  11. Welp, it's finally time for MTP to get Back To Business! It's been 7 long years since season 2 wrapped up, and we're finally back with a full schedule and a true direction to work off of. For Season 3, we're using the TNT Unfinished Business event that happened irl as inspiration, as we noticed how many people enjoyed the concept. With that in mind, here are the basic details for what's going on: Tours: There will be 4 tours (Extreme East, Chaotic Central, Manic Mid-West, and Wild West) and each tour will have 5 events total. Each tour will have a set field of 12 competitors, and those fields will be determined by MTP officials. Each event will consist of wheelies, racing, and freestyle, and each event will count towards your points total. Trucks: Trucks will be repli-customs of old identities, with 5 main requirements that must be met: 1. The identity must have debuted before 2001. 2. The identity must have been inactive or used infrequently for a minimum of 10 years. 3. The scheme must clearly reflect a past version of the identity. 4. The chassis used on the truck must be an irl design (no custom designs) and has to be a 2010 model or newer. 5. The identity must use a body from a manufacturer that it used irl. Also, all trucks must be stand alone and uploaded to Sim Monsters unless otherwise stated. Schedule: Extreme East TBA Wild West TBA Chaotic Central TBA Manic Midwest TBA Grand Finals TBA Links: Spreadsheet - https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1C2V_RiipRdKlH48qpJRTxmEjcgaYvSPUKmKZAixYtFo/edit?usp=sharing Rule Book - https://docs.google.com/document/d/1_s--FRDvTjSnMIRLDOK98168gkBbwm6FaxNZYtFbxx0/edit?usp=sharing Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/simmonsters/?hl=en League Guidelines - https://sim-monsters.com/topic/10267-ror-mt-pro-guidelines-and-personell/ Signups: Signups will take place on Friday, May 27th, 2022 at 10PM eastern. Signups are first come, first served until all 32 spots are filled and final say on who's locked in belongs to me. Once all of the locked in spots are claimed, the remaining signups will be put into the fill in pool. Once an identity is claimed, it is off the board. Each identity will be reviewed to see if it meets the requirements, but 2 names that are completely off limits are Bigfoot and Grave Digger. Here is the signup format: Name: Discord: Hometown: Truck: Truck Link: Here's to the return of RoR MT Pro!
  12. Also figured I'd give out some rules regarding trucks: The identity you use must be a real life identity that debuted prior to the 2001 season. Said identity also must have been on hiatus, or used infrequently, for at least 10 years; there will be some exceptions, but it's on a case by case basis. Truck identities must use a replica of a body and paint the real life version used while active, or as close as possible. Trucks must use a real life chassis design, no customs designs allowed. All trucks will have the same engine and gearing settings and CANNOT be altered, here are the exact settings needed; globals 5000, 0.0, tracks/trans engine 950.0, 2600.0, 11500.0, 4.30, 5.00, 10.00, 3.06, 2.13, -1.0 engoption 1, c, 5000.0, 0.1, 0.1, 0.1, 300, 800, 0.3, 0.0 torquecurve turbogas brakes 42000 You will be allowed to change suspension settings, but they are subject to approval by league officials. All trucks must be stand alone, no exceptions. All trucks must be uploaded to the site unless otherwise stated from a league official. All trucks will be tested by league officials to make sure they conform to the rules, if they fail to do so we will contact you to explain the issue and figure out a solution. There will be a deadline for when trucks are due, if your truck isn't legal and submitted by the time and date stated you will not be allowed to compete. I'll be putting together a full rulebook for everything, but I wanted to get this info out there now so everyone could get a head start on their trucks. If you need help picking out an identity to use, contact me via dm on here or discord (my username is CMDeerfoot#5139) and I'll do my best to help you figure something out.
  13. Normally my posts tend to be long winded when it comes to MTP, but I'm gonna keep it simple. MTP is officially coming back full time, and it's inspired by the real life TNT Motorsports: Unfinished Business event. Events will be held at facilities that have history with monsters irl and on Sim-Monsters, and will have racing, wheelie, and freestyle comps. Trucks will be names from the past that haven't run much if at all recently on modern style trucks. Here's the full schedule: Florida Sports Park - Naples, FL Galot Motorsports Park - Benson, NC Freedom Hall - Louisville, KY Lebanon Valley Speedway - West Lebanon, NY Stafford Speedway - Stafford Springs, CT Rocky Mountain Raceway - West Valley City, UT Arizona State Fairgrounds - Phoenix, AZ Salinas Sports Complex - Salinas, CA Tacoma Dome - Tacoma, WA Castrol Speedway - Edmonton, Alberta, Canada We should do this deal sometime during 2022 as long as the tracks get done, and we've got a decent amount of trucks done with more being worked on. Stay tuned, we're finally coming back and with the old school flare we're known for.

  16. More chassis? More chassis. (I think I might have a problem...) First couple are some older ones that have been sitting for awhile and i finally finished them up: first up is a pointy cradle willman with some of my custom touches. next we have my take on a Hartsock chassis (R.I.P. Scotty). after that we have yet another random mega truck chassis. and then we move on to a chassis overhaul that desperately needed to be done. what you see here is a complete revision of the CMD Signature Series chassis that my most personal of customs Mr. Beardman uses. The og version had persistent handling issues from the get go, mainly due to it's very unusual design features; it was tall, long, and had some of the most extreme shock tower tapers even seen. It's still as long as cargo ship, but hopefully the rest of the issues have been addressed as i've chopped down the cradle, the roll cage, and moved the shock towers back out to a more normal positioning. Not sure when Beardman 2.0 will get done, but this version should be much more competitive and less unruly. As always I've got more in the works, but none of those are in a state to be shared publicly just yet.
  17. speaking of mega trucks, here's 2 more chassis i made over the last couple of days. this first one is more of a bounty hole/freestyle truck now this one on the other hand is a pure race mega, and the engine sits directly below the driver
  18. Been awhile since I've posted on here, figured I could show off a coupe of things I've whipped up recently... First up is prototype short wheelbase monster truck chassis. Secondly, we have a mega truck chassis that was heavily influenced by the old swing arm Extreme Overkill.
  19. alright, all of the spots have been filled. all other signups from this point on will go into the fill in pool.
  20. All of the trucks have arrived safely at the North Pole, which is no easy feat to pull off. But as we found out, Santa's logistics team is second to none. The finishing touches are being made to the track as we speak, as well as other preparations for all the festivities going on the week of Christmas.
  21. "Dashing through the dirt, on massive metal machines. Over the hills they go, givin' it the beans. Supercharged V8's, with their exhausts burning bright. What fun it is to send these things, into orbit Christmas night!" It's Christmas time once again, and after the events going on in the world lately people are cherishing the moments they have with family and friends more than usual. People are starting to ensure they have a much better balance between their work and personal lives, as every moment spent with those you care about is precious. The same rings true for everyone who works at Santa's Workshop up in the North Pole, all of his helpers diligently working to make gifts for those who make the nice list; and bag up the coal for those who don't. But all work and no play makes for dull elves, and Santa makes sure everyone takes plenty of time to rest and enjoy themselves. This is especially true after the Christmas season is over, as he regularly throws a party to thank everyone who helped him deliver happiness across the globe. One of the personal faves of all his workers has been the times that monster trucks were brought up to entertain them as the cap to said party. The first time was all the way back in 2012 and then went even bigger 3 years later, but it's now been 6 years since these mammoth technological marvels have touched the icy tundra where Santa, his family, and staff call home. That is about to change though, as once again the monsters will make their way to back Christmas Village to fly like the Santa's reindeer; but this time it's courtesy of King Of The Hill! Santa contacted us asking if we would be willing to put on a show for everyone in Christmas Village, as it's been far too long since the monsters have paid a visit to his winter wonderland; and we couldn't say yes fast enough. Things are slightly different this go around as the trucks won't be running in the middle of the village like they used to, as North Pole staff had to build extra facilities to deal with the increased demand over the last couple of years. Instead, we're using a special climate controlled sports park that was constructed for everyone who works in the village to be able to partake in various sports without dealing with the harsh elements. The entire space has been converted to allow the monsters plenty of room to do what they do best, and knowing how KOTH events usually turn out it is sure to be a sight to behold! Here are the specifics for the event: Signups open Saturday, December 18th, 2021 at 8:00pm eastern. Event will take place on Sunday, December 26th, 2021 at 8:00pm eastern; driver's meeting will start at 7:45pm eastern. Per the usual, this will be a 1 night points championship. Sign ups are first come, first served and once all spots are filled any remaining signups will be put into the fill in pool. There will be 20 spots total for this event, 18 are up for grabs through signups; the other 2 were given to people who helped make this event happen. Trucks will be assigned at the conclusion of the driver's meeting unless otherwise stated. All drivers must be in Special Events voice chat for the driver's meeting at the specified time. Anyone who doesn't join that didn't let officials know prior that they would be late will be replaced, no exceptions. Event will consist of qualifying, head to head racing (for the top 10 in qualifying), time trials (for the bottom 10), and freestyle. All races for the head to head bracket will be timed for lane choice. 1 tiring a ramp will result in a 5 second penalty, missing a ramp entirely will result in a DQ; running the obstacle course incorrectly will result in a DQ Jumping the start (red lighting) will also result in a DQ. Freestyle runs will be 2 minutes long and are to be 2021 realistic, anything deemed otherwise will result in deductions from your score. Any other specific rules will be mentioned during the driver's meeting. (BTW, those 2 spots that are already taken belong to @ThompsonSS and @RORmadness. Without the help they provided, this event would not be happening as it currently is.)
