yes you do. You need to download the driver for the controller to work. I have a PC-xbox controller that is rechargeable. When I plug it in, it found the driver and Downloaded it automatically. not sure if yours will do the same. In that case just google "Xbox controller PC drive".

Personally, I would recomend a wired Xbox controller for PC. I have a wireless on and it works great, except for having to change the batteries. Also For the PS3 controller, you will need to search the webs for a driver. The xbox controller for PC will find and download the driver automatically when you plug it in.

That's nothing. I got drunk one night in college and somehow managed to blow up my friends kitchen. -
Lots. Funny enough, I only got tickets twice. And that was from state troopers. No insurance, no inspection, no taillights, no license plates... The list goes on. Mostly they just wanted to check it out and take pictures.

When I owned my ranger, I did drive it all over. Without bedsides or front clip. People would stare and I would even get girls digits. Of course it wasn't street legal, and I would get pulled over at least twice a week.
