Master Blaster are likely not going to make it into the pack. Neither are well known trucks so it just doesn't seem worth the time to get them up to the quality the rest of the pack will be at.
  16. By popular demand, Goldberg Leafer Display Truck! Thanks to Marcelo & xyrose for their work on the body.
  17. Weekly update, 3 trucks this week! Original Buffalo Tremor and Problem Child are both done. Thunder Nationals Predator still WIP, paint isn't done. Also been experimenting with doing what I did with Bearly Tame and have a Arcade and Replica build. Arcade build would be LF Class 2 settings. Replica settings had a private build of The Wrecker floating around to people this week for testing.
I want to deduct a star for not having a timer but the lighting on this track is just so spectacular that I can't do it. I don't even think i'm going to use special photo tracks anymore, I'm just gonna use this baby. Everything looks like a professional made it while driving on this track, even the jankiest of my creations.
  18. Weekly update! First two are pretty obscure leafers ran in the early 90s. I've wanted The Wrecker built since my MTM2 days but didn't have the skills to do it and no one else was willing to tackle it. Super proud to have it done! Original Bad News as well. Not related to the fast traveling kind. Last one is a meme cybertruck custom I built in 2020. Felt like cleaning it up and finishing it. Its stupid. Started on the Original Buffalo Tremor as well, but its not ready to be posted yet.
  19. Night Life and Tropical Thunder. RIP Wayne!
  20. Its not super difficult but it does require some file editing. Lets take one of JackM's new packs as an example. Step 1: Download the below file pack Step 2: Open the .Zip which was just downloaded. Copy all of the files inside the .zip into your trucks folder or zip file. Step 3: We need to find the names of the sound scripts which are part of this Fleet Zoomie pack we just downloaded. Open up the FleetZoomies.soundscript file in notepad. Inside you will find two functions. One called "FleetZoomies" and the other called "FleetZoomiesStart". These are the sound scripts which we need for Rig Of Rods to play sounds when our trucks do something. Remember these names and we can now close this file. Step 4: Open up the .truck file of the truck you would like to add sounds to with notepad. Inside the file, look for a line called "soundsources". Under the line is where we will place the name of our soundscripts so that RoR can attach those sounds to this truck. You should see a number and then a name. The number is the node where the sound will come from. I suggest not changing this value unless you're familiar with node beams, it may be different for every truck. Next to the number is the name of a sound script. We will replace the current sound script names with the two we just retrieved in step 3. Feel free to delete any extra lines which are not used by our new sound files. Below is an example of the end result: soundsources 98, FleetZoomies 98, FleetZoomiesStart Step 5: Save the .truck file and play!
  21. So I originally had no plans on remaking any of TaurusRacers trucks for Class 4 (if that is what I end up calling it) and just making different trucks. As you can see though, that has kind of gone out the window here! I wanted to do a remaster of Grave Digger since the ones in the original packs didn't have the best paint. I think it turned out pretty nice for what it is. Also, the very first Gun Slinger joins the roster!
