  1. In other news, these are now available for the low, low cost of "waiting for approval". Yes, that's right! They do come as a package deal! Wow! What a bargain! Get 'em while they're hot! I've always thought that two of anything is better than one. Enjoy folks! Just remember to play nice.
  2. Version .2

    340 downloads

Here's my revamped GA Scorcher. I've included two versions of the truck, one with John Dough's Goodyears, and one with Rock's Ukraines. As always, this is not a stand alone truck file, you'll need to add the files in the .zip file to your V4 files. Just incase, I've included the files that are required to make the truck work that I didn't edit, eg., Dough's Raptor chassis and Goodyears, and Rock's Ukraines. I hope you guys have fun with the truck. Credits: John Dough - Raptor body, chassis, and Goodyear tires Rockcrwlr - Ukraine tires Sim-Monsters crew - Various V4 components Myself - Paintjob, retexturing of a few chassis parts, and V3 Scorcher wheels If there's anyone I missed, let me know. IMPORTANT: If you downloaded a previous version of the truck you'll need to remove the following ".material" files from you SMV4.zip pack in order for the trucks to properly show the new spec maps. Just move these files out of the pack or delete them: ScorcherV2.material, SwayBarORG.material, SwayBarORG1.material, ORG4link.material, scorcherRim.material. Once you've added the new files and removed the ones mentioned above, clear and regen your cache and you should be good to go.
  3. So sayeth the mighty Harlow, who was birthed from a golden womb of perfection and was born with ultimate knowledge of how to properly model and texture various object of gaming lore. Seriously though man. We all have to start somewhere. If you're gonna give constructive criticism, try imparting some knowledge and not just pure judgment.
  4. Thought I'd give the Ukraines another shot. Thanks for the tip fellas. It was late and I didn't feel like messing with it. Let me know what you guys think. I'm kinda partial to the Goodyears, but if enough of you kiddos like the UK's I might just throw both versions in the zip.
  5. Made some minor adjustments to the Scorcher, mainly to the paint. Noticed there was a slight red tint to the metal part of the truck, so I went back and touched up a few things up. Tried seeing how it would look with Rock's 4.5 Ukraines, but the right side tires kept coming up reversed and I didn't feel like messing with it so I'll just stick with Doughboy's Goodyears. Should have everything zipped up and ready for upload sometime today. Later kiddos.
  6. Well I still have the PSD of the one I painted up for Chris H. It's not perfect but I can try and retrofit it if ya want. On another note. Since the Scorcher got exactly 25 upvotes as of this post, this is now a thing...... I wasn't sure how it would turn out, but I'm diggin it. Still tweaking a few minor details. Should have it up soon. Later taters.
  7. Looks great Harlow! Who's gonna do the paint job?
  8. Just wanted to see if the truck would be worth it.
  9. So I've been toying around with the idea of revamping my Georgia Scorcher truck, and I finally found some time today to mess around. The original truck was a Super Duty, but I wondered what it might look like as a Raptor. So let me know what you guys think. If it gets at least 25 upvotes I'll do it as a Raptor. Here's the original V3 version of the truck: And here's what I've been tinkering with so far: Like I said, I'll make the Raptor version if it gets at least 25 upvotes. Please don't go overboard with the replys, if ya want it as this version, just hit the upvote button. Later taters.
  10. This is just sad. I'm not even gonna bother downloading it. Sucks that this has happened again.
  11. I know it's not MT related but I thought it was funny and I had fun making it. Just being bored messing around in .38. Enjoy.
  12. My thoughts exactly. Been saying that even before BF3 came out. COD is just a freshly polished turd with each new iteration. But, we all have our own opinions.
  13. Best game I've played in a while, The Last of Us.
  14. From that angle it looks like the hood should be just a bit longer and I don't think those are the correct sponsors for the time period.
  15. Found a video I'd recorded a while back and forgot about, decided to edit it and upload. Enjoy.
  16. Just got back from my vacation to Siesta Key, FL. Managed to get some great lightning pix from a nice storm that came through. Here are a couple that I made minor adjustments to. Enjoy kiddos.
  17. Haven't posted anything here in a while so, here's these. Just messing around in the new El Toro that Chris H. and I worked on getting some good air in Tampa.
  18. Well like I said, I'm not sure. I know that it's not likely the PNG 'cause it's all the same color on the hood and fenders. I don't believe the truck has a spec map so that might be a part of it, but as mentioned, I'm not that skilled in Blender. Maybe you guys can get with Chris and figure out what all he did when he remapped it prior to me repainting. I can post up the PNG when I get home if you guys wanna give it a shot and see if you can make it better. Just lmk.
  19. That's an awesome looking leafer. I'm liking all the leafers that are popping up lately. Makes me feel nostalgic.
  20. That's what I was referring to in the first place. That has nothing to do with what I did. I used Photoshop to repaint the body's PNG file. I didn't remap the body at all. If you're having such an issue with how the shading is on the model, feel free to download the truck when Chris releases it and fix it yourself, but of course we're all aware of how that would probably go. Seeing as how you contribute a large amount to the community. I'm not very familiar with blender so I just did the paint job. If you're terribly unhappy with the projects being made, by all means feel free to make them yourself and we'll just sit back and watch the trucks and tracks roll in.
  21. Honestly man I'm not exactly sure what you're talking about. I see where the hood and fender don't have even shadow mapping, but other than that I'm not sure what you justify not being right. It's the same model from the V4 pack, all I did was repaint the existing PNG file from the original red body and then overwrited the PNG Chris had been using. I'll shoot him over the new PNG and you guys can discuss what to do about the shading. Like I stated in the first upload, all I did was the paintjob, so I don't know how it was mapped prior to the new paint.
  22. Went back and fixed the "fluff" that was missing, not sure how I missed it, and edited the material file again. For some dumb reason I was thinking the truck had a semi-gloss finish. As far as the poor edges, I'm not sure how Chris mapped the body, but all I did was overwrite the PNG file with the new one. I hope these adjustments are suitable for his Highness, Lord PC.
  23. Looky what I just finished painting up for Chris Hamilton, aka worldfinals. Finally got it done tonight. It's not perfect but I think it turned out really well. Should have it to Chris soon so he can update the zip file. Just for clarification, all I did was paint the body, the rest was all Chris. Hope you kiddos enjoy it.
  24. Spent a few minutes in Photoshop and Lightroom and threw this together with some pix from Jacksonville this year. Enjoy kiddos.
  25. Just in time for my birthday. Thanks for making this one Mark. It was definitely an awesome show.
