  1. Anyone have any idea what team will be running the Traxxas (Skully and X Maxx) bodies in the MTD tour?
  2. I'm going to bet they still have more trucks to announce, probably in future live shows. I'm so glad no announcement about Dennis retiring and Madusa is.
  3. Always nice seeing Bigfoot in the projects thread. It doesn't happen nearly enough.
  4. I like it. Can't wait to get one but probably won't for a year. Hopefully there will be a 35th anniversary bodied one next year.
  5. I don't remember if I posted this before my absence but this is by far my favorite custom track model I've made so far. It's just about time to learn to texture.
  6. The modeling on most of them is done with the exception of the Silverdome. That still sits like the real one with no roof and I haven't made any tracks for the second version I need to learn to texture in blender which I plan to do in a few months.
  7. Here's a few new babies I picked up in my absence on here. Sassy Clod Savage Nitro TC3
  8. Back after about a year of being offline. Finally got enough crap paid down so I could afford the internet again. Time to pick up where I left off.
  9. At least what happened can be talked about on here without people getting an attitude and saying not to discuss it. I'm guessing Hotsy will be replacing Bob being that the Halls announced that they'll have a truck here. Wild day here in MI. Lots of accidents and crazy stuff happening with the weather. It's one of those days where I was glad I made it home. Turns out taking the back roads through the bad parts of Detroit is safer than the expressways with crazy driving senseless yuppies on them. Tomorrow is going to be worse. We've got a 7 degree high predicted, wind and possibly more snow. Hell is a monster truck show in MI during January. We get the most terrible weather right before it every year.
  10. It appears Ford Field is not using ticketmaster for Monster Jam. It's a company called Veritix that's doing it. The link on the Monster Jam page takes you to Ford Field's website and there is no mention of ticketmaster on either. There is also no show listing for Ford Field on Ticketmaster's site that I've seen. Here's a link to the veritix site. If the home page doesn't scream greed I don't know what does. http://www.veritix.com/
  11. Anyone getting tickets for shows this year be warned. I planned on having a friend of mine order my tickets for the Detroit Jan and Feb shows for me and print them like I always do but there is no option for that anymore. If you order you're tickets online here you have to have the credit card and in some cases the card and ID of the person that ordered them to get them wheather using the app or just picking them up. No option for mailing or printing and you can't use you're license number to pick up the tickets anymore. Also I'm unable to choose my seats online anymore and am pretty sure that their trying to stick me in the bad seats I had a few years ago. Basically row two in certain spots in Ford Field is basically row one and where row one would be is a walkway that you're sitting level with and looking at the legs of people walking in front of you the whole show. Ford Field was terribly designed for those who don't know. Now I have to stand in line the day of the show in 7 degree weather and get them from the box office and hope they don't give me S!@# tickets (not the bathroom kind) like they always have when I got them from there. After seeing this I'm done with ordering online. I'll be going to the stadium to get the tickets from now on which when all is said and done will cost as much if not more than the ridiculous "convience" charges. Additional charges have also gone up. I had $30 in additional charges on $45 worth of tickets. God I miss the Silverdome. Hopefully they do something with it because I hate the way things are going at Ford Field.
  12. Detroit's new lineup after all the Hall trucks were replaced. There are going to be a bunch of great indies at this show. I'm looking forward to this one. Grave Digger® driven by Pablo Huffaker, Backwards Bob® driven by TBA, Max-D℠ driven by Tom Meents, Northern Nightmare℠ driven by Cam McQueen, Monster Mutt® Dalmatian driven by Taryn Laskey, El Toro Loco® driven by Marc McDonald, Mohawk Warrior℠ driven by George Balhan, Incinerator driven by Ryan Rice, Storm Damage driven by Tim Mente, Hurricane Force driven by Steven Thompson, Saigon Shaker driven by Ryan Disharoon, Shell Camino driven by Shelly Kujat, Crushstation driven by Greg Winchenback, Mechanical Mischief driven by Jim Burns, Bounty Hunter® driven by Trent Montgomery, and Iron Outlaw driven by Todd Morey
  13. So far two Traxxas Stampedes and a fifth of Jack Daniels with a shot glass and a rocks glass which I serve with no rocks.
  14. This is going to be an interesting season. Anyone on here going to the January Detroit show Saigon Shaker has been added to the lineup. I don't know if their replacing another truck or what but they announced it on their FB page. Also I think there is still at least one more truck that Monster Jam hasn't announced. The Detroit February show and other shows have "and more" at the end of the truck list with an odd number of trucks. Detroit has 15 announced so far.
  15. It's been a while. Anyone who can scale, texture and export these for me please PM me.
  16. One thing I'll add to this is if you have Photoshop there is a nice feature called "save for web and devices". Basically it takes a photo with a large file size and makes it smaller. I've noticed little to no quality loss doing this and it uploads faster and loads on pages faster.
  17. I've got this really bad feeling that their going to be chasing each other around the stadium at the world finals this year.
  18. Wow, this is far worse than I imagined it being and I haven't even seen a game vid yet. So no unlocking trucks? If the only way to get trucks is to buy gears at 19.99 for 30 of them my nephew will never get Digger for it or any of the trucks you have to buy. This just makes the problems MTD has look like nothing.
  19. Detroit was decent this year. The show didn't feel rushed to me and lasted till between 10 and 10:30 unlike last year I was on my way to the car before 9:30. They actually did qualifying this year too which surprised me. They only had it for the March shows the last few years. The track was eating trucks all night though. They were a little too steep on the jumps.
