NavySonicShell
It looks so much nicer than the older models. Like, not as in a design way, but as a general emotion given off by it. It looks mean, but look at it in relation to the older models. Maybe if they make a police edition it will look "meaner." It consistently has in the past In other words, It went from a big angry frown, to a semi-angry smile. EDT FOR CLARIFICATION: I obviously mean compared to the modern models, go look at an original to see "mean"

Metallica530
What's with all the old '60's and '70's cars coming back as sporty grocery getter, looking cars. MUSCLE IS DEAD!
Double.D ッ
What's with all the old '60's and '70's cars coming back as sporty grocery getter, looking cars. MUSCLE IS DEAD! It's simple really. We aren't in the muscle era anymore. Back in the 60's and 70's it was all about who was louder and who had more power. That was the selling point, and that was the general demand. But as gas prices rise, you can't just go for loud and powerful anymore, because those are the ones that have lower MPG's, thus causing the consumer to pay more for gasoline. Plus, with more and more families in the country, demand for the typical powerhouse is low. People want a practical everyday car. It's a perfect example of supply and demand. The people demand practical cars, the companies supply them to keep making the most money possible.

monstabubba
is everyone just complaining because it is now a 4 door as opposed to the original 2 door?
acdcfan56
No, they destroyed the point of the dodge charger on how it should be, a pure muscle car. Just like the dart, it became an average car, that doesn't even look good. Just like the mustang, they destroyed the originality of the car itself. The only car that looks decent now is the challenger becuase it still resembles the style of the old challenger.

Outlawed
is everyone just complaining because it is now a 4 door as opposed to the original 2 door? No the problem stems with the fact that Dodge is already having to rummage into their shallow bucket of names with any validity (Dart, Charger, Challenger, etc) to sell otherwise crappy cars. Add in the fact is the current generation has zero idea what those names meant or the people that actually do remember, sure as hell not going to get duped into buying a shitty car for the sake of a nameplate. Automotive industry has gone the same way of music.
lookin4myscooter
I must agree with Double D., as his point is 100% valid. However they should also keep producing muscle cars, keeping them true to their heritage and looks. There will always be some market for it. As with what Outlawed said, the younger generations don't know what those cars meant way back when. In the way of the music industry, I blsme some of it on these crappy screamo bands, but the rest is on record companies. No bands WANTS a record deal now, they know they will just get robbed. As a working musician, I understand why everyone wants to start their own record company, record at home and sell on iTunes, or use some around town, underground recording studio.
