  5. All Elite Monster Trucks has been active over the last 2 weeks, so much has happened that we had to merge it into one post! Below is the action that unfolded in Week 3 & Week 4 of All Elite Monster Trucks! Week 3: After being absent from the previous Week, Vincent Akard needed to have a clean weekend to come anywhere near close to taking the points series win away from Travis Palm. Vincent would do just that, winning Racing, Skills and Freestyle. Not much else to add here, with the exception of that Ewan Ford put down an amazing Freestyle that may have warranted second place, but was well deserving of where he was placed in Freestyle, and that as usual the other competitors gave Vincent their all! Arena's once again proved how just because the space is enclosed and limited, doesn't mean the drivers can put on a good show! Racing saw the return of Kyle Knickerbocker in Twisted Addiction, who narrowly defeated Lionel Herrera in Zombie Fire in a photo finish. During Skills and Freestyle however, it was all Lionel, absolutely rocking the Manchester fans on their feet with an impressive Skills Run and a jaw dropping Freestyle Run. Billy Badass, subbing for Freddy Dinapoli, had an incredible Freestyle, along with Trooper Balcazar subbing for Jackson Meszaros. With the Arena Series returning in early January, and only 2 more stops left, the other competitors better fight for their life because Lionel is surely putting on his A-Game to take this series win! Week 4: The final weekend of All Elite action for 2020 proved to show what we can expect as the tour closes out in late January. Racing would prove to be a huge surprise, as two of the best arena guys, Lionel Herrera and Max Silver, both subbing for their respective drivers, defeated the likes of Travis Palm, Vincent Akard, Jackson Morris and more. In the end, Lionel driving Avenger would defeat Max Silver in Grave Digger. But if you thought that was enough, how about Skills, where Lionel, Marcelo Mendoza (The new driver for Doom'sDay), Taylor Andes (driving Son-Uva-Digger) and Travis Palm would all be tied. The Tie Breaker would show that Lionel's was the winner, but none the less exceptional performances from both. But in Freestyle, despite Taylor Andes' best efforts, it was Travis who came out on top as the clear winner of Freestyle. The biggest story of all was the small hiccup Vincent had that weekend; but you know for 2021 he is going to do his very best to come out on top! Heading into the last few weeks of action, more and more exciting updates are soon to be present. New drivers, drivers moving tours, and World Finals locations, its sure to be interesting!!! Stay tuned to the AEMT Forum for more Week in Reviews and updates on the tour!
  6. Week 2 of All Elite Monster Trucks was surely exciting and goes to show that you shouldn't always put all your poker chips on one card, or in this case 1 competitor! Stadiums was a moment for redemption, as the former points leader Vincent Akard in Rockwell R.E.D. was unable to show up to defend his championship series lead. He did get himself two points as the fastest qualifier, however he fell in the points because of him not being present at Houston. Many drivers took the opportunity to get as many points as they could to take the championship series lead. The Semi Final round proved to be interesting, as Marshall Harris filling in for Carson Williams in Great Clips Mohawk Warrior was only NARROWLY beaten by Ewan Ford in El Toro Loco Black. Deli in Gas Monkey Garage also made a statement by defeating Travis Palm in Wrecking Machine. The final round was another close race, this time seeing Deli defeat Ewan for the racing win. The complex and unique floor would be challenging for most to lay down a solid Skills run. Deli, Billy Badass and Travis Palm laid down exceptional hits, but no one took the opportunity quite like the tour owner Jackson Morris in the VP Mad Scientist did, with an incredible moonwalk to wheelie to moonwalk to wheelie to moonwalk combo, and a slam stoppie that he put into a moonwalk, earning him the Skills win for the first time on the tour. Freestyle also proved to be challenging, as lots of drivers went over early. Marshall Harris almost claimed himself the win, but got narrowly beaten by Travis Palm. With this exceptional performance in Houston, Travis now leads the points series, with Ewan Ford in ETL and Deli in GMG lurking behind. The Arena series got off to great start during qualifying, as Lionel Herrera would earn himself the first 2 points before the start of the event. The racing finale was super exciting, as Dillon Kearns in Megalodon and Jackson Meszaros in Monster Mutt Rottweiler would square off for the first time in the tour. Meszaros was determined as the winner by a truck length. Dillon managed to make do with the added room for Skills, by dominating the competition with an incredible reverse bicycle to wheelie to moonwalk to twist combo, earning himself the win. For Freestyle, we saw absolutely jaw dropping runs from Dillon Kearns, Freddy Dinapoli in Wild Side and Max Silver in Max-D. But Lionel, driving Zombie Fire, proved why he is the driver to beat, by winning Freestyle. Lionel still has the points lead heading into Week 3, but with the tour winding down, it will sure be interesting to see what these drivers can pull off. Tune in to the All Elite Monster Trucks Sim Monsters page next week for more updates on future stops and more!
  7. This previous weekend saw the official start to the All Elite Monster Trucks season with a great weekend with some amazing action! Here is a small recap of what happened across both Stadiums and Arenas! Domination was to be expected, however there were many drivers who put on an amazing performance! During Qualifying, Vincent Akard in Rockwell R.E.D blitzed the competition, and taking the first two points of the season. But the talk of the night during racing by far was Ewan Ford in El Toro Loco Black, DEFEATING Marcelo Mendoza subbing in for Joseph Medina in Avenger during the Semi Finals. Unfortunately for Ewan, he would be defeated by the points leader Vincent in the final round. Skills also proved to be interesting, as many competitors put on great performances that wowed the crowd. Taylor Andes, Tim Clapper, and Travis Palm laid down exceptional performances during the night, but, as to be expected, Vincent Akard took the Skills win, with unbelievable moves with precise control of his truck. Freestyle was the competition to look out for by far! Drivers like Trooper Balcazar, Tim Clapper, Taylor Andes, and Marcelo Mendoza put on amazing performances. In the end however, in a controversial Tie Breaker between Vincent Akard and Travis Palm, Travis in Wrecking Machine would be declared the winner. The points leader is still Vincent Akard, however you know Travis and the other 14 drivers are going to be fighting for that top series win! But easily the most exciting part of All Elite was the first Points event for the Arena Series! Qualifying looked to set a precedent for the rest of the season, with Kyle Knickerbocker taking the first 2 points in Qualifying. Unfortunately, Kyle would be unable to show up for this week, leaving Travis Palm to sub for Twisted Addiction. Racing proved to be more skill then anything, as navigating the tough and tricky chicago style racing course would show who was capable of taking the win. The upset of the night 100% had to be when Billy Badass, subbing for the original driver in Wild Side defeating Travis Palm in Twisted Addiction IN THE FIRST ROUND!!! The finals came down to Freddy Dinapoli subbing in for Dillon Kearns in Megalodon and AJ Reed in Soldier Fortune Ice. Freddy narrowly defeated AJ, giving him his first win of not just the Arena series but the tour itself! During Skills, drivers like Max Silver in Max-D and AJ Reed showed their true creativity with some outstanding moves! Freddy would prove himself again tying for the lead with Lionel Herrera in Zombie Fire. In the Tie Breaker, Lionel was declared the winner. For Freestyle, it was a back and forth battle between being outrageously insane to pull off crazy hits to the wow the fans and impress the judges, but also be technical and controlled by not crashing into any of the safety barriers. Billy Badass, Travis Palm, and Lionel Herrera EASILY did just that, laying down exceptional runs that were truly something to remember. Lionel's jaw dropping run also featured the first and only successful Mini Flip attempt, which that along with the rest of the 2 mins of insane Monster Truck action gave Lionel the win in Freestyle. Tune in to the All Elite Monster Trucks Sim Monsters page next week for more updates on future stops and more!
  8. This previous week was technically the first week of action for All Elite Monster Trucks, and boy oh boy was it exciting! While not for points, the drivers who were able to show up made the most of this testing grounds to prove themselves and show what they could do! The Stadium Series would show the Number 1 contender for the Stadium Series title, that being Vincent Akard in the Rockwell R.E.D Monster Truck! Vincent took all three competitions, that being Racing, Skills and Freestyle, showing he was the dominant competitor and the person to look out for! In saying this however, many many competitors showed they could be a force to be reckoned with if Vincent slips up! Andrew Martinez in Bakugan Dragonoid made it all the way to the Semi Finals, defeating Tour Owner Jackson Morris in the VP Racing Fuels The Mad Scientist in the process. In Skills, Travis Palm in Wrecking Machine showed he could be a competitor to look out for, with an amazing Bicycle around the Alamodome! Wayne Cichoki in Grave Digger put on an amazing show in Freestyle, but most impressive was Billy Badass in Max-D Fire; a new comer to the Rigs of Rods Monster Truck scene, showed he too was a force to be reckoned with, getting second in Freestyle! The Arena Series right from the get-go was going to be interesting, new faces, new experiences, and one goal: To become ALL ELITE. Racing was down to the wire, but ultimately it was between Konner Bauer in Grave Digger the Legend and Kyle Knickerbocker in Twisted Addiction. In a photo finish, Kyle was determined the Racing Winner. During Skills, every competitor put their moves to the test to see if they could claim the win. Lionel Herrera in Zombie Fire had an amazing skills run, leading most of the competiton. Ultimately it came down to Travis Palm subbing for Max Silver in Max-D, who almost perfectly replicated his Skills hit from the Stadium PreSeason event in San Antonio. This along with a jaw dropping second hit gave him the extra point needed to take the win. In Freestyle, each competitor threw down the gauntlet to take the win. Konner Bauer showed up with an incredible Freestyle, along with Billy Badass subbing for Corey New in Wild Side. Ultimately, it would be Kyle Knickerbocker in Twisted Addiction taking the Freestyle Win. Next week is the beginning of the points series for both tours, meaning from this point onwards, EVERYTHING GOES TOWARDS THE STADIUM SERIES AND ARENA SERIES CHAMPIONSHIPS! Make sure to keep checking the All Elite Sim Monsters Forum Thread for more updates on events, including the results from each show!!
