  1. That's sure is one goofy looking truck. Also, definitely refreshing to see that Chile course.
  2. By the way, all the original links no longer work, at least for me.
  3. It all depends on how long the sponsorship deal lasts, and whether they renew it or not.
  4. I'm happier that the World Finals field got dropped to 24, and maybe I'm the only one. 32 wasn't an insane amount, but 24 is plenty and I think it's better to make it more prestigious and hard to get into. It's also good that they're having the smaller competitions in the pit party and keeping the big trucks in the stadium, and that not every truck is going to take part in every competition. Might go for the first time since 2012, but we'll see. ST2 lineup looks decent, which is what I'm going to get in Oakland, but ST1 is what I really wanna see so I'll have to go to Santa Clara for that one. Pretty neat to see St. Louis style racing make a return, somewhat. The tracks themselves still aren't very interesting in their design, but that's not a huge deal. The whole Fire and Ice thing is really gimmick-y and I don't really have any care for it, but the Fire Megalodon looks really cool. (Also Adam needs to grow his goatee back out so he looks like less of a dork.)
  5. Well I think we know who's paying MJ the most money.
  6. Sad to hear this, since I grew up watching Monster Jam/Motor Madness on TNN hearing him and Scott Douglass. Here's just one of many clips where he was on commentary.
  7. "My love for you is like a (monster) truck, BERSERKER!"
  8. The fact that we're wishing for games like those is pretty sad.
  9. Well they're not going to be racing in Vegas, so there's no need to keep that style if they can't have the giant J hook. Besides, mixing it up would be more interesting anyways.
  10. Talk about bringing down the house. I guess this beats Chuckie hitting the scoreboard?
  11. You definitely outdid yourself this time. Props for not making it two giant piles of jumps, and getting creative with the racing course.
  12. That sure is an understatement. Seems to contrast with many of the statements you, or should I say your "little brother" made earlier in the year. Anyone remember this? How many unfounded, Orwellian claims about FELD have you made? It does suck that they have to use weak tires, the lack of track variety is boring, the announcers stink, but you're ranting and raving about the smallest, nuanced things. I personally haven't seen a BKT tire obliterate when coming in contact with a car yet. It's not like Monster Jam was perfect for 15 years and then it magically started sucking. They didn't even have a points series for 10 years, trucks would break all the time, and most of the independent trucks weren't even competition for the bigger names. Now they are. The only complaints 99% of the fans have is that the shows are too short, and there's not enough destruction of smaller, insignificant vehicles. That's about it, and I fully agree with both of them. Besides, Sam Boyd isn't a very big stadium either. There's just a lot of room around it, which most stadiums have anyways.
  13. Didn't think I'd be seeing St. Louis style return but here we are I guess.
  14. Hybrid Moments Mean Streak Damager Outsider Silver Bullet Hollow Point Wheels of Steel
  15. This is as bad as it gets, and then some.
  16. Pretty much. I just wish FELD would use cars in a way that actually matters, instead of using them as the structure for a ramp, where they're almost pointless.
  17. I always love seeing new, inventive tracks like all these NAMT tracks that have been coming out, as well as the older SMRA tracks. Glad to see we're still innovating with different obstacles and racing ideas.
  18. Well as long as something is being created, people are being creative. So yes, it's creative. It's definitely original, too.
