Allmonsters Eve 3 marks the third straight year that Allmonster.com has sponsored this online monster truck classic. All of the staff within Allmonster.com grew up playing in the world of MTM2 and could not be prouder to be able to bring back to this community by sponsoring this once a year tradition. This event is the biggest that we run all year. Its the first annual event in Rigs of Rods history and has provided some of the biggest upsets, surprises, an shocking moments within our little piece of the internet motorsports world.

The first Allmonsters Eve in 2010 was presented by Rigs of Rods Monster Jam, Sim-Monsters.com, and Allmonster.com. The track back then was large and meant to provide the biggest event in ROR History. It was so large in fact that, that it took two days to complete. 33 Trucks in one bracket, with a race course designed to provide close to 1 minute laps took quite a lot longer than expected. Racing was difficult, as the trucks back in those days were not designed to handle such tight corners. 1 driver however never had a problem. David Cooley mastered the course in Air Force Afterburner and was able to win the first racing event, as well as taking top qualifier the day before. Freestyle in the 2010 event was held the next day, and shocking the world of ROR with the win was Danny Maass in Chillin' Villian. Danny went out around mid-pack, and impressed the judges enough to have his score sit for the rest of the night well above the rest of the competition.

Last years Allmonsters Eve showed just how far our community had came in just one year. The track was a vast improvement over the year before, jumps no longer looked boxy and nothing looked to over the top. The racing course changed up, with very tight corners providing some close finishes all night long. In the end however, Mark Colineri took home the racing trophy, mastering the course and almost dominating the bracket just as David Cooley did the year before. Freestyle would be a different game however, with drivers pushing it harder than they did the previous year. Michael DesRoaches, the Sim-Monsters Custom Series Freestyle Champion laid down a run that astonished judges. He walked away from the night the AME Freestyle Champion, and certifying that 2011 was indeed his year as far as Freestyle goes.

2012 is a year that has brought about a lot of changes to the world of Virtual Monster Truck Racing. A brand new truck pack was the Sim-Monsters staffs main priority all year long. The idea behind it being that it would provide better racing and freestyle performances for every driver, as well as make the trucks handle as close to the real thing as possible within the games limits. The first person to strike was Eric Myers and the Warbird machine, taking Top Qualifier honors in last nights qualifying session. Tonight the pressure intensifies as 2 new drivers will be enshrined as Allmonsters Eve winners.

Racing Rules:

  1. Both front tires must make clean contact with every jump on the course. If one of the front tires crosses over the white line marking the sides of the jumps, it will be ruled as a 5 second penalty. If the driver that penalizes wins his race, he fore-fits lane choice the next round.
  2. There will be absolutely no lane crossing. If you touch the center line at all, you will be assessed a 5 second penalty as well. If your truck crosses the line with all 4 tires, you will be disqualified.
  3. This year we have brought back the carpad as our finish jump. The end of that jump is NOT the finishline, as it was in AME1. You must land the truck and drag to the finishline marked by the poles at the end of the track. This rule is just a reminder, as most of us are programmed to know that the finishline is generally the end of the final jump.
  4. If you make contact with a freestyle obstacle during your race, you will be assessed a 5 second penalty.
  5. We will NOT wait on you to join the game. If your opponent joins the game, makes it to the starting line, and is left waiting for you: You will be placed on the 3 minute clock. NO EXCEPTIONS. If you cannot connect, it is not our fault and we will move on without you.
  6. Turn Cars are not penalties.

Freestyle Rules:

  1. Big air/Unrealistic air will be tolerated. However if you land awkwardly you will be RII'd and forced to stop your freestyle to allow officials to determine if your truck can continue after your violent hit. If you have any problems with the call, question the officials AFTER the event is over via AIM.
  2. Backflips will be allowed, but as stated above if you land awkwardly you will be shut off and it will be determined among the officials if you may continue.
  3. The more realistic you are, the better you will score. If you continually perform moves that are unrealistic(Examples: Doughnuts with the front and rear wheels turned the opposite directions, Landing from 40ft in the air and performing a slap wheelie, etc.) You will probably not score as well as other drivers. This is a fair warning.
  4. Hitting the wall hard will result in your truck being shut off. Wall hits tonight will NOT end your run. There are exceptions to this rule however. If you land on the wall, or purposely drive into the wall, you will be shut off and not allowed to continue.
  5. If you begin to flip over, and your roof touches the ground. Do not throttle into the rollover and try to save the truck. Momentum rollovers back onto the wheels will be considered by officials, if your roll is deemed to hard your run will be finished.
  6. The final rule for tonights competition is have fun. The more fun your having, the better this event will be and the more we will want to put on special events such as Fall Madness, Allmonsters Eve, King of the Hill Events, etc. Thank you, and have a great time.

If there are any questions about any of these rules, you may ask during the drivers meeting tonight.
