Yes, it will. I've tested it in Rigs of Rods version 0.38 with no issues.
  2. Here's a quick preview video I made for the Virginia Giant truck, with some footage recorded during testing prior to release:

  4. Here's a preview of another old school truck project I've been working on...
  5. Unfortunately, yes, they'll only be able to be used offline. They're placed on the track as .load files, which (as I've heard) won't spawn when playing online.
  6. It's been a while since I showed anything from this project, but I've been thinking about possibly adding a second version of the St. Louis 1999 freestyle, with the crushable cars I've been working on.
  7. Here are some paint/detail updates to Virginia Giant... ...as well as some detail updates to Excaliber

  15. Does anyone have any good reference pictures of the flames on the hood of the original Virginia Giant?
  16. I've been working on another old school exhibition car crushing track. This is the 1985 USHRA Truck & Tractor Pull event, from the Riverfront Coliseum in Cincinnati:
  17. Some updates to the paint on Virginia Giant:
  18. To select a truck, you need to go to the "truck shop" building (it should be close to where the character spawns). When you enter the door on the left of the building, it should open up the truck selection menu. Unfortunately, with the way the game handles tracks, if there are .load files on the track (as the crushable cars are), the game disables the automatic truck selection menu, and you need to use the truck shop building. Alternatively, if you are using version 0.38 of Rigs of Rods or newer, if you move the mouse to the top-left of the screen, a menu should appear. From there, you can select "Simulation," then "get new vehicle" to select a truck.
  19. I've figured out what's causing the non-collidable junk cars. In the RoR config, on the "Advanced" tab, make sure you don't have the box checked next to "Disable inter-vehicle collisions."
  20. I'm honestly not sure. I haven't seen any instances in which the cars become non-collidable. As for the lighting, I think it may be caused by the shadow options. It appears that if the "Shadow type" in the RoR config is set to "Texture shadows" or "Parallel-split Shadow Maps," the stadium model casts a shadow over the entire track, causing the darkened appearance.
