Well hey, I think overall this truck is really awesome, you did a good job getting some cool detail into the truck. However, it feels like you focused a lot of detail into the wrong places, multiple different oranges and even some red where there shouldn't. I know its really hard to stay motivated when people leak your work. My suggestion? Send pics, don't give your work to anyone until its ready. I don't want to sound pandering of course, but it really is that simple.... that or get a different friend group who wont send out your work? Either way, it's good, but could be a lot better if you put the time into the little stuff.
Overall trucks not bad at all, but can we please stop messing with the tire textures, they looked ten times better before people started screwing with them??? And for the love of god stop using the shaky truck node beam, use another oneeeeeee.

So here we are again, after the success of the NAMT world finals, Night Life has gone under the knife for an extensive overhaul, a brand new Alpha Male Speed Shop Custom Chassis holds all of the awesome new tech this beast has, after kicking my nicotine addiction we fit my Juul in as a reminder as the rear steer switch, got into a Holly EFI Digital Dash thanks to Steele and his extensive wiring knowledge, and many more improvements. Hotline V2 and the original chassis will still be together at the shop in-case we need to go back to old reliable for any reasons. Stay tuned as Alpha Male Speed Shop has a lot more coming down the pipe, we have new designs and new beasts that are sure to impress. (On a real note, thank you @Steele for all of the hardwork and finally getting this beast finished.) Please ask before signing up in any events with this truck as this isn't an open custom. Thanks! I'd still suggest if you decide to take on some more replicas, to bevel the edges because having hard edges doesn't look the cleanest, and remember, dirt will lose its shape over time, so making things a tad bit more rounded in those places will make the ramps smoother as well! But overall the work is solid once again! I'm really glad to see you taking the constructive criticism and being able to improve your work with it, the track looks a lot better and it's awesome to see someone going out of their way to improve as a content creator! Keep up the good work man! Your work will only get better with time, cant wait to see what you work on next.

Honestly for a first public release, this is a pretty darn good track, I'd suggest going out of your way to make sure things are 100% scaled correctly. Also work on smoothing out your ramps a bit more, things look very steep and edgy, beveling can make a huge difference in this regard. As for texturing, I'd suggest not just erasing the colors when making the freestyle version, I'd also suggest burning away the colors, or de-saturating the colors because as the event goes on, the color does fade from the ramps a lot. If you have any questions about these critiques, feel free to message me, and I can explain further. Keep em coming!

  6. All who have signed up who have not yet joined the discord! Please join as soon as possible and read over the important info for the event tonight as we are running some new systems in the event tonight that require more legwork from the competitors to make sure it runs right! Also you will need to download the race scripts in that same discord as well for qualifying and racing!!! https://discord.gg/fYvUSr
  7. That original truck was built by Zach Steele, please make sure to credit him with the chassis mesh that you cloned.
  8. Your truck must be a download on the site, not a mediafire link.
  9. Hey all! Tentative date for the event is January 3rd, 2020 @ 6:00pm EST Wanted to run an event this weekend to test my server and to test .4.8 events. (Again) I'm only going to be running Qualifying, Racing, and Freestyle because I think Two Wheel Skill is incredibly boring (whoops). I want to keep it chill and fun for everyone, nothing serious here but lets run it smooth yeah? I'll be keeping track of points for an overall winner, all points awarded will be based off of the amount of competitors present I.E. 12 people = 12 points for 1st place, 11 for 2nd.... etc. Freestyle points are based off of score in the event. 23 = 23 points. Points will be awarded for all 3 parts of the show. Qualifying, Racing, and Freestyle. Overall winner gets a thumbs up and a pat on the back, followed by a really disingenuous ""hooray" from the rest of the competitors. (Can you tell I copy pasted this from my last one yet?) My simple rules are as follows: 1. Any truck you would like to compete in must be on the Sim-Monster.com downloads section and .4 compatible. (Standalone trucks) 2. Be ready to compete at all times, when I call you in, get in game. I wont be using a timer, if you don't log into the server within a minute or so without prior warning, I will move on without you. 3. Keep things somewhat realistic. No crazy moves. 4. My calls are final, if you don't like it? Leave. 5. Be respectful to all competitors. Track: St. Louis 2019 Qualifying will start at 6:00 PM EST Racing will start promptly at 7:00 PM EST I'll keep track of everything using a google docs link provided in the event Discord. Event Discord will be provided when I decide to create it, it will be deleted after the event is over. This was a really fun track to put together, Chadwick had the idea of a New Orleans style race course with a modern twist, I took his idea and made the best out of it. I've learned a lot in making this track, thanks to all of the guys who helped me along the way with this one. @Andrew especially helped a ton with guidance on the track modeling and setting up the awesome shadows. We can't forget about the RoR Devs who helped me with a lot of other minor stuff as well! (Shadows will only work on PSSM shadow setting) While working on this track, my main focus was to make sure that everything drove well, so a lot of aesthetic was left out because I felt that making a better driving course would be more enjoyable than focusing too much of my efforts on small detail that I'm not good at yet. Thank you @CMDeerfoot for giving me the chance to create this one of a kind track, and for letting me put so much of my creative influence into this resurgence of King of the Hill, it has truly been a pleasure to help rebuild such an iconic series! THIS TRACK IS ONLY GUARANTEED TO WORK ON .4.8 CREDITS: @iZonarYT: Modeling, Texturing, and most other associated tasks with track making @maxdman: Awesome looking props (Water Truck, Barricades, Flood Lights, and Semis) @Andrew: Modeling help, guidance, and Beta Testing @CMDeerfoot: Original inspiration and Beta Testing @JonnyZimmer: Beta Testing @MrGravedigger24: Beta Testing @Torque Easy: Beta Testing @Trenton Ray: Beta Testing
  11. So the event has drawn to a close, the event went extremely well, unfortunately we only had 7 people in total make the event but we did what we could to make it as fun as possible. It started in qualifying with @Torque Easy taking the top qualifier spot, and @Andrew coming in a close second with the same exact time! Since @Torque Easy ran first he took the 1st place. In racing we had a big upset in round one with @fernBurn being taken out by @CleverMeentsPun. In the end though @Torque Easy was just too consistent taking it all the way to the finals against @Andrew. In the finals @Torque Easy would be able to uphold his #1 qualifier position and win with a wild finish we are soon not to forget! In freestyle we had some very consistent runs all night, @DJKBarn starting things off right with a solid run, @CleverMeentsPun again proved to be a highlight of the show with a pretty good freestyle for a new comer, I look forward to seeing what else he can bring to the table on bigger tracks. @fernBurn came out swinging in the new Bad Habit and threw down an amazing freestyle solidifying the early lead with a 28, @rockgod88 gave the fans the show they expected and he flipped in 5 seconds... GG #7. Next to take a huge step would be @Andrew once again, having an amazing freestyle on such a small course, with wild cross threads and an amazing save at the last second to take the lead from @fernBurn by just 1 point. Leaving one man one point to get the overall win. @Torque Easy came out swinging but was caught off guard by a cross thread and ended up dumping the truck too early to get a high enough score to win, or even keep his overall from the consistent @Andrew. In the end @Andrew took the overall win by 3 points ahead of @Torque Easy. This was an amazing time, and I think it went extremely smooth, it took under an hour to run the whole event, so thank you to all competitors for moving quickly and truly putting on an entertaining event! I look forward to running more of these events in the future! Stay tuned https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/143ph9ldYlERMayTLVRsXRKbRRz08ZlyknbxZaqWipIM/edit?usp=sharing

  15. So this is a track that has been a while in the making, learned a lot from Birmingham and put it all into making this track. I'm extremely happy with the way things turned out, decided on a Christmas theme cause why not? So here's a Fairground style course based off of the old New Orleans race style with a modern spin. Most recently @Andrew helped me get shadows working on the track and they take things to a whole 'nother level (and the shadows even work online, as all pictures taken here were during an online session). The track is very close to being finished, so keep an eye out as it will be out to the world very soon! First version exported into game Most recent version in game
